Hubby & I had dinner here tonight. We were greeted & seated right away. The hostess was not very friendly. She took us to a table, laid down the menus & walked away. No conversation, no your server will be right with you, nothing. Our server came over in a reasonable amount of time. She was friendly, & very inattentive. She came & checked on us after we received our drinks, appetizers & food. Hubby ordered his favorite beer on draft with a lime. I ordered a Tito's & cranberry tall. Both were very good. She brought us out waters when she came to the table the first time. We ordered the pretzel, 2 sliders, onion rings & the country fried steak dinner. The pretzel was so good. Probably the best we have had. It comes with cheese sauce & another sauce that is a honey mustard sauce. Both sauces were so good, Hubby got an American slider, jalapeño slider & an order of onion rings. All of which were good. The onion rings were very good. They were crispy & cooked perfectly. They were not greasy at all. My country fried steak was so good. It was crispy, tender. The mashed potatoes were so good. The corn was like nothing I've ever had. Took the wife out for dinner and drinks. I got a little worried when we walked in as the hostess was very "Lack Luster" she literally seemed to be bothered to ask us how many and find us a table. But our waitress made up for it as she was top notch! Took our drink order, suggested an app and then followed up with our dinner order she was an outstanding waitress and the food and drinks great! Lucky I'm not the manager because that hostess would be out on the street in 2 minutes being the initial face of the restaurant! Band was good and we had a great time. read more

Fast-forward to now: I'd already had a few, my friends bailed, I couldn't drive, so I figured why not make the most of it. I walked past Dierks and saw a LINE outside, like it was a Vegas nightclub. I couldn't wrap my head around it. So I ask the doorman, "Why is there a line?" His answer: "Because it is a club." Sir. I am a 40-year-old lady. I do not want to go to a "club." But it's almost closing, so I try to sweet-talk my way in. No luck. He sends me to the end of the line. Fine. I made friends, struck a deal with one of the kids in line, held up my end, and sure enough... I was inside within 10 minutes. And holy heck... it was a PARTY. Music was on point, there were pitchers of water everywhere (thank you, lifesaver), and I was instantly in the middle of the dance floor. I hadn't danced in forever, and suddenly I was dancing with a kid literally my son's age. He asked me something, and I was like: "No, no, no. I have a child your age. I have a child your age." And then I just kept dancing because I was having the time of my life. I only had one beer inside (because let's be honest, I was already done but they had Banquet!), the vibe was electric. I talked to everyone, young, old, whoever, and I left sweaty, happy, and still laughing at myself. I would go back a bazillion times over. Stopped by here after brunch with the girls and had a good time. It was fourth of July weekend so we were surprised at how dead all of downtown gilbert was but our experience was still pretty nice. We all got one drink and had no complaints about it. We sat at their bar for a bit then went down to their lounge area where they had mists and fans... Thank goodness! It was nice getting to sit and listen to to a live country artist with an amazing voice! Came here on a Monday mostly because friends were leaving that day and wanted to hit a restaurant before getting on a plane. Gotta say, I wasn't disappointed. I got the whiskey burger and it's pretty substantial. You get a decent amount of fries and they are nice & crispy. Our server was attentive but again there's not a lot of people there on a Monday afternoon. There's country music playing (mostly Dierks Bentley) and there's a Harley on display in the restaurant. As we were party of 11, we rather wanted to dine faster, so it was a surprise to find this place empty regardless such a spacey dining room. I did feel like because my husband and I were there together they rarely checked up on us so we had to flag someone down (we were sitting at the bar) but it seemed the single guys next to us got a lot of attention. It's going to be a fun time for everyone with the option to rent out couches for a little bit of escape from the rambunctiousness. They are not advertising fine dining. I recommend the Whiskey and Tenn Hot. Giant Pretzel - 4/5 - $8 - HUGE pretzel. Great snack when drinking Apple of My Eye - (4/5) - Beverage made with Crown Apple. $7 during Happy Hour. Not very strong Same Ol' Fashioned - (5/5) - Made with Maker's Mark. Cannot complain when it is also $7 during Happy Hour. Overall, I really enjoyed this place. We stopped by while we were in town, and I ordered the fish and chips. The coleslaw had a spicy kick--I'm not sure what was in it, but it made my tongue sting. I finished one piece of the fish, which was pretty salty, and the fries were crispy and tasty. But after the coleslaw, my mouth was still burning, so I only ate a few fries and didn't touch the second piece of fish. On a brighter note, the music was really good! The musician played a couple of my favorite songs, which made the atmosphere really enjoyable. Fries were better than the swanky restaurant I ate at a week ago. Cooked to perfection crispy & not greasy... Very tasty & loved the macaroni & cheese. Got to give a shout out to Sarah the waitress... Very friendly... With a great & welcoming smile.. It's a big place with parking in the back. It was pretty empty on a Wednesday night. Great vibe and music, but the staff killed it We went to Whiskey Row on New Year's Eve and I really wanted to love it because parts of the night were genuinely fun. The good: drink prices were decent for NYE, the decor is awesome, and the bathrooms were clean. Shoutout to the bathroom attendant who was very kind. The band was amazing and the DJ was pretty good too, so the entertainment absolutely delivered. The bad: most of the staff we interacted with was flat-out rude, and the seating situation was a mess. When we arrived, we were told the bar was open seating. We sat at a table that did not have a reserved sign, and a waitress walked up and said, "Who said you can sit here?" We explained what we were told, and she said, "Well this is getting cleaned and you can't sit here." The problem was there was basically nowhere else to sit because most tables were reserved for bottle service. What made it even more frustrating is that during the three hours we were there, most of those tables stayed completely empty. It felt like if you weren't buying bottle service, they didn't want to deal with you. Between the attitude and the wasted seating, it put a huge damper on the night. I'd try other places before coming back. Very disappointed. read more

Right off the strip for downtown Gilbert is this lively restaurant, they are very welcoming and greet you immediately! The vibe in whiskey row is one of its own! TVs for the football games, great music and just all around great feel in here! We ordered the 10hour brisket and fries absolutely mouth watering with all the toppings and you're tender the brisket is I would have to say this was the favorite, we also had hamburger and the chicken and waffles along with a couple Scottsdale blonde beers, some great tea and sodas! We love coming here for Happy Hour with our in-laws. The Tennessee Hot sliders are so good. I also like their simple side salad. Ranch dressing seems homemade and really good. They have live music that is super nice to enjoy while visiting and munching. Their margs are deeeelish! read more
