It was a lunch crowd, so the white staff was on top of making sure that everyone receive their food and a very timely manner. Friendly service night atmosphere very clean bathrooms and not a bad meal and will definitely be going back our waitress. Her name was Amy.

I had never been to Weatherford and I have never been to Longhorn Steakhouse before this past weekend, but now I have been to both. The occasion was my best friend's birthday. My first thought as I walked in was that it was a typical Texas steakhouse. By typical Texas steakhouse, I mean average steaks that come close to how you ordered them, but never quite match the quality of one of the finer steak houses. Thankfully that was not the case here! Our server was fantastic and handled our large party like a champ. Never once did our party of 12 suffer for being such a large party, even though it was a busy Saturday night. We ordered a few different appetizers, the Wild West Shrimp, the White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms, and the Texas Tonion. For my main course I ordered the Flo's Filet. Everything was great! In fact so great, I can't wait to go to the location by our house! Review #2147

expensive for a burnt, tough piece of meat...again...no one checked to see if all was OK.

I ate here 2 weeks ago for lunch and it was great. Tonight, I ordered the same and it was waaaaay overcooked. I ordered the 8 oz filet w mashed potatoes. Med well...it came out well plus! the potatoes were cold! So maybe it sat too long and kept cooking??? I really don't know...steak wasn't above warm either. Very disappointed this time in my 40.00 dinner for one. 9 oz filet with salad and side. a small cup of tortilla soup. The soup was the best part. Things happen, my steak was overcooked...waaay overcooked, cold food. But no one asked how my meal was. no manager checked, nothing. Usually they will ask if the steak is cooked properly. Not this time. I suggest going for lunch,,,Id find a different place for dinner.

We went through the Longhorn Steakhouse website and got inline for a Saturday night dinner date. We arrived at 7:00 pm and walked in and were sat very quickly. We were able to sit in a booth and because it was cold in the restaurant we sat on the same side. Our waitress Qeyanna was quick to greet us and get our drink order, lemonade and a coke and brought us bread while we looked at the menu. She was on point throughout our meal. We opted for Chicken Fried Steak and Chicken Fried Chicken. Both came with mashed potatoes (excellent even though the portion was small and salads with Ranch (also fresh and tasty). My additional side was sweet potato (I regretted saying yes to cinnamon and hubs got crispy okra (terrible - they leave the tips on and then fry avoid.) Portions were large for the $14.99 price and we both took home leftovers. It would be easy for two people to split the plate. A rambunctious child next to us had us eating a dashing but I would visit again.

Quick review: Longhorn Steakhouse is a chain of steak places in Texas. Our experience was pretty good. The food was decent for the price. I ordered a medium rare steak and it came out "pretty much" raw. Which is fine, because I like mine on the rarer side of medium rare, but this was actually still almost cold. The wife got the Chicken Fried steak and it was quite good and was a very large portion. More than she could ever imagine eating. The spotlights was on the side salads and the garlic stuffed mushrooms. Both were very good. I could have just had these and been fine.

Little slow on the drinks and welcome. Appetizers were very good and fresh waitress was a little slow on the sauces but seems nice. Sweet tea not so sweet. Our entree came out finally after 45 mins asked for medium rare Mac n cheese was good and corn was good as well could have used more seasoning.

We went here today for my wife's birthday. There were two of us and it was 2:00 in the afternoon. We had a wait of 5 minutes which is great and we're seated in a mostly empty dining room. Our wait person came and took our drink order. After we placed our good order she brought us a bread roll. It was very warm and melted the butter however it was a bit under baked. Kinda doughy. When our food came I was disappointed with the visual of my chicken fried steak. I've eaten lots of them in my life time but never one that looked like this one did. The gravy was very good as was the mash potatoes and okra spears. My wife's steak was perfect as was the sweet potato. Our wait person had no courtesy or hospitality skills whatsoever. A little training would probably fix that. I'm sure we will go back there and I'll just have a steak or a salad.

The food was good as it always is. If you are not happy they will correct it for you ASAP. The service was good but we were there at prime time Saturday night dinner time and it was packed. I like going here to Longhorn Steakhouse.

You can actually taste the flavor of the meat instead of it just being lost in toppings. The gluten free bun was a pleasant surprise too; it held together really well and didn't fall apart like most do. Fries were tasty and well seasoned. Prices: It wasn't bad at all. $20 for the burger (with the gluten free bun upcharge) and a drink felt fair for what you get. Service: Good when my waitress was around. She was friendly. Just wish she'd checked in a little more often. Environment: Nice patio for when the weather's good, and the inside has a cool vibe. You can tell it gets packed though, so definitely make a reservation or go early if you can. Will for sure be going back. Biggest issue was parking. It's on the edge of downtown Weatherford, so good luck finding a spot around meal time

I do the responsible thing and CALL AHEAD like a civilized human being. "Do y'all have prime rib?" I ask. "Yes," they say--with confidence. With conviction. With what I can only assume was zero verification. So I drive my hungry, hopeful self all the way there, already tasting that juicy, perfect bite in my mind... only to be told: "Oops, no they told you wrong, we dont have prime rib " Oops? That's not a minor inconvenience. That's betrayal. That's psychological damage. That's me sitting there questioning my life choices while staring at a menu I no longer trust. No apology worth mentioning, no effort to make it right--just vibes and disappointment. If you're going to crush someone's dinner dreams, at least have the decency to do it over the phone so I can cry in my car at home instead of your parking lot. 10/10 for building anticipation. 0/10 for delivering anything resembling prime rib. The rumors are true Rio Brazos Grill is fantastic. Not "good for a small town," not "surprisingly…read moredecent" just flat-out good. The kind of place where it's immediately obvious someone in the kitchen actually knows what they're doing, which already puts it ahead of most restaurants pretending to. The meal starts strong with flash-fried calamari Fresno chilies, sweet chili sauce, balanced heat, and a clean execution. It comes as strips, which feels a little safe. Rings or whole baby squid would've shown more technical confidence, but fine the flavor still delivers, and at the end of the day, that's what people actually remember. The Calabria chili shrimp follows with the same sense of control: spicy, but not trying to prove a point. Paired with grilled baguette, it does exactly what it's supposed to do support the dish instead of getting in the way. And then there's the Chicken Fried Ribeye, which sounds like a bad decision until you eat it. Crispy on the outside, rich and tender underneath, covered in black pepper gravy with buttermilk mashed potatoes, a potato nest, and because apparently restraint is optional--two fried quail eggs. It's excessive, but not stupid. That's a very fine line, and they walk it well. Chef Clint Connaway clearly has classical training--nobody just stumbles into a proper beurre blanc. The menu pulls from Southwestern, Native American, Mexican and French influences, which should feel chaotic but somehow doesn't. It works because the execution is consistent, even when the ideas get a little ambitious. That said, the place isn't perfect. The quail eggs show up so often they start to feel less like a signature and more like a habit. And for all the technical skill, there's a noticeable lack of local identity. With Bosque Ranch right down the road, it's hard not to wonder why more local beef isn't front and center. A stronger focus on seasonal or locally sourced ingredients would push this from great to something more grounded--something that actually tastes like where you are. And then there's the obvious question: why no brunch? A kitchen like this could absolutely dominate a brunch service. Instead, it's just... not happening, which feels like wasted potential. Still, none of that changes the core truth. The food is thoughtful, the technique is real, and most importantly you leave feeling satisfied instead of questioning your life choices. That alone is worth something.
