We always enjoy their waterfall/mountain display or taxidermy animals and the live fresh water fish aquarium. It's a great place to go with kids. This year we tried the mini donuts that were for sale in a food truck by the entrance. Yum! They were so light and fluffy.

I didn't look past their fishing department but the store is huge and well stocked probably the most well stocked outdoor store in the Twin Cities. In fact you may be overwhelmed. The trip takes about 2 hours if the river is flowing fast but in Aug 2021, the river was super low and they said that it was taking folks 3-5 hours. You leave your car at the take-out and they shuttle you up. I only had 2 hours. I called and they left a kayak out for me at the Dundas take-out. In the morning, I paddled up river to the Cannon River Wilderness Area (I'd guess 2 miles) and then paddled back to the take-out. It was really pretty. It is all trees along this section of river. I saw lots of birds. I think the part in the wilderness area is even nicer so do the 7-mi trip if you have time. If you do the trip when the river is low, make sure to take shoes for walking in the river. You'll need to get out and drag the boat sometimes. So like tennis shoes not flip flops. The owner was super nice and helpful on the phone.

The snowshoe hike was moved near Northfield, MN and alot more hills and climbing than expected. However, we did get a great view of the ice caves. Also, the sandwiches and soup was delicious. At the end, we had a nice winetasting before heading back home. Our guides were the best and made everyone felt at ease without pushing too hard.

They gave a great selection of shoes, sneakers, sandals...I ended up buying a pair of Birkenstocks. Gotta get ready for that summer season! They also have a HUGE selection of one of my favorite brands...Vuori. It's massive and that jeans I don't have to go all the way to Bloomington to shop for Vuori. The associates were extremely friendly and helpful. I also bought a pair of Vuori comfy leisure wear pants for my hubby. Definitely will be back!

I was able to easily get in touch with customer service and get offered a replacement. I haven't returned my board yet, but I am relieved that they have immediate customer service given that their reviews are negative. I became nervous but the initial email I received, didn't have any link to cancel order. On 12/22/2022, I received this package. I opened the package and to my surprise, I received the items I ordered 3 days prior. And I paid $0 for shipping, I totally didn't expect to get the items this early. Only 3 days after my order. There was no packing slip, I still don't know what would happen if I were to return it. But I'm gonna keep the items. I got 600 down filled Columbia jacket for my hubby for a great price.
