Loved the food! Mom had the patty melt, I had the grilled chicken sandwich. Melt in your mouth flavor. I'll definitely be back!! Great service Aliyah!!

Was craving a Dicks burger and patio time. We knew that new owners took over but according to CCX they were keeping the menu and adding options. That is not the case. Out favorite burger place is not a huge disappointment. All new staff (miss the familiar faces) we weren't asked how we wanted burgers cooked, didn't know the fries now come seasoned (not a fan) one of us ordered coleslaw and got fries. Waitress was too busy to fully listen to what we were asking for so had to wave her down as she was passing by dropping off the missed coleslaw. Burger under cooked and missing the way they once tasted. Added mushrooms were cold and from a can. Sad to have this be our last memory of this place - we do not plan on returning.

Dick's Bar & Grill is an older establishment in downtown Osseo. It's not frilly, fancy, or trendy, but you're going to get some good food for a good price when you come here. I love biking to Dick's in the summer and having a meal on their patio. It's got a nice small town, divey-but-not-junky feel to it. My favorite thing to get is the turkey hoagie. I have a very hard time finding a place that serves toasted sandwiches on hoagie buns anymore, and Dick's does exactly that. The cheese is perfectly melty and it's toasted just right! I also always get the Munchers as an appetizer. I've had a pizza and burgers here too, and they're definitely good. But the sandwiches really can't be beat. The one thing I wish was different was a little more variety when it comes to mixed drinks. They have a full bar but don't do things like chocolate martinis and mai tais when I've asked. If you're looking for drinks here, they've got the basics (gin & tonics, whiskey sour, rum and coke, etc.) but nothing really beyond that. There's a decent beer list for both bottles/cans and taps if you're a beer drinker and they have a few varieties of canned seltzers. Overall, Dick's has great food and a laid-back atmosphere. It's a great place to go for a no-fuss meal after work if you don't feel like cooking or enjoy a patio meal on a warm day. Stop on by if you find yourself in downtown Osseo, you won't be disappointed!

I've visited this downtown Osseo locals bar a few times and one thing I can say is it is always pretty consistent - not bad, not great either. The space itself isn't a "dive" but more just aged and dated with a fairly large dining area featuring a massive 7ft Hamm's Bear, Sascha, and decent sized L-shaped bar. Service is generally good and the bartenders/servers are attentive but more open and talkative with the regulars. Beer selection on tap and in bottles/cans is solid with a sea of the usual domestics as well as some local and national craft favorites. The food is mediocre. Shown in the pictures of this review is the "Real Billy Burger" which is a house specialty. 1/2 pound all beef burger topped with lettuce, tomato, onions, cheddar & monterrey jack cheeses, bacon and BBQ sauce. Not sure if the burger was hand pattied or just a frozen Sysco special, didn't have much flavor. BBQ sauce tasted like Sweet Baby Rays. Seems like a perfect burger for your dad or grandpa. I have also had the "homemade" pizzas which are clearly frozen but are always pretty dang good. Would definitely recommend the pizza over the burger.

It always seems like they're upset with us, but I don't think they actually are? I like the vibe of the place, and I love anywhere with a claw machine, kids seem to enjoy it too. The food is decent, pretty much what you would expect. I ordered the guac and roll burger, which was good but could use a little more flavor. Nothing to complain about though, just not as seasoned or spicy as I would've preferred. Overall, still a good experience, just a bit odd.

We were surprised to learn that they were hosting their Ugly Christmas Sweater Party that very day and we thought, "how fun!" Both of my parents actually had an Ugly Christmas Sweater on - what chances! I thought it was super disappointing that non of the employees were participating, nor did they recognize customers that were. Not much of a party if you ask me! The food was just okay, nothing to write home about. I tried a smash burger with waffle fries. I did appreciate that happy hour was offered 7 days a week. I had a strong, but good, tequila sour. My biggest reason for three stars is service. It was lackluster at best.

Plenty of seating although it seemed like a lot of the tables were very close to each other so not much privacy unless you are in a booth. Loved the individual bathroom stalls, very clean and private. The food was amazing!! We didn't know what to expect here but the food was cooked to perfection, shoutout to the chef for making the noodles Al dente, especially the rice noodles. Being Asian I know how hard it can be to get the right texture for rice noodles but they were perfect! Flavors were incredible. Portions were plentiful, we shared two entrees and two apps between 4 girls and we had leftovers and we were all starving too. Love the vibes here, definitely feels more upscale yet casual. Drinks looked really good too but we did not want to day drink this time.

We really wanted to give Grackle another chance, but after two visits, I don't think we'll be back…read more Our first visit was a few months after they opened. My husband and I brought our two young kids on a random afternoon around 2-3pm. We weren't dressed up, but we weren't dressed inappropriately or overly casual either. The service was honestly some of the worst we've experienced -- lots of attitude, and we left feeling like we weren't exactly the type of guests they wanted there. Keot walking past us when we would call someon they wouldnt come. The food was mediocre and so unmemorable that, a year or so later, I couldn't even tell you what we ordered. The one thing we did enjoy was trying the different sauces. Enough time had passed that we decided to give it another shot. This time we went around 4pm on a Thursday and dressed up a little more. Right away, the host seemed annoyed that we didn't have a reservation, even though it was early and there were still plenty of empty tables. It was an odd way to start the experience. Thankfully, our server this time was wonderful friendly, helpful, and a complete change from our first visit. The food runners were also attentive. Unfortunately, the food itself was the biggest disappointment. The gochujang wings barely tasted like gochujang. There were so many other flavors going on that the gochujang seemed completely masked, and the wings weren't crispy at all. One of the kids' chicken tenders came out cut in half, which I'm assuming was to check that it was cooked through. Not necessarily a huge deal, but it was strange presentation. My husband and I both ordered the Caribbean chicken sandwich, and neither of us enjoyed it. It was dry, didn't have nearly enough sauce, and the pieces of slaw were way too large for the sandwich. I paid for extra sauces that never came, and my husband received the wrong sauce. The fries were good, and the service at the table was much better this time, but that was about it. After two visits at very different times, we've had essentially the same takeaway: Grackle has a cool concept and the sauces are fun, but the food just hasn't lived up to what we expected for the price. Our second experience also confirmed that our disappointing first visit wasn't just opening-month growing pains. I really wanted to like this place, especially enough to come back after a poor first experience, but unfortunately two tries was enough for us.

The dark wood tones and dim lighting is very cozy. There is a nice patio just off the parking lot but it was a bit drizzly so we elected to sit inside. The bar looked like a great place to sit and dine but we were grabbing lunch so decided to sit in one of the booths. The booths are all divided by glass and plants which makes for a quiet and private dining experience. Our server Courtney was pleasant and attentive. I like the menu as it didn't have a huge selection. Simple and a nice variety of apps, salads and entrees. My husband and I both ordered the Filet Mignon Cobb salad. $26. Bacon, egg, blue cheese crumble, corn, tomato, red onion, smoked onion ranch dressing. We both thought it was refreshing and tasty. The smoked onion ranch was delicious. If we are ever in the area, we will stop in and check out the dinner entrees.
