Severely undercooked Kielbasa from the 3 Meat Plate. Rest of the meat was cold.

Just got my DoorDash order. Half of my food is missing and half of it is undercooked, cold, and inedible. Of course their phone number goes straight to voicemail. Wasted $55 and now I have no dinner at 8PM at night. Absolutely ridiculous. PS: I did what the "business owner" requested in response to my review and got an email back saying that I should take my complaint to DoorDash. Glad Dickey's only cares about their image and not their customers. Thanks for wasting my time yet again.

We stopped here today for dinner, not having any expectations. We were pleasantly surprised by everything - the food, service, and the dining room. We got the brisket sandwich plates which include two sides, and we each got a fountain drink. That came to about $38. Those sandwiches were very tasty and filling. The drinks are too big and too costly. The tab probably would have been just over $30 without the drinks. The person working the counter was very friendly and nice, brought the food out to the table when it was ready. The table where we sat was comfortable and clean, the place felt airy and bright.

    What I ordered.

We ordered beef brisket and got pot roast. Drink machine was down so they only had 3-4 options for pop. They filled the entire cup with crushed ice, the little bit of drink you did get was flat and watered down. The baked beans were basically mush. The roll was cold. 1 star because the potato salad was decent. Below is pics of their advert of what I thought we'd get versus what we got.

First off if your craving BBQ this is the spot. My son told me we had to go...who would turn down the offer of a good meal?mind you this place is over 40 min away so if he says let's go I knew it had to be something special We were warmly greeted You order you meal at the counter They have one of those coke freestyle machines. Love that you can mix your own concoctions like Vanilla Coke vanilla Dr Pepper there was even a holiday sprite drink Machine has all the coke product favorites Ok on to the food You have options of meats and sides I chose brisket with Mac and cheese plus creamed spinach. Sooo good Flavorful tender meat This is good solid comfort food. Cute little cornbread loaf was a perfect addition. We took a pecan pie slice home for later The place is spotless Mask wearing was clearly being practiced I will be back for more delicious food

I love BBQ!! I also love giving positive reviews but today is not the case. 1)To start unpacking the food the sides were small smaller then I expected for the prices. 2) I added cornbread and pickles expecting cornbread they made and a pickle what I got was 3 pickle slices and a premade and packaged corn bread! 4) then the BBQ no at all impressed with the flavor and why chicken wasn't cooked through yes it had blood on the inside I have photos if it allows me to add them!!

    The remains.

Yes it's a chain but the food is good, and this particular franchise is great. The owner served us today and she is super super nice. The food was very fresh, well-cooked. All the sides were wonderful. We got pulled pork sandwiches, creamed spinach, Mac and cheese, baked beans, slaw and potato salad. Having been to some BBQ joints in Kansas City, Nashville and South Carolina, this is a great place to get your BBQ fix if you can't go to your favorite BBQ states.

Sorry in advance because I didn't take photos. However, had a take out order of the picnic for 2 and added on 6 ribs. With tax and a $5 tip it was about $50. With the picnic for 2 they give you 1 lb of meat and let you split the available meats 50/50. I got pulled pork and brisket. The brisket is lean vs wet and had a peppery bark that will give you a little bit of a kick back. I prefer lean vs wet so I'm happy. You also get two large sides. I ordered the green beans and the Baked Potato casserole. The green beans were the flat kind ( not French style but the very wide from Grandma's garden style and also pretty peppery). I didn't care for them. The baked potato casserole was hot and the consistency of a thick mashed potato. We saved the leftovers of the potato casserole and threw away the green beans. Looking forward to trying more sides in the future. They also give you about 6 dinner rolls. They were pretty good. I would recommend asking for butter to go with them. My husband dipped his in the potato casserole......weirdo but he also dips his puffed Cheetos in ranch dressing. Guess we like our condiments. They also give you two containers of BBQ sauce with the picnic for 2. Options are Sweet, Original or Spicy. If I knew I was getting two separate containers I probably would have picked a spicy for my husband but I asked Original. Sauce was GOOD. I don't like my meat wet and pre sauced so this is right up my alley. Almost as good as Mission BBQ. Just missing the Alabama white sauce from Mission to compete. Or the wet option on the brisket for those who prefer that. We'll definitely be back. The service was phenomenal. I was the only patron at the time. The employee who helped me was so friendly and helpful. She walked me through the options since it was my first time and even learned a few details about my personal life. Felt like a little home town business who truly wants to get to know their patrons. Since we just moved here and don't have very many friends it was so kind and welcomed to chat so friendly with someone local. GREAT JOB DICKIE's! We'll see you again soon

Does some of the meat come sans-sauce? The kids can be picky. Ha ha.

Hi Eric, most of our meat come sans sauce. All sauce is on the side with the exception of the pork ribs, we do brush a light coat of our famous sauce on. For kids, 99% of our orders are usually the smoked chicken breast or the pulled pork, we… Read more

Everyone at the table loved what they ordered. We grabbed dessert to go, and I had the pecan pie, wow. Just incredible. Flavorful, juicy, and with a little char from being thrown back on the grill. Great fries too. Bbq baked beans were pretty good. Plenty of seating, inside and out. Real glassware and utensils, and of course a very "casual ambience" Service was ok. They were nice, busy, and slow to return for support, or order taking. Overall the food was just ok for me. For bbq, there was no smoke detected. No ring, no smoke flavor. Ribs were fall off the bone and moist. Pulled pork and brisket weren't dried out, just lacked flavor and I wasn't a fan of the sauces. Turkey was good. Pulled chicken was juicy with a heavy paprika flavor. Would I come back? Sure. A beer and that sausage, maybe with a side of baked beans or some fries!! An unsauced rack of ribs would do the trick too.

We were told it was going to be ready in 15/20 mins and as soon as we pulled up it was being bagged We got their alligator fritters, beef empanadas, gator tacos and an oreo cream funnel cake. Y'all everything was so good. My fiancée absolutely loved his gator fritters and devoured them. The beef empanadas were filled with beef, corn and cheese. They were so good and loved the seasoning on the empanada. The gator tacos were the perfect size, the gator had a nice crunch and the slaw added another level to the taco. The funnel cake hit the spot. Cannot wait to check out their new location when it opens and both of us agreed that we will be back.

Street parking available. This is more of a takeout place but there are tables inside. Now for the food! My coworker and I had chicken tacos, the gator po boy, and the chicken and funnel cake. The chicken tacos were on special for taco tuesday so they were $2 each which was a great price. They were filled with chicken and toppings but the meat was a little dry, and I think a sauce, like a chipotle mayo or something, could really make these pop! These were our least favorite part of lunch, but they were still good, I really liked the salsa. I used to work at a southern restaurant that served gator sandwiches, so I was super happy to see alligator on the menu! The gator po boy was delicious! It came with a spicy mayo. The gator bites were seasoned well and the bun was super soft and fresh. I wasn't crazy about the chips that came with it though. The chicken and funnel cake was the standout- think chicken and waffles but better! The chicken was awesome and the funnel cake was super sweet! I wish it came with like a spicy syrup or something. Nonetheless, everything was delicious and I will definitely be back, this is an awesome addition to downtown Washington!!!
