Oh goodness, our 1lb of brisket was 3/4 sliced fat. Yuck! The rest wasn't cooked properly. The potato salad was so vinegary that we couldn't eat it. The Cole slaw was over the top sweet. We ordered the plain sausage and was given the cheese and jalapeño sausage. It was good but way to cheesy. The tea was old. Yuck!! We haven't been to this location in a while. Last time we were there it was really good. I understand the ownership has changed ‍. Oh and our bill was $98! It was a to go order. read more

I have bought brisket from the Springtown location since it has opened. It has been some time since I last bought some brisket. I am surprised how wrong in quality and service this place has gone to. First the man behind the counter has a very hard time understanding English and is confused by ordering 1/2 pound of chopped beef. Once we have that straitened out or so I thought I received my 1/2 pound of brisket but its not chopped. Its sliced and not smoked but steamed. it is basically I have a 1/2 pound roast beef but at the price of a "smoked" brisket. SAVE your money there are other BBQ places in town that are better but cost a little more. But you get a brisket instead of roast beef. read more

Connected to gas station should tell you enough about this location. Nobody working the drive-thru mic, we pulled up to the window to order and worker was sitting on his phone, ignored us and finally got up and helped customer that walked up to counter afterwards. Ordered sliced brisket sandwiches, got a cold mess of brisket in a bun. Ordered a Dr Pepper and Coke, both tasted the same way... old. Gentleman at drive thru was polite, food was very good..... but what is best about barbeque? the sauce which we didn't get any..... no sauce what so ever, not on the meat or in a cup.... no damn sauce.. was I going to drive 6,5 miles back to get it? no... but come on give the damn sauce, you are a barbeque place.....also no dinner roll in any of our plates... oh well maybe I didn't need those carbs and no sauce to sop up so the roll didn't matter anyway..... but good meat and nice people. read more

NO FOOD!!!!! Ordered food for me and my children, waited an hour and a half and called. Apparently they do not have enough staff to handle a small delivery order. Never got any food and she had no clue how to refund my money. I had to call Dickeys Headquarters. This particular location should be shut down ASAP. I hope Dickey's gets a handle on this before it tarnishes their good name. Please avoid this location at all cost...not worth the aggravation. read more

Purchased Picnic Pack of beef bbq today at Springtown, TX location. Received ONLY about 1/4 lb. of beef when pack should have had 1 lb. We're elderly, light appetites so when we frequently get this pack costing over $25, it is 4 meals for us. Wish we had checked before we drove 25 miles home. Will think twice before going to Dickey's again. read more

We love Dickies but the Springtown location is just the worst! We have been going to this location for about 2 years. It was okay, just okay, at first but you can count on them forgetting something, not giving you bbq sauce unless you open the bag after arguing with them & show they didn't give you any, and if you ask them not to put your pickles & onions in the same container...that's a major problem for them. But in the last few months it's been even worse! I went there the other day at lunch. I tried to call in the order but could only get a busy signal, tried for 30 minutes +. Went through the drive-thru and they never came to the speaker, pulled up to the window and no one ever came, I honked, knocked on the window & yelled. I was about to drive off & a worker from the store walked out, I asked & he said they're open and he went in & told them to come to the window....BTW I was their only customer. I ordered a chopped beef sandwich & sliced sandwich. Tried to order sides & she kept offering me mashed potatoes, that I didn't want. Finally was told not all sides were available but never actually told, besides mashed potatoes, what they do have. Got home and our sandwiches were full of fat, barely had any meat & what meat was in them was so tough we couldn't eat it. But on a positive note, she did separate the onions & pickles! read more

Worker was very polite, but when I arrived they were all out of the chicken Caesar salad that I already paid for. Portions were really small and I tipped ahead of time which was a mistake.Sorry to say but you never get a second chance to make a first impression.
