This particular location deserves no stars. The associate refuse to give her name. I order shoes online for a family member to pick up. He visited the store today 8-15-2025 @ 10:30am. The associate did not want to do an price adjustment, stating my charge was pending and they did not submit the payment. I guess she work for the bank, I told her via speaker phone the payment was made. I was at work and could not go back and forth. So I had to purchase the shoes again. Instead of her just doing a price adjustment for $10 more, she did not. I had my family to get the corporate number and her name... she gave him the telephone number but refuse to give her name. Luckily, her associate number is on the receipt. I called corporate and they apologize and said she did not do her job, and it would take 5 to 7 business days to see a refund. At this point that is not acceptable, I request to speak to a supervisor, the rep stated they would call back. While waiting for the customer service supervisor to call back, I called the store and ask to speak to supervisor, apparently this is the same associate that was a the register when my family pick up the shoes. She paused and stated "I'm the manager" "may I have your name", another pause " I'm the manager may I help you", " may I have your name so I can address you properly" another pause, and then she stated " the manager will be here in 2 to 3 hours". I spoke with customer supervisor and explained what had just happen when I called the store. She transferred the complaint to the district manager. So unprofessional, and training is needed. read more

I've always had good experiences here, but just had the worst experience with assistant manager Kristina. She asked the person in front of me for their phone number and he declined, then when it was my turn I declined also. It was at that moment that another assistant manager named Ashley walked up to the register next to her and they proceeded to have a conversation as if customers weren't right there. The first thing she said to her was, verbatim, "that's the 2nd one in a row" then rolled her eyes. When my receipt printed, she just threw it on the counter; didn't hand it to me or anything NOR did she hand me the box or put it in a bag. Then my boyfriend was next and he gave his phone number since he shops there often, then she said verbatim, "she could've used your rewards. You're missing out on points and messing up my numbers." My response was a sarcastic laugh, to which her response was "anyways." My boyfriend placed an order to pick up in store and she just handed him the receipt without telling him how many days shipment would take, nothing. Absolutely disgusting, unprofessional behavior. I came in the other day to buy a pair of steel toe shoes. Right when I got in I was immediately greeted by a customer service rep who led me to their selection of steel toed shoes without hassle. I wish they had more variety (they only had 1-2 brands of steel toed shoes and maybe 2-3 brands of steel toed boots), but the ones I got are really nice so no biggie. Located in a decent-sized shopping center, I was surprised by the convenience of it: right off 90/94, East onto Fullerton, over the river & voila! I placed an order online and didn't realize I had chosen in store pick up. Things happen for a reason. I drove almost an hour to get here, which was fine. I arrived and despite the downpour outside, it was a bit busy. The employee I encountered, Angela, was very pleasan and assured me she'd be with me shortly. I won't make this too lengthy but let me just say that in the short time I was there, I observed Angela display so much tact and grace and kindness! I mean she was just a sweetheart. I had told her that my mom had been sick and she was just so compassionate. She was truly what I needed in that moment! I'm tearing up as I'm writing this. I really appreciate her and others like her and wanted to write this review to "give her her flowers while she's here". Thank you Angela! I have no complaints. I abhor clothing and shoe stores of any kind, and will not venture in one unless forced to under exigent circumstances. This is one of them. My former work/snow boots started leaking, and my 5 year old Adidas sneakers developed several holes on the bottom side which causes water and slush to enter into the sole. Needless to say, I was not pleased. After doing some online comparison shopping between Target, Sears, Payless, DSW and Famous Footwear, I finally decided on the Columbia Bugalution WP. Seemed promising. Famous was charging less than the other vendors. This location was the only one in the city that had it, and only one pair was in stock. I called the store and had them hold it for me. The salesperson did so without any complaints. The store is nicely laid out and average sized - bigger than Payless and maybe a little smaller than the DSW on Belmont and Clark. The boots were waiting for me at the desk, and after verifying that they fit and felt comfortable, I paid and was out in less than ten minutes. Good prices and a non-irritating experience. read more

Store is clean and well organized. People working there are professionally talkative. Willing to help choose. First time I went here I brought a big party and we bought more that 20 pairs of shoes. I was supposed to get a card with points ECT. Left my email and everything. Second time I brought a smaller party and we bought 4 pairs. Nowhere in the computer could they find my emails and no discount! We still nought. But. One pair consisted of 2 same side left shoes. My friend had to travel back home and they left me in charge to return it. Since it was part of buy one get the other half price they proceeded to charge me full price for the other one and did not take any responsibility for their mistake. We lost. I am completely upset with the service I received from the manager at this location. Mr. Rodriguez would not honor a pricing difference that was misplaced on a product. In customer service the customer "is always right" but with him it was definitely not the case. He proceeded in a condescending manner to basically tell me that he will not honor the price and his attitude was not called for. All he offered was 10 dollars off which was a far fetch from the amazing price I though these shoes had. Even walking into the store I over heard him using vulgar language with a fellow associate in a joking manner and leaning over displays instead of checking prices so to avoid situations like this. I will never shop at a famous footwear because if these are the kind of employees they hire as managers it doesn't say much for the company. Even calling the corporate line they only offered me a 20% off to remedy the situation, which to me was like a slap in the face.
