    My husband and I went into DICK'S Sporting Goods to see if we could find any deals. It was our first time there, so we walked around the whole store to get the layout. We found a green Saint Patrick's Day hoodie and t-shirt on sale for over 50%off. Green is my favorite color, so I was pretty happy with the selection. I will be super stylish next March. Bargains are hard to find but worth searching for. The cashier was very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this DICK'S Sporting Goods!

    Wasted an hour of my life in traffic (and a $6 parking fee) to arrive here and see that their "New Hours" means the store closes at 8 instead of 9 PM Maybe update that information online as well.

    I was really happy to come here! The customer service was stellar! I was looking for Adidas Workout Pants. The sales representative actually walked me over to the section!!!! I would like to go back and explore more of their offerings as it is a huge store and I had very little time. They do offer "officially licensed" Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs shirts, hats, socks, water bottles, blankets, etc. at what appears to be a reasonable prices and there is quite a plethora of styles and options! The checkout line moved quickly and each team member was friendly, welcoming, efficient, knowledgeable and professional. Thank You!

    Changing rooms were filthy

    Went in the dressing room and it was filthy. Like dust bunnies and dirt that was so bad it had not been cleaned in some time. The shoe department only had one person working who was not very knowledgeable. Took forever just to get them to bring me shoes to try on. Overall I was not impressed.

    Here is the history of Dicks beginning as a tackle shop. The sad thing is that they carry no fishing products at all now.

    As you walk into this location there is a big sign talking about the history of dicks and how they began as a fishing store way back when. It's pretty depressing that they carry no fishing supplies at all! Not even a child's pole. The joke is on me. This store it terrible. They carry the lowest quality lines of all your favorite products. Junk from corner to corner. Golf must be huge with chicago's populous as that's about all they have, the lowest quality products related to golf and nothing more. Need sweat pants? That's great we have the lowest line covered there too. Save money, shop online, the future of commerce is online and dicks is on its way out of this world. What a disgrace to the legacy that created this store to begin with.

So yes, I have taken a full and complete look at this business and my experiences with it and simply had a different experience than others. I took lessons here awhile back and have recently been taking lessons at a different business recently. The lessons at My Chicago Golf started out well. Marcus was attentive and was able to make a difference in my game. Things were going well. That is, until, he slept through one of our scheduled appointments. His system sends out numerous reminders about upcoming appointments to customers. Unfortunately, it seems that it only sends them out to his customers, and not to him. We had an appointment scheduled, and I showed up fifteen minutes early. His storefront was locked, and knocking and ringing the doorbell did not yield any type of response. Unfortunately, emailing, texting, and leaving voicemails also did not make a difference either as they all went unanswered. After waiting about forty-five minutes for a sixty minute lesson, he finally opened the door. At that time, however, the customer for the next hour was already waiting at the door! That customer was courteous enough to let me use his scheduled hour, and he rescheduled with Marcus. As the lesson went on, Marcus did apologize for sleeping through it. He said that he overscheduled himself that morning, which caused him to oversleep during a nap. He was definitely drowsy throughout the appointment, and wasn't entirely alert or focused on my swing. What disappointed me the most, however, was that he didn't take responsibility for his mishap. Mistakes happen to everyone. Apologizing is only the first step in taking responsibility for those mistakes. He didn't offer an extra free lesson or a refund, or anything for that matter, to make up for his major mistake. This last part that is why he is losing two stars. If he would have taken responsibility for his failures, I wouldn't be as disappointed with him. I even would have used the final lessons I had in the package I purchased. Instead, I let them go unused because I was so let down by him. Missing an appointment completely without notice and/or an acceptable reason is a huge negative and a large problem. These lessons are not cheap. What's even worse is not taking responsibility for it. Mistakes can be overlooked, if the person making those mistakes owns up to them and takes responsibility. Unfortunately that didn't happen here.

    Marcus, the owner, has been a fantastic coach so far. He's very charismatic and patient when…read moreexplaining and demonstrating any feedback. As someone who is just getting started golfing, he has really stressed the fundamentals while still pushing me to get to a point where I have the necessary skills to be able to practice and grow independently. The difference I see after each lesson is measurable and I've always left with things to practice (with videos demonstrating the exercise) so I can continue to see growth. Additionally, his location is a fantastic setup with some of the newest golf simulator technology to really enhance the lesson experience. I did a fair amount of research on different golf instructors and facilities in Chicago and am thrilled I landed on My Chicago Golf. I can't recommend Marcus and My Chicago Golf enough.

Any other club fitter would have told me to drop off my club and come back in a week. Not this location. This isn't my first visit at this location, I have always been impressed with all of them being so polite and professional in the way they have always treated me. Why anybody would go elsewhere for new clubs or repairs is beyond me, I've gone to the big box stores and believe me, they don't hold a candle for service or professionalism. All I can say is this, if anybody is looking for golf clubs or repairs and most importantly, talk to a professional that knows what they're talking about the Schaumburg office is the place to go.     After completing my driver fitting, I took home my quote to think about it. The following week I…read morereached out to my fitter for a couple questions. I never heard back until I reached back out 4 days later. I then reached back out a few days later to move forward with my fitting and I again didn't hear back from anyone for a week. I called again to communicate my frustrations at this point, and my fitter was not available so someone took a message and said I would get a call back the next day. Still nothing as I write this. I find it very perplexing that I can't give my money away. In addition to all this, I was sent an email from club champion to activate my account online. When I tried doing that, I kept getting an error and I reached out to Club Champion at info@clubchampiongolf.com and no one responded. On top of all this, I also had dropped off a club to repair during my driver fitting and was told it would be done in 48 hours. I never got a call back about it and when I called 4 days later to get it back, I was told it would be done that day which means it would not have been done had I never called. All in all, I've spent close to $5000 in fitting with club champion and unfortunately, I don't think I could go back again knowing these experiences and would take my money to the PGA Superstore.

I took one lesson recently saying i wanted some coaching on how to improve a certain area of my game but with back issues NOT a full rebuild. I was not able to hit the ball the way he recommended with my back issues and the muscle memory of my current swing. By the end of the lesson i was saying i just can't make that move and he was recommending more lessons to fix. I got zero out of this lesson other than less confidence. I understand it's a business but this was the opposite of what i asked for. In short i walked out pretty discouraged on my swing overall. I played a 15 handicap last year and play about 2/week for reference.
