Went for cold weather gloves and socks. They did not disappoint, many many many different types of gloves and sizes. I ended up getting a glove liner for my actual gloves and it worked out well. The cold weather sock selection could be better but what I got worked well enough. I was looking for an extreme cold sock but could not find one. No one spoke but I didnt expect it either. They had the product for the price I expected. I was helped by a very nice, knowledgeable and personable man. I would give him a 5 star rating. The check-out was less than pleasant. The check-out staff spoke very quickly and was difficult to understand. I asked him to repeat a couple of times and then asked if he would speak slower as I was having difficulty understanding him. When we left, in a very exaggerated low and slow voice - think recording at a slow speed - he thanked us with the standard "Dick's farewell" line. I felt that was a rude response to a legiment request. I would give him a 1 star rating. Since it was the last impression as I left the store, it carries more weight. read more

Since Dick's went woke and stopped selling guns and ammo, i haven't spent a dime there since. This used to be a pretty good place to go with reasonable prices, but now i hope they go out of business soon read more

I tried letting this go but it really has gotten me pissed. My husband was looking for a new coat. We were up there visiting Jan 12 this year and thought to swing into Dicks. Not shopping at dicks previously short of looking for softball gear, was unsure of the layout. So seaking help to guide us in the right direction i noticed a young lady working with product in her arms, I asked, "where are your men's coats?" She kind of giggled and said, "there are some here and there." then proceeds to say, "But they are name brand you know?" I'm thinking umm ok. said "thanks" and she kept walking. THis has really gotten to me. Why would she say that to me? Why would you not try to sell me a coat. We found one he liked, which was in fact name brand. It is a great coat. great quality and the gentleman who checked us out did great. But the attitude of the young girl on the floor was rude and it has just stayed with me! She would be the reason i do not return. read more

Return policy on many items won't be accepted even with receipt and a purchase from two weeks ago. Purchased a 240$ bay and it broke on the first day of varsity tryouts. They basically said oh we'll take it up with the manufacture. read more

The employees that helped me were excellent. One of them, Nathaniel, was extremely friendly and made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. Dick's is always a little on the expensive side, but the selection and quality of everything in the store makes it my favorite place to go for sporting goods. read more

Well, I am sooo glad that Dick's Sporting Goods was able to help us with fishing licenses. They were so good to get them to both non-resident and resident licenses. Also, we needed to find a grocery store and the clerk stepped out to show us how to get to Cub Foods. read more

This store is pretty much worthless if you're an actual sports-person who fishes and hunts. It's pretty much just a clothing store for people who like to dress like they do outdoor activities. The store is staffed by millennials that have no knowledge of the sports they are seemingly selling clothing and equipment for. They have myriad signs indicating they don't sell guns but none indicating that they have nobody in the store that knows how to operate the machine that issues hunting/fishing licenses. So you'll end up standing in line 20 minutes to find that out. Save yourself the headache and just go to Fleet Farm. I wish I'd gone there first. It was entirely a better experience. read more

In my home town we don't have one of these although we do have several other stores that carry mostly the same stuff and my boyfriend and I prefer Dicks over any of them. Poor customer service in the golf section. He was a tall heavy blonde guy that just stared us down and didn't offer any help! I was interested in a golf bag and a new driver but will go to Golf Galaxy instead. Hope this guy gets better training! I also was told I would be contacted by the store manager in 24 to 48 hours and that was a week ago! Not a place I will shop again! read more

The staff is nice. However, we have had bad experience. One life vest and a hatchet were tagged with the wrong price. The cashiers were nice enough to fix the mistakes. But what was the worst is the fact they had a kayak tagged wrong. They would not honor the price and they weren't so nice to my husband. I am leery about buying anything from this store in the future if they are this shoddy with the tags. How can I trust the tags now? read more

The employees were incredibly friendly. The one issue I have is that a lot of the hardlines items are not priced. I had to have an employee walk with me and call in price checks. If you are going to put something on an endcap to display it for sales, than label the shelves with a price or put a price on the item. The area I was trying to shop was the tent area. Even some of the items on the side counters had no labels on the shelves and the item had no price tag. This is basic retail knowledge. I have to say though. When purchasing my tent, the employee was courteous and friendly. read more

Store was very messy. Went to check out while it was busy they only had one cashier. Employees were great and very helpful but the speed of service was lacking and as previously stated, everything was askew and difficult to locate. I am unlikely to return and will continue to do my sporting goods shopping elsewhere until management makes some serious improvements. read more
