    Banchan

Gogi Korean BBQ is just what Sierra Vista was missing in this community. We have long waited for a real Korean BBQ restaurant and were beyond excited to hear about the newest one in town. Even with two little ones we were seated immediately on a busy Saturday night. The restaurant is extremely clean and modern looking. All interiors are completely brand new and even the bathrooms were pristine. Our server was fantastic and got us drinks and banchan immediately. I personally did not care for the eggplant one and was hoping they had cucumber kimchi (Oi Kimchi), but their cabbage kimchi and other banchan was absolutely delicious. The meat portions are generous and cam easily feed two. My husband and I ordered the pork belly and beef bulgogi and could barely move afterwards! We will definitely be back again for another date night soon.

My wife and I ate there on a Monday evening. The food was excellent! The owner was so kind and gracious, and made us feel like she was cooking for family We will definitely be going back.

This is a good addition to this town. Typical Korean BBQ spot with appetizers and lettuce. Good spot to go to with a group. We had the short ribs and beef bulgogi. Service was good and all servers are attentive. Will certainly return to try again. The prices are somewhat higher for this town, but worth it to try something new.

To start off the review, the food tasted good came out steaming. The service was lovely. The server was super nice and what it seems like the owner brought us a free appetizer to try. There was music playing along with different TVs. Overall a great experience at the Gogi Korean barbecue

Dont order bibimbap, there is just a little scattered ground beef (like a half coffee spoon) in the bowl. Price is expensive.

As you enter the door, the restaurant is on your left, and another business is on the right-hand side. I paid no attention to what it was since it was late and I was tired. I ordered my standard, which is chicken fried rice and an egg roll. She mentioned having spring rolls, which was fine as long as they were not seafood since I am allergic to them. Well, the total came to $36+. At first, I thought she might have charged me for two chicken fried rice dishes since that's usually the case, but to my surprise, the spring roll was four rolls per order at $9.95. So, if you're eating solo, be ready because ordering a single roll is impossible. They are only orderable in quantities of four. She had to call the manager to cancel the additional order for spring rolls. No worries. The cashier/order taker was kind and friendly, a delight after a demanding day. As for the food, it was plentiful and fresh, and I even went to Walmart afterward to pick up some bottled water.

I really liked it and would order it again. The Sichuan Chicken, on the other hand, was a miss for me just overly fried little balls with not much going on and way too salty. The noodles were solid though, good texture and taste. All in all, this is a solid, tasty Chinese spot. Nothing mind-blowing, but reliable and worth returning to. I'd definitely go back!

I get that you have to "stretch" popular items, but there comes a point where you either serve coffee or the coffee substitute. But that isn't even the biggest issue. We go in at 8 to 8:15 Sunday mornings. Have for a good long while and eat before the church rush comes in. But for the last 3 months we had to find somewhere else because more and more tables are marked RESERVED as if this were a Michelin restaurant and not a diner. You used to see one or two tables with a card on it. Last time we went in, there were six. Now in a small establishment where you seat yourself, this is a big turnoff! The ONE time we did find a table, we were there for well over an hour as we had to wait for our food from the kitchen and don't you know, no one ever came in and sat at those reserved tables. Not one! Now the wait staff is still very nice and friendly and they seem disappointed when we have to turn around and leave. But that's the only bright spot. Well, that and this has caused us to go searching for another local breakfast restaurant to become regulars at. Thankfully we have!

A good local option for breakfast. Lots of menu options at reasonable prices, comfortable seating,…read moreand friendly service.

We placed our orders at the counter with a lovely, sweet, friendly, helpful girl that answered all of our questions. The food was AMAZING! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! The place was sparkling clean and spotless! We were served quickly. We went for lunch and I had a traditional dish called the Trio Rice Plate. I was disappointed to be told I couldn't have the pork because they had run out of it. I had the grilled marinated beef, with a fried spring roll, and 3 grilled shrimp. The others in my party were happy with their Vermicelli (noodle) Bowls. One had the chicken lunch special and the other had the Sautéed beef and onions over noodles. Everything came with a small bowl of fish sauce to pour over your meal if desired. The noodle bowls came with lots of surprises under the noodles. Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, etc. I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK and try every one of the Peacock's menu items!!!

Instead give you a hard time about having to check what kind of oil they use. Then try & argue what it actually says on the label because they rather just say it's vegetable oil. It's SOYBEAN OIL. Which is what I asked as nicely as possible to avoid this kind of scene. It floors me why people that should care about their customers allergies get annoyed when they have to go & check instead of actually knowing what they use to prepare their food. If you have food allergies or even intolerances to certain things don't trust this place to be honest with you. It wasn't a mistake on their part it was a lack of giving a to sell you a meal no matter what.
