UPDATED REVIEW: I hate to say this but I've been continually disappointed in this establishment for a good year or so. The brewed coffee, though always "grainy", has become even more so. I get that you have to "stretch" popular items, but there comes a point where you either serve coffee or the coffee substitute. But that isn't even the biggest issue. We go in at 8 to 8:15 Sunday mornings. Have for a good long while and eat before the church rush comes in. But for the last 3 months we had to find somewhere else because more and more tables are marked RESERVED as if this were a Michelin restaurant and not a diner. You used to see one or two tables with a card on it. Last time we went in, there were six. Now in a small establishment where you seat yourself, this is a big turnoff! The ONE time we did find a table, we were there for well over an hour as we had to wait for our food from the kitchen and don't you know, no one ever came in and sat at those reserved tables. Not one! Now the wait staff is still very nice and friendly and they seem disappointed when we have to turn around and leave. But that's the only bright spot. Well, that and this has caused us to go searching for another local breakfast restaurant to become regulars at. Thankfully we have! read more

The only other place that I consider for breakfast is Bisbee Breakfast Club, but I don't need to drive 40 minutes for an amazing breakfast. I can drive 5 minutes and get an excellent breakfast, great service and a comfy "at home" vibe. I recommend the Country Benedict, the biscuits with sausage gravy, the chicken fried steak & eggs or their classic breakfast with "Pam" cakes and bacon. Everything here is fantastic. The ambiance is that of an older American setting, with indoor and limited outdoor seating. Discovery: I was advised of this restaurant via some classmates. I observed the yelp reviews, which was 3.5 stars with 160 Yelp reviews, and decided to check this restaurant out. Currently, this restaurant has 3.5 stars with the same 160 Yelp reviews. Initial service: I walked into an open service area and was greeted by a female waitress. I was meeting a group of 8 and we were seated in a timely manner. The waitress was professional, and we received our drinks in a timely manner. A short time later, the waiter received our lunch orders. Food: The food arrived within 20 minutes. The presentation of the food was good. The portion of the food was good, and the quality was good. I had ordered the patty melt, which was pretty good. I had no complaints. Alcohol: This restaurant does serve alcohol and beer, but I did not attempt to try what they had. Orderly: The restaurant appeared to be clean. I did not observe the male bathrooms. Price: The patty melts and onions rings that I had, came out to $19, which isn't bad. My classmates had various prices of $15 - $19 for their single plates. Grievance: None. Recommendation of business: I would recommend this business for family and friends who want to try good American food. Conclusion / Overall: Based on the service, the quality / quantity of the food and the ambiance, I will give this restaurant 4 stars. Good for the area. Expect a wait whether busy or not I'd say, but if you have some time to kill it's decent for here. If you like people watching, it also works for that too. They've also got drinks to boot in the morning for reference. Service was friendly and attentive when there, answering any questions we had. Water refills infrequent. I had gotten the zesty veggie with hollandaise, but opted for the chipotle hollandaise the second time. I'd say get the chipotle, it was a very welcome addition. Eggs were poached well in each case. We decided to give this place a try while we were in Sierra Vista. Being from Phoenix, I was surprised how little breakfast spots there were. The place is located in a nice little complex. Very inviting. The inside is very eclectic and a typical breakfast spot. There was a coffee stand inside so I decided to treat myself to a coffee. The coffee was delicious and very reasonably priced. The barista even delivered it to our table. We were greeted and told about the special which was a waffle breakfast with all the berries. My husband decided on that and I tried the California omelette. Both plates where plenty big, big enough we had leftovers. We waited OVER 40 minutes for a breakfast plate and a tuna melt. I would have been happier eating at home making a tuna melt on the stove. And on top of it, we waited so long and are paying for overpriced drinks. Not a good experience. Don't have so many seats if you CAN'T FEED THEM IN A TIMELY MANNER. Also, a table that came AFTER us by 20 minutes got served before us. Not happy and will NOT be coming back. If you value your time, don't go here. Great little spot. We were passing through from out of state and were hungry, so we stopped here. We were welcomed in and told to sit wherever we liked. A server soon came to take our order, and I ordered a cocktail with my meal. The server said she'd have to check on that. She came back and said that they don't serve cocktails within 30 minutes of closing and apologized. We had no idea that they were about to close, or we'd have never gone in. None the less, they took our food orders, served us with a smile, and the food was delicious. I apologized for coming in at closing, and they said to not be concerned... they seat people until closing, and to not feel rushed. They went over and above. I love to goto the Landmark for brunch! It's fun to get a small group of friends and go hang out and munch down on some good food. The waitresses are awesome and funny. I really enjoyed my last visit there. They also do delivery which is perfect when I need a big breakfast but don't have the energy to make it. When I said the service was cheerful but lackadaisical, it was because she was friendly when she took our order, but then never followed up and made sure our drinks weren't empty - they were. We came in a full hour before they closed and they were still seating people when we were getting ready to leave. Yet most of the people working there seemed more intent on doing whatever they could to shut down, and at the expense of customer service. There are LOTS of other places to go for breakfast / brunch. The place is very homey with both booths and tables. The menu offers breakfast, lunch, however, dinner is served only in Fridays. I have gone for their Fish Fry Fridays, all you you can eat for under &20.00. The fish was good and hot, coleslaw was tasteful, their homemade chips are great. To die for Crepes. My family enjoyed a Sunday brunch here, god the first time. The very friendly waitress offered up the Sunday specials to us. My wife could not pass up the crepes w/ fresh fruit. I went south of the border with the south west Eggs Benedict and my son the pattie melt. All were amazing. We all had to share each other's meal because to was just too good to keep to ourself. I hope you enjoy the live music also as we did outside. Just a Cowboy and a guitar but amazing old school country voice. His acoustic guitar Chops were on par Also. As an old Nashville musician myself, I won't say that much. I dropped a 10 in his tip jar and grabbed his card. I was very impressed with his spins of Jonnie Cash and Merle Haggard but what impressed me the most was the song he wrote about his father. He was the cherry on top for this great outing. I have to revise my review from the other day about the schnitzel and Ruben sandwich which were both great. My wife and I went back and ordered the fish and chips and the chicken tenders. Both are awful, first of all they are certainly both out of the freezer from a restaurant distributor. The tender is processed chicken so if you like McNuggets they might be for you. This is not why I go to a restaurant and spend $40. I expect a @restaurant to cook the food. If I want this I can go to the stores frozen food section and cook it up on my toaster oven. The only reason I didn't send back was because I didn't want to create an uproar at all. Same nice service, but these items shouldn't be on the menu. We had a really good breakfast at Landmark while visiting Sierra Vista. The restaurant was walking distance from our hotel, which was a bonus. Casual family restaurant vibe, offers indoor and outdoor seating. They have a full bar, and offer very reasonably priced mimosas, cocktails, and bloody Marys. I had the Popeye scramble-eggs, bacon, spinach, and a ton of cheese. Delicious! Good home fries, well cooked, with some crispy bits, just like I like them. The biscuit was not amazing. Bready, a bit dry, without that crumble that I love in a biscuit. Boyfriend got the biscuits with sausage gravy. They were bland, as I often find biscuits and gravy to be. Would not recommend them. Service was amazing, very friendly. Food and drinks came quickly, never saw the bottom of my coffee cup. If you were looking for a solid, filling, reasonably priced breakfast, definitely check out the Landmark. read more

The food here is great but the service completely sucks, at least on the weekends. Placed an order to go at 9am, they took it without saying anything. Usually it's 5-10 minutes. Didn't get food until 9:45am. Established restaurants like this should be able to tell you when there are exceptionally long wait times - they ruined our plans for the rest of our Sunday. read more
