I would never recommend this mortuary to anyone going through the loss of a loved one. It was nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone. Every time I called, I was told someone would call me back, but I never received a callback. I eventually had to text our funeral director, Annie, myself. Even then, she was extremely unhelpful and acted as if I was lying about trying to contact them. At one point she told me she would call me back in "a second," and it took over an hour. When she finally did call, she acted irritated that I was simply asking for the exact balance owed so I could get a cashier's check since they also charge an outrageous credit card fee. The day of the service was another disappointment. We had around 100 people attend my mother's service, yet they only printed 20 memorial cards. I specifically requested the cards be printed in both English and Spanish, but they were only done in English. Our family went about 40 minutes over the scheduled time, which I understand can happen, but this was the last time we would ever see my mother physically here on earth. Instead of showing compassion, the mortuary and church staff made us feel rushed and unwanted, practically pushing us out the door despite there not being another service afterward. To make matters worse, they charged us for supposedly going over by two full hours, even though my mother's body was taken around 6:40 PM and we were definitely not there until 8 PM. When I asked for proof or clarification, Annie completely dismissed my concerns. They also added a cleaning fee even though we left the space spotless. At the end of the day, this mortuary seems more focused on squeezing money out of grieving families than treating them with compassion and respect. Please be careful and consider choosing another mortuary for your loved one.

It was days after the state lifted the mask mandate and places were still not allowing a large gathering. Forest Lawn was allowing us max 40 people after my good friend made a call and told me they were allowing my capacity here at Fontana Mortuary, my sister was able to set up an appointment. When I first stepped foot back into the mortuary now ran by new owners and this time for my own child I was so overwhelmed, broken and didn't know what to expect. Andy welcomed us in, sat us all down and introduced us to Lorena. Lorena immediately became my favorite person just by her compassion, by hearing my sons story by being a MOTHER above all else. Finally someone who understands. She ran through everything step by step, she gave us a tour, she answered all of our questions and then helped us prepare our service. Now through the week my son was still out of state due to his autopsy and waiting for permits to fly him home. Anxious for the day he flew into Ontario airport, I had asked her if she would mind my husband and I meeting up to follow them back to the mortuary once he arrives you know for my reassurance that he's here, that he's home. She said "absolutely" and we did...she allowed me to meet her, we followed her back and just got out and hugged her for giving us that peace and went about our way. The day before the service we had an appointment to prepare my son, Lorena, Jessica and Andy were so amazing, so patient and helped us get him looking so sharp. If it wasn't for the little moments like these I don't know how I would've gotten through this. Especially dealing with two completely different funeral homes and so many different people Lorena and Jessica made me feel like my son was THEIR FAMILY. The day of the service was amazing, I received so many compliments on what a beautiful service it was. Lorena drove my son home and we rode in motorcade exactly how I wanted it. This place has been absolutely awful to deal with, and what was already the hardest time of my life was made even more stressful because of them. I unexpectedly lost my partner after more than 30 years of marriage. There was incorrect information put on the death certificate, and trying to get it corrected was a nightmare. The Inland Memorial Upland location is nearly impossible to get a hold of. I called over and over with no answer and rarely heard back. I eventually had to start calling their other locations just to find someone who would help me. My partner's remains were ready to be picked up and nobody called me. I was the one who had to call and find out they were ready. When I asked why no one had notified me, I was told they were busy. Then the death certificate arrived, which was supposed to be the corrected one, and the same thing happened. Nobody called. I called them and was told, "Oh yeah, we have it here." When I asked why I wasn't notified, once again I was told they were busy. To make matters worse, the certificate STILL wasn't correct. I finally went back to the Upland location in person and spoke with Cesia, who I had already spoken with more than once about this. I explained that I was still dealing with the same issue after everything I had already gone through trying to get it corrected. Her response was, "You have to understand people make mistakes. I'm busy." Of course people make mistakes, but "we're busy" seems to be the excuse for everything at this location. I shouldn't have to chase down a funeral home to find out my partner's remains are ready, find out a death certificate has arrived, or get their mistakes corrected. Every interaction I've had with Cesia has been unpleasant. She is rude, dry and dismissive. When you ask questions, she sounds annoyed and like she doesn't want to be bothered. After reading other reviews and seeing other people mention Cesia by name and describe similar experiences, it's clear I'm not the only person who has experienced this type of treatment. I do want to make it clear that my experience was not the same with everyone at Inland Memorial. Kelly, who works at a different location, was amazing. Out of all the locations I called, she seemed to be the only person I could consistently get a hold of. She never gave me an attitude and was genuinely willing to help. Julie, the supervisor, was also great. She contacted me to resolve the issue before I even had the chance to call her, and she personally delivered the corrected death certificate to my home. I truly appreciated both Julie and Kelly because they showed me the communication and compassion that I should have received from the beginning. My problem is specifically with the Inland Memorial Upland location and the way things were handled there. They are impossible to get a hold of, they don't communicate, and I constantly felt like I had to chase them for information. I am already trying to figure out how to move forward after unexpectedly losing the person I was married to for more than 30 years. My wife and I came here after losing our pregnancy at 13 weeks. We were devastated. The hospital explained that having the remains cremated and returned to us required arrangements through a funeral home. We wanted to bring our loss home and begin moving forward. Grief, it turns out, involves a surprising amount of administration. Forms. Phone calls. Authorizations. Prices. Appointments. And, in our case, an apparently reserved chair. I found Richardson Peterson because they advertised 24/7 availability. I called the evening of July 23 and discovered that "available 24/7" meant reaching a third-party call handler, who took my information and connected me with Laura Galicia. We made an appointment for the following day. Even arriving was confusing: multiple doors, a locked entrance, a doorbell, and no clear indication of what a grieving family standing outside is supposed to do. This would be a petty complaint about a dry cleaner. A funeral home is different. Eventually we were let inside and seated at a small round table with four chairs. I sat down and was told I needed to move. It was "Laura's seat." At a round table. With four chairs. Laura herself was not occupying Laura's Seat because Laura was late. She would be late again. When Laura arrived, we went through the arrangements before she returned with our quote: $900. My wife and I looked at each other. We had researched what this might cost, and $900 was considerably more than expected. We explained that this was our first quote and we needed to compare prices. Laura told us she would hate for us to have to drive around getting quotes during such a trying time. Then $900 became $500. Same cremation. Same remains. Same funeral home. Same round table. The only material fact that had changed was that we said we might leave. Four hundred dollars disappeared. A 44% reduction. There may be some perfectly ordinary explanation for how a service presented to two grieving parents as costing $900 can, within the same conversation, cost $500 once they mention comparison shopping. Nobody provided that explanation to us. During the same meeting, Laura mentioned two nonprofits that might help and promised to follow up. She didn't. I called for an update, then had to call again. On the second call, Laura started giving me information we'd already discussed about the first nonprofit, and I had to remind her that we were waiting on the second. Eventually we learned neither could help. This became the operating procedure: if we wanted information, we had to obtain it ourselves. Between August 6 and August 18 alone, I placed five calls seeking updates. Three emails went unanswered, including one sent by Jerry, another employee, trying to help us get an answer. I even started calling Kaiser because surely some hospital bureaucracy must explain why we knew so little. It didn't. On August 14, I called Richardson Peterson again and reached Laura. I asked for an update. During the conversation she informed me, almost in passing, to the effect of: Oh, yes, we have the remains. We can send them for cremation early next week. This required a moment to process. They had the remains. Richardson Peterson knew they had them. We did not know they had them. Nobody had called. Nobody had emailed. After all the attempts to get an update, the only reason I learned that the funeral home had received the remains from our pregnancy loss was because, once again, I called them. We made an appointment for August 15 to make payment so the process could continue. We arrived. Laura did not. She wasn't even on the premises. This was our second scheduled appointment with Laura and the second time our appointment apparently occupied a more theoretical place on her schedule than on ours. Thankfully, Jerry was there. He took our payment and eventually became our point person. To be fair, Jerry actually tried to help. He emailed on our behalf, stepped in when Laura wasn't there, and on August 28, he was finally the person who called to say the cremated remains were ready. We brought them home the following day. There are businesses where disorganization is irritating. There are businesses where questionable pricing leaves a bad taste in your mouth. A funeral home does not have the luxury of behaving like an ordinary badly run business. My wife just wanted to grieve, bring our loss home, and move forward. Instead, we had to manage the funeral home while trying to manage our grief. This experience made an already devastating situation unnecessarily harder. I would not trust Richardson Peterson/Deco Familia with something this important again.

I never saw or heard any unprofessional actions, and can honestly say the Greene families I served were all extremely pleased by services rendered and received. Over my 50+ years in ministry, I've personally interacted with dozens (100s?) of funeral professionals, and I've seen my share of bad ones, but NOT at Greene. Having worked in the industry during my early college years, it wouldn't take me 10 minutes to discover unprofessional or fraudulent practices. For your information, EVERY funeral home is required under the law to provide a full and complete Price List. You don't have to use Greene and you can "shop the price," if you want, but to post an false review simply reveals its author to be a person of low character.

My Dad passed away in 2020 and I've come to visit his site, leave flowers, talk with him or just sit there. When I have called the office being that there are wasps, they are very prompt to send the grounds men to take care of the situation. The mausoleum is always clean. The sinks for getting water for your flowers as well. There is always the flower holder arms? Available to use. It does have a funny smell but that's pretty normal I would think. I have sat in the mausoleum for a bit when there are families visiting near my Dad to give them privacy. Thankful for Bellevue being local and able to stop and visit my Papa when I can. One thing I would advise, if visiting with fresh flowers, invest in some plant clippers, as you may need to trim the stems of the flowers and roses.

From planning with Melissa to updates from Andrew, we were given a very thorough and pleasant experience. We were inexperienced and recently experienced a very tragic loss, but Ingold was clear and transparent in their process and provided a lot of clarity for us. In preparation, we selected and requested a video and memorial folders as well as a candle. This required us to prepare the photos in advance and upload into a site, in which, Ingold did the rest and had it fully prepared for our event. As far as transferring our loved one, we were informed when they arrived. We also provided a picture of what we envisioned for our loved one and it was exactly how we wished. On the day of the viewing, we had Salvador and Sabrina, who went above and beyond for us. They respected all of our decisions and were more than welcoming and generous to our guests. We experienced a slight issue with audio because we had a newer iPad, but we immediately found a workaround for the music. If you have a usb-c Apple device, bring a converter so it can be played through their system. We chose an evening viewing and opted for the private time from 5 PM - 6 PM and the viewing to take place until 9 PM. We also had items we wished to be given to guests and Salvador and Sabrina made sure to provide to guests. For the funeral, we chose 10 AM - 1 PM, we had Ana, Salvador, and Christina, who all were very helpful and generous. They checked in with us regularly and ensured everything was going well while providing us the space and time to mourn our loved one. We chose to have the afterpass in the reception area and it fit our 50+ guests, which provided enough time and space to eat and socialize. Overall, it was a very good experience and we are absolutely thankful. As far as price, we felt it was within accordance of the value and received compliments from our guests about the whole experience being very well organized and planned.
