This is possibly the worst Dickeys I've been to. Out of brisket, cold and dry pulled pork, cold sausage, okay ribs (mostly dry and gristle though). My kid liked her dino nuggets and fries, so that's the saving grace. I had an upset stomach for 2 days after eating here. Maybe this was an off night? We came at 6pm and only two other tables were there. We had to repeat our order multiple times. I'm sorry to say, but I likely won't be back to this location. read more

I didn't realize this was a popular BBQ chain. I saw some deals on their website and then visited our local place late on a Sunday afternoon. The two employees were busy fulfilling phone orders. I was the only dining room customer. Prices are much higher in real life. I had an Atomic chicken sandwich combo and it came to $17.00! I was expected to tip as well, which threw me off since I ordered at the counter and filled my own drink. Service was fast and friendly. The chicken was very tender, though, and the cole slaw was tasty, so I must say the meal was good. I overheard one employee mention that their weekend was busy, with Friday bringing a "$2000' night. Must have been all those high school seniors celebrating their last day of school. They were out of corn bread, Mac and cheese as well. Resupplies are due tomorrow, Monday. The soda machine also wasn't working so I had uniced, warm tea. Lots of carry out orders were taken, and several Door Dash employees came in while I was inside the diner. Wanted BBQ today so I stopped in. Hadn't been in since it first opened. Ordered the 2 meat plate with pulled pork & ribs, potato salad & cole slaw. Was only given one small container of sauce. Got home and the pork was dry, ribs were tough. Too much mustard in potato salad and the cole slaw was bland. I don't know what kind of bread that was supposed to be, but lacked flavor. I didn't eat all of meal, but have an upset stomach now. I don't know if I will be back. Spent quite a bit of money for something I didn't eat and made my stomach upset. read more

I've been to other Dickeys up in the valley and they don't compare to this location. First off this location is really nice and clean. Service was fast and friendly. I had the Brisket Sandwich and it was tasty. Baked beans were good. I added a cornbread muffin and it was ok. Would definitely come back when I'm in town again. read more

First time trying this location and drove 35 minutes to get my food and I'm deeply disappointed! This brisket is so dry I could have sanded my coffee table with it. The empty parking lot should have given me pause then when I went inside there was only two people eating and on a Friday evening the place should be packed! But I went ahead with my order because I already paid for it which may have been the problem to begin with, since it was a pick up order they just gave me the driest pieces they could find instead of making sure I had a enjoyable meal. Recently stopped here for dinner. I had the two meat plate consisting of brisket and jalapeño cheddar smoked sausage along with creamed spinach and corn bread. For dessert I had the pecan pie. The brisket left a lot to be desired, it lacked flavor and was very dry. Now the sausage.... That my friends was on point!!! Very good!! That alone was worth the trip. The corn bread was moist and flavorful. The creamed spinach was a limited time offering, but I think it could be a regular menu item. It was very good. The pecan pie was good as well. Well. August 16th my son ordered food over the internet for dinner. Well... we get down there to pick up order... MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, They were out of most of the food we ordered. BUT... WAIT FOR IT.... They charged my card the full amount of 88.00 dollars. Now... I walked in there yesterday to get my money back. Some guy comes around the back of coking area ask me what I want, and I tell him. He first acts like I am interrupting then... He.calls this buddy that acted like he ran the place. The only place he is running is Dickey's into the ground. TRUST ME!! Clueless puke!! All I want is my money back. I can hire an attorney to handle this but I want to give the Owner. A opportunity to make it right!!! WHO ELSE HAVE THEY DONE THIS TOO!!! Plus the food was absolutely horrible. The people have been so nice and friendly and quick so it's a shame the BBQ was below subpar. I had the two plate meal. I chose brisket and pulled pork. Pork was 1/2 dried out and brisket was burned with horrible charging and and extremely dry hard overly cooked. The sides were great, the corn bread excellent. The restaurant clean. Ordered from Dickey's for the first time a few days ago. Will not be ordering again. The order was delivered with only half of what was ordered and without any BBQ sauce. The meat that was left was dry as the Sahara desert, particularly without any BBQ sauce. I tried to get a refund and Uber Eats told me I had to pay for the inedible meat. Tried calling the restaurant to get a full refund and heard nothing back so was left at the mercy of Uber Eats's incompetence. So it appears I am going to have to pay for an inedible meal that I threw in the trash anyway. I strongly suggest if you want BBQ in Sierra Vista to take your business elsewhere because these people apparently care nothing about the quality of their product. Update: Was contacted by someone who was apparently the Manager of the Dickey's I ordered from. Said they would rectify the situation and get back to me in 2 days. Heard absolutely nothing. I took my dad there and we ordered the plated dinners. He had two meats: Brisket and Kielbasa, green beans, coleslaw with Texas toast. I ordered: smoked Turkey, jalapeño beans, coleslaw, and a roll. The food was fresh and hot. The sauces - three types all you can serve yourself - were available. The meat was delicious and I really liked the sauces. The roll was the size of a saltine cracker; I'll order Texas Toast next time. We enjoyed the food however, sadly the soft serve ice cream machine was down. Went for lunch, ordered the slider combo w/2 sides. I got a pulled pork slider and a brisket slider. For sides I got the cabbage slaw and sweet buttery corn. The corn was def buttery, no so much sweet! It was swimming in butter but you couldn't mask the fact that it was canned corned. The cabbage slaw was nice and cold, decent. The pulled pork was dry, I added BBQ sauce but it did not help much. I topped both sliders with the slaw. The brisket slider was the superstar of the meal, it was juicy and tender. I would order this again but nothing else as it was not satisfying. The slider buns were hard! I would order the brisket, take it home, and put it on my own bun to ensure soft buttery goodness! Amy is the manager and she is amazing!! I can't sing her praises enough. I live in Chandler and got my parents a gift card for Dickey's. When they went to redeem it, it was never activated and my dad didn't keep the receipt. The Dickey's I purchased it from was no help (even with my bank statement) but Amy went above and beyond by contacting corporate and getting our gift card activated and loaded. Not to mention, my parents have said the food is always on point. Customer service is king these days so kudos to Amy! read more

We went there to eat in the store and wanted a soft serve ice cream but the machine was broken and we were told it could not be fixed. I was lied to about them being out of their dinner rolls. Instead I was told they just had the sliders for the sandwiches. Okay fine. 2. Lack training. There didn't seem to be anyone leading the ship, it was sinking. One girl was obviously new (not her fault), one girl who was talking about all her issues and not focusing on the customers, and finally you have the two guys that just look lost in the back (one of which was the cashier) 3. I get home after they hand me my order. Granted yes I should have checked after what I saw but I didn't. So yes my fault there. But anyways we get home and low and behold I'm missing the meal part of my order. I call and they say yup it's here. So I go back to get it. Same people all there. I didn't change my clothes or appearance at all. I walk in they ask if I'm here to pick up the sandwich. I said yes. I wait 5 minutes and then am asked again but this time "what sandwich?" Which I told her my forgotten one. You helped me. Which she responded "oh yeah" and went to get it out of the heated area. It has now been over 30 minutes but it's okay because they kept it warm. Whatever I left 5. Get home and see they had the dinner rolls! They just threw it on top of a medocre amount of chicken. That's it. Just wow. Wife & I got a smoked turkey from the Sierra Vista Dickeys the other day and cooked it today for supper. Weird cooking directions like cooking it in the plastic bag it came in? OK, we can do that. Cooked it to temp, pulled it out, stripped off the bag and VOILA!!!! Every see the movie Christmas Vacation; to wit, the dry turkey scene? This was a smaller version of that. Dry steam and ULTRA dry meat! So dry the cats wouldn't eat it!!! The meat fell off the major bones and it was "bone dry." I wouldn't offer this to the homeless let alone my worst relatives. So we have dry bones that probably won't yield enough broth for a gravy; I refuse to use the stuff that came with the bird. And we have meat that is drier than a popcorn fart. What do we do? Well the javalenas, skunks and coyotes got fed with the deboned meat.....if there's any left, I'll let you know. The carcass bones will be buried in the Cochise County land fill. I hope it doesn't upset the global warming thing. What kind of Vendor can offer shit like this to the public, esp over the holidays? read more

I love Dickey's! Our favorite is the pulled pork sandwhich, with mac and cheese, and slaw. Every time we have been in we have amazing service, and great food. Place is always clean! With all of the local restaurants offering pick up orders during this Coronavirus issue - our management provided lunch today - we chose Dickey's and we got burned! First of all they were out of menu items which is understandable. The only choices were chicken pulled pork or jalapeño sausage. I ordered 3xs the chicken when the meal included 3 meats and I don't eat pork. So they gave me a tiny little amount of chicken - not 3xs either only barely 1 order of meat. I give this three stars, not because it was "bad" but the food was mediocre. It could've been that we went at evening which apparently this place runs out of food because of how busy it is and therefore eating at "dinner" time or after is "flip of a coin" on what they have left to choose from. The workers "customer service" was nice and professional, but lack of employees... I want to say maybe three people working at that time. Which held up the line, but I don't think anyone was in a hurry. We as the customers knew they were "behind" and don't really mind.. almost as an " nonverbal agreement". Anyway, my wife and I got the brisket plate. I did notice the employee asked her certain questions and when I got to ordering that same employee didn't ask me and assume I wanted the same -since we both got the "same plate". Is it a big deal, no, but each customer despite in a group or not is different. The brisket was plain and somewhat dry...a little to dry. The small "bread" look like it came off of those airplane meals...the small square ones. It was ok, but u less this place is the only one who serves these type of small bread, I'm sure other spots served bigger breads. Anyway, the ice cream was decent not to bad for being complimentary.
