It was a lunch crowd, so the white staff was on top of making sure that everyone receive their food and a very timely manner. Friendly service night atmosphere very clean bathrooms and not a bad meal and will definitely be going back our waitress. Her name was Amy.

I had never been to Weatherford and I have never been to Longhorn Steakhouse before this past weekend, but now I have been to both. The occasion was my best friend's birthday. My first thought as I walked in was that it was a typical Texas steakhouse. By typical Texas steakhouse, I mean average steaks that come close to how you ordered them, but never quite match the quality of one of the finer steak houses. Thankfully that was not the case here! Our server was fantastic and handled our large party like a champ. Never once did our party of 12 suffer for being such a large party, even though it was a busy Saturday night. We ordered a few different appetizers, the Wild West Shrimp, the White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms, and the Texas Tonion. For my main course I ordered the Flo's Filet. Everything was great! In fact so great, I can't wait to go to the location by our house! Review #2147

We went through the Longhorn Steakhouse website and got inline for a Saturday night dinner date. We arrived at 7:00 pm and walked in and were sat very quickly. We were able to sit in a booth and because it was cold in the restaurant we sat on the same side. Our waitress Qeyanna was quick to greet us and get our drink order, lemonade and a coke and brought us bread while we looked at the menu. She was on point throughout our meal. We opted for Chicken Fried Steak and Chicken Fried Chicken. Both came with mashed potatoes (excellent even though the portion was small and salads with Ranch (also fresh and tasty). My additional side was sweet potato (I regretted saying yes to cinnamon and hubs got crispy okra (terrible - they leave the tips on and then fry avoid.) Portions were large for the $14.99 price and we both took home leftovers. It would be easy for two people to split the plate. A rambunctious child next to us had us eating a dashing but I would visit again.

Quick review: Longhorn Steakhouse is a chain of steak places in Texas. Our experience was pretty good. The food was decent for the price. I ordered a medium rare steak and it came out "pretty much" raw. Which is fine, because I like mine on the rarer side of medium rare, but this was actually still almost cold. The wife got the Chicken Fried steak and it was quite good and was a very large portion. More than she could ever imagine eating. The spotlights was on the side salads and the garlic stuffed mushrooms. Both were very good. I could have just had these and been fine.

expensive for a burnt, tough piece of meat...again...no one checked to see if all was OK.

I ate here 2 weeks ago for lunch and it was great. Tonight, I ordered the same and it was waaaaay overcooked. I ordered the 8 oz filet w mashed potatoes. Med well...it came out well plus! the potatoes were cold! So maybe it sat too long and kept cooking??? I really don't know...steak wasn't above warm either. Very disappointed this time in my 40.00 dinner for one. 9 oz filet with salad and side. a small cup of tortilla soup. The soup was the best part. Things happen, my steak was overcooked...waaay overcooked, cold food. But no one asked how my meal was. no manager checked, nothing. Usually they will ask if the steak is cooked properly. Not this time. I suggest going for lunch,,,Id find a different place for dinner.

Little slow on the drinks and welcome. Appetizers were very good and fresh waitress was a little slow on the sauces but seems nice. Sweet tea not so sweet. Our entree came out finally after 45 mins asked for medium rare Mac n cheese was good and corn was good as well could have used more seasoning.

My chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and okra spears.

We went here today for my wife's birthday. There were two of us and it was 2:00 in the afternoon. We had a wait of 5 minutes which is great and we're seated in a mostly empty dining room. Our wait person came and took our drink order. After we placed our good order she brought us a bread roll. It was very warm and melted the butter however it was a bit under baked. Kinda doughy. When our food came I was disappointed with the visual of my chicken fried steak. I've eaten lots of them in my life time but never one that looked like this one did. The gravy was very good as was the mash potatoes and okra spears. My wife's steak was perfect as was the sweet potato. Our wait person had no courtesy or hospitality skills whatsoever. A little training would probably fix that. I'm sure we will go back there and I'll just have a steak or a salad.

A great wine list with some of our California Central Coast favorites, we chose the Austin Hope Cab. The food was really spectacular, started with the bruschetta special that was brisket with goat cheese and tomato with a touch of cranberry, really unexpected and delicious. We shared the Fire Oak Salad, which was great, the balsamic vinaigrette was fabulous. My wife got the 6 oz. sous vide filet, which was so tender and perfectly done, while I got the 14 oz. ribeye which was also done perfectly, I love a rare steak in California, but have found in Texas, rare is a bit more rare that I would normally do, but the chef did an in-between rare and medium rare when I asked and it couldn't have been better. The seasoning was better than I've had on a steak ever while dining out. We usually don't get steaks dining out because we love how we do them at home, but this was a delight. We topped it off with their crème brûlée, which was a creamy masterpiece. I've been on a quest for the best crème brûlée for 30 years and this one is at the top of my list. We had a really enjoyable time chatting with staff and eventually the owner. Such nice folks. If you're near Weatherford, this is an experience you shouldn't pass up!

Most everyone gives this place 5 stars, and I would say Fire Oak absolutely earned them! No suspense here.... This restaurant is awesome! I unreservedly say 5 stars! My lovely bride and I went on a Saturday night. I made reservations several days in advance and I imagine it to be a wise choice. This place is on the expensive side, but worth every penny! The building is probably mid 1800's but they have partitioned the seating areas so that the sound does not echo off the original tin ceiling. What a beautiful dining experience in this place! My wife and I tried to think of anything that did not match the 5 star rating but we just couldn't. I am so happy we came here! Our waiter was Railen(?)..... Tall, blond hair, and thin. Seems like a good guy. Great waiter for sure. He recommended a couple of items that turned out to be pretty good. We ordered the ahi tuna to share, and it did not disappoint! I ordered a salad which was also excellent. We both ordered the sous vide filet. I hadn't tried this before, and I was pretty happy with it. It was cooked perfectly, so tender, and it tasted very good. I can see me trying this again. The side was macaroni- possibly the best macaroni ever. We ordered crème brûlée for dessert. Very creamy, very pretty. I am very happy we came here, and I highly recommend it!

The two entrees we ordered for our preteens and it was also a generous portion but they finished it! Two adults ordered the filet steaks. Mine cooked medium was a bit dry. The other cooked medium rare was much juicier. So lean towards medium rare. The shape of the filet was wonky. I'm used to a firm tall filet. I think I saw these are cut in house? Maybe that's why it was wonky. It tasted good tons of grill/smoke flavor which I could have done at home. I don't usually order steak here and I probably won't again. But the sides are great- the green beans have brisket and bacon? Not sure but they were yummy. The baked potato only came with sour cream and cheese. Maybe butter too but it must have melted on the line. No bacon or chives... I was happy to share this restaurant with my family but note to self- try somewhere else next time in town. Ambiance was chill and it's nice that they close at 8:30. Keeps the trouble out. Our server wasn't the best but it looked like other tables had good service.

Nice lunch. Today…read morewas our first time at their new location. I really like the space. SO much bigger than their previous space. Four of us arrived at opening time (11 am) on a Wednesday. Our server, Kalee stopped by right away to greet us and take our drink orders. We spent some time catching up with our friends and Kalee gave us all the time we needed. We ordered the Tuscany Road Trip appetizer. It had a nice presentation and was real tasty. We all ordered our entrees and my wife and I had the following: Starters: - Caesar Salad - Texana Soup Entrees: - Beef Ravioli - Spaghetti Ragu with side of meatballs What did we think of the food? The presentations were top notch. The serving sizes were good. The Texana soup was nice but I'd like to see it have a bit more of a savory flavor. Maybe a bit of salted butter? For me personally, I'd add a bit of red pepper flake. The Caesar Salad was really nice. My wife said her Beef Ravioli was nice but she didn't expect it in a brown sauce. She said she likely missed that when reading the menu. The Spaghetti was okay. Nothing special in terms of the sauce flavor. I took half of it home. To take it up a level, I sautéed fresh chopped garlic in some olive oil with a bit of red pepper flake, the added the pasta and meatballs and simmer with the lid on. Turned out really nice. We shared a slice of Lemoncello cake for dessert. It was moist and real tasty. I want to call out the service here. It was excellent. Kalee was helpful with the menu, with our orders, with checking in on us. Overall great service. Though we thought our entrees were decent but could be improved, we liked the new space and service a lot, so we'll try other entrees at Zeno's down the line.
