Gogi Korean BBQ is just what Sierra Vista was missing in this community. We have long waited for a real Korean BBQ restaurant and were beyond excited to hear about the newest one in town. Even with two little ones we were seated immediately on a busy Saturday night. The restaurant is extremely clean and modern looking. All interiors are completely brand new and even the bathrooms were pristine. Our server was fantastic and got us drinks and banchan immediately. I personally did not care for the eggplant one and was hoping they had cucumber kimchi (Oi Kimchi), but their cabbage kimchi and other banchan was absolutely delicious. The meat portions are generous and cam easily feed two. My husband and I ordered the pork belly and beef bulgogi and could barely move afterwards! We will definitely be back again for another date night soon.

My wife and I ate there on a Monday evening. The food was excellent! The owner was so kind and gracious, and made us feel like she was cooking for family We will definitely be going back.

This is a good addition to this town. Typical Korean BBQ spot with appetizers and lettuce. Good spot to go to with a group. We had the short ribs and beef bulgogi. Service was good and all servers are attentive. Will certainly return to try again. The prices are somewhat higher for this town, but worth it to try something new.

To start off the review, the food tasted good came out steaming. The service was lovely. The server was super nice and what it seems like the owner brought us a free appetizer to try. There was music playing along with different TVs. Overall a great experience at the Gogi Korean barbecue

Dont order bibimbap, there is just a little scattered ground beef (like a half coffee spoon) in the bowl. Price is expensive.

I finally made it back here after three years. I wanted to see if there are any changes since my…read morelast visit. First, the restaurant section is now in a different dining area from the previous place. (The old location is where the hotel serves its buffet breakfasts) While I like the wall art, ambiance is not as charming as in the previous dining area. Second, the only lunch special now is a chicken-fried steak platter for $14.95. Today I ordered the minced garlic honey chicken since my very friendly server recommended it. It came out promptly. It's mostly fried chicken breast pieces smothered in sweet sauce. I also ordered water and it came with a slice of lemon. I love that! The meal definitely smelled of garlic, but what I mostly tasted was the overpowering sweet honey. Portions were big, but the meal was screaming for some vegetable side dish. I got white rice in a bowl, but no soup like the first time. I did get to serve myself to soft-serve ice cream afterward, but it was just ok. There is a private room off the main dining room for large parties. I left feeling stuffed. Excellent service, good food. I'll come back again and may even try the lunch special with chicken.

Well, all good things come to an end... But, don't get me wrong, the food isn't bad, it's just not…read moreas good as it was.... First of all, the hotel was bought out by Clarion, so it is now "Clarion Inn Sierra Vista". I thought the outside looked cleaned up a bit, but the inside was a bit rough. The food was totally different from what we experienced in 2024. First, I orded the exact same dish, the Sweet and Sour Pork. The pork wasn't "clean" as I described it last time. You know how sometimes the worst and cheapest cuts of meat are used? It's got all sorts of discoloring on it, the pieces are odd shaped like giblets or something? That's what I got. Previously, the pieces were like chopped... and lightly breaded. The sauce wasn't super sweet, and had a good even sweet vs sour to it. That was last time,... 2024. Now, the messy looking meat, heavy breading, super sugary sauce. And the rice.... the rice before had what I believe to be black sesame seeds sprinkled on top... and the flavor of the rice with those in it, was over the top delicious. Those little tiny black specs just turned bland white rice to a top notch dish. Well, again, that was then, this is now... just a bowl of bland white rice. So, to summarize. The s&s pork was... eh... the rice was... blah. I mean, I LOVED this restaurant before. Now it's just.... eh... Too bad. Oh, and just to note, the reason we hadn't been here in 2 years, we live out of town. This restaurant was literally part of our reasons for coming here on out "day trip" vacation. Disappointing.

We placed our orders at the counter with a lovely, sweet, friendly, helpful girl that answered all of our questions. The food was AMAZING! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! The place was sparkling clean and spotless! We were served quickly. We went for lunch and I had a traditional dish called the Trio Rice Plate. I was disappointed to be told I couldn't have the pork because they had run out of it. I had the grilled marinated beef, with a fried spring roll, and 3 grilled shrimp. The others in my party were happy with their Vermicelli (noodle) Bowls. One had the chicken lunch special and the other had the Sautéed beef and onions over noodles. Everything came with a small bowl of fish sauce to pour over your meal if desired. The noodle bowls came with lots of surprises under the noodles. Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, etc. I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK and try every one of the Peacock's menu items!!!

All dishes, everyone in the small restaurant, came out a little late (took a long time to be served after ordering.) Dishes were good, but not pipping hot.
