The service was horrible across the board. There was no warmth and everyone acted like we were disturbing them. Then when we went to pay, a woman ignored us at the cash register while she talked to a fellow employee. No acknowledgment despite obviously seeing us. Eventually she started to check us out and stopped halfway through and said someone else would check us out. The person who eventually checked us out had been standing there idle the entire time. He ignored us. Finally, we had to bring back the shoes we purchased because of a problem with them and they refused to take them back. I understand there is a reluctance to take back shoes that have been worn (very briefly) on concrete (not dirt) but they quickly got angry and were not kind. This was the same guy, by the way, who ignored us talking to the attractive woman when we bought the shoes. Please know this review apples specifically to the Roseville store. We later went to the store in Coon Rapids, returned the same shoes WITHOUT QUESTION, and treated us with kindness and great customer service.

My husband asked since when? We had been in at Christmas and my son had tried on a different pair when it was more obvious he was with us. The clerk claimed it has always been their policy. This is not okay, we told the clerk that walked out and purchased the exact same shoes at Footlocker where there was no issue with allowing someone to try on a PAIR of shoes. We've spent tons of money over the years at Champs and I will never darken their door again. Racist fools!

She's the store that Lulu wishes it could be if it actually had some, I don't know? Customer service skills and class? This Lucy store is very well organized. I've never seen the clothes out of order or in disarray when I have visited. Also, the sales rack is always in great shape too. The ladies who work here are very nice and courteous. They ask if they can help you, but aren't all up in your face trying to sell you leggings or watching you as if you are going to steal their merch. The ladies are all ages too- young and old. I, personally, like the diversity in age. I've bought a few things in this store like a pair of leggings and a headband. It isn't as well stocked as its Edina counterpart and isn't as big, but it is still very nice place to shop for Lucy.

We got some great stuff, and all of it was for an additional 30% off the sale price! We bought a hat, two hoodies, and a vintage print t-shirt. We looked great at the game, and didn't have to spend a lot of money. Too bad the Twins lost. They're the official store for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers, but they've got all kinds of Vikings, Twins, Wild, North Stars and St. Paul Saints clothing and collectibles there too.

I brought my daughter here for a little shopping trip, we looked at clothing then moved on to…read morebikes. Her birthday was coming up and I wanted to get her a strider bike. I had her stand on one to check out some measurements. The bikes weren't put away, they were just stacked by boxes in the corner. My daughter stood on one for a minute--I was standing right by her and giving her my undivided attention. At this moment, an employee (older man, white hair) walked by us and rudely said "no riding in the store." And kept walking. Not "can I help fit you for a bike?" Or "can I help you find the right kind of bike?" Not even a "please". I don't expect everyone to adore my kids, but I do expect people to be respectful to them and them to be respectful to others. REI will never get a single dime from me again. This is the second time I've had an unsavory experience with the same employee. I don't understand how it can be difficult to treat people nicely, I can find much better customer service and better prices at Target.

We always enjoy their waterfall/mountain display or taxidermy animals and the live fresh water fish aquarium. It's a great place to go with kids. This year we tried the mini donuts that were for sale in a food truck by the entrance. Yum! They were so light and fluffy.
