All of the goods I browsed look very high-quality (and pretty expensive), so they are marketed more to the serious backcountry campers than the RV and state park campers. Gear Up also sells a number of survivalist books, many of which are about self-defense. After skimming through a few volumes, I realized the target audience is a bit paranoid and a bit practical--folks who want to know how to kill someone with their bare hands (theoretically, I hope). It's all kind of expensive to me but honestly, I'm not an outdoorsman but my wife was looking for a jacket as a gift. Then they even have your tools, knives, navigation, first aid, and much much more!!! Did I mention they do in house handmade paracord items. ITEMS not just bracelets!
