The new location is great. Spacious with plenty TV's, a nice bar top area, plenty of tables a massive patio two pool tables and a small stage for live music. The Bartender B is fast friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of food options mostly just Fried Food after 9pm. I am a longtime fan and customer from the old location and I can honestly say everything is better here. My one gripe is it's 11 miles one way from my house. That being said I'm still gonna swing by on a regular basis. Cheers to a great upgrade to an already really good sports bar. read more

Waited 45 minutes for an order of wings 20 minutes of that was because they couldn't place an order because they're register was down so I guess they can no longer take manual orders and turn them in and then as she's bringing out my order, the waitress informs me that they're out of ranch dressing. How does a restaurant run out of ranch dressing? I will never ever step foot in that place again horrible service. read more

Not a real Philly Cheese Stack. The meat was good but, there needs to be bell pepper on it to be a real Philly Cheese Stack. Don't order the Potato Salad, had an after taste. This bar is insane. I go here often, at different times. I have stopped in during my lunch and I go in the evenings as well. The day girls are great. However, the owner--I think it is the owner--can be heard from the kitchen screaming at the manager/girlfriend. It makes it so uncomfortable in there. Came over here to hangout with one of my friends. The bar looked very clean and spacious, had a big tv near the door w sports on. It was Tuesday so only like 4 people were in there which for us was great. The bartender was a very sweet girl and served us quickly n kept tabs on us which was nice. They do have a digital jukebox but unfortunately I couldnt use my TouchTunes or AMI app to select songs which was unfortunate. They don't serve food but I noticed you could bring your own in which is totally fine lol. We'd definitely go back. read more

Ive stopped in a few times this week and each time I order the same beer, however each visit I'm charged something different despite no happy hour here. I dropped in yesterday around 430pm and had one single draft dos equis and it was $10, a price raise since the day before, something is off here. We stopped here for a late appetizer, the waitress got into a hand to hand combat with regular customer. He simply asked if his wings were coming and she went off on him. So much, that she grabbed his drink and informed him that his wings were ready but he wasn't going to get them. She proceeded to tell him to get out. I feel the customer held his cool and ground. We had been told that the food at this sports bar was good. We decided to give it a try on a Sunday afternoon. The order was for pizza and chicken wings. My husband had the pepperoni pizza and I had the teriyaki chicken wings. They were both good choices. Even the server was good. The only complaint we had is that it was pretty noisy but that's fairly normal for a sports bar. We would definitely go again. read more

I'm not much of a dive bar person. However, the place is rather interesting. It has that "old bar" feel where people come there to just relax. Heck, you can even chat with the bartender - try that in Scottsdale! There was even a chick that was there at the bar reading a book. Talk about chill. Is this a place I'd go out of my way to attend? I was actually confused at the bill. three drinks and my bill was like $8. $8 for three drinks... which in comparison would probably barely buy me one drink in Scottsdale. We were in town for our annual Spring training trip and stopped by this dive bar late night. Tables were far enough apart to feel safe. The server/cook/everything person was Summer and she was a delight! She should get a raise. :) Food was pretty good (it's bar food). Got the thin crust cheese pizza. It was really cheesy. It's a decent size, 2 could eat it. Do note the late night menu is limited (no steak or mac n cheese balls). Tell Summer you heard she was the best! read more

Located right near the Eba tea corner in WakiWaki on Broadway (near Palo Verde for you lushes), Tailgates is kind of a dude bar...but with real darts and the best BuckHunter arcade game YET. I learned about this place since a friend started picking up some bartending shifts and invited us to place darts. I use to love to play darts back in Boston, but most dart boards out here are those terrible electronic ones (ICK) or in the worst place in the bar...or simple just one (A-hem, Casey's). So I was stoked to see four real dartboards (they have dartboard champion nights here), but the real beauty was the ULTIMATE BuckHunt game with all kinds of new exotic animals to "Lets Go A-Huntin'" (did I mention I am vegetarian?-but can't resist a bright orange plastic rifle?). The bar is located back near the joint, straightforward sports like bar, a little dirty, not a place to bring guys in nice polos, but they do have decent beers on tap for pitchers, and they just added Stella on tap, always nice option. There is a smoking lounge off to the side of the bar and you can go outside w/your beverage and have a ciggie if so desired. I believe there is food here, but I come here pretty late at night so don't have the pleasure to recommend anything. As a note, besides the bartender, I have usually been the only woman in this bar. In fact, I only come here with my Mr. Mustachio. I wouldn't really recommend a woman to come here alone or to have a lady's night outing here b/c you are about to enter the man cave of TVs, beer, darts and games-I am sure the guys would swarm you (and your ladies) just to have a lady to hit on. You have been warned! Easy parking (and easy bike riding for me) makes it a nice little quick stop when I don't feel like dropping money at Boulder's for their premium brew or getting slushed on PVs Big Gulps of wells. read more

So who knew there was such a thing as a toast bar? Well, Tailgate has some mighty nice white bread available and toaster right beside it for Sunday morning football. Very good service here on a Sunday morning, and the food was good. Not over the top great, but solid for our party of nine. Stopped here to kill time and watch football before catching a flight. The bartender (female, but I don't remember her name) was very helpful and suggested a drink for me (I'm not a beer lover), which was delicious. It was composed of red wine, blackberry vodka, and fruit juices, so it was similar to a sangria with a little extra kick. I've been coming here for close to a year and tonight had the worst experience from Summer (who is a bar tender) who told me to never come in again on her shift. She didn't serve me a drink and said I "especially stiffed her" and told the person who I was with to never come in again although she served him one drink and was mad over a 10 percent tip instead of a 20 percent tip. If I was any person in the college town area take your money elsewhere. You'll probably find better servers than summer. read more

They have well priced, ice cold beer, a solid food selection, great service, and relaxing bar to sit and relax. For the most part, the crowd is fun and friendly. This place was awesome. We flew in to Phoenix late last night from Florida and our internal clocks were a mess. We woke up at 6:30 AM. We tried to relax in our hotel (since we arrived so late, we stayed near the airport, but our real destination was Tempe). Anyway, we tried to relax, but our lousy hotel only had like channels - 2 of which were ads for other channels, 1 which was telenovas, and 1 which was a Chicago PD marathon. We opted for Chicago PD, but 27 minutes of the lead guy's voice and we HAD to go. We ordered an Uber to Palo Verde, a favorite of mine, who advertised an 8 AM opening. However when our phone-happy Uber driver dropped is off, Palo was CLOSED! Luckily, we quickly found Tailgate across the street. They opened at 10:00 AM, and we showed up like some super eager beavers at 10:03 AM. We each had screwdrivers. They were strong. 3 ladies showed up - they were mature, and very fun. We all drank and watched Dr. Phil together. It was fun. Sometimes the jukebox would randomly play crappy music, and Lisa the bartender would cuss it out. She was cool. We did not get to eat, as we were there well before lunch, but we would have. They offer $1 hot dogs one day a week- I think Tuesdays - my bro in law JG would have been thrilled. I didn't see a menu to verify if it had chicken, but I bet they had wings or tenders. And they probably would have been as cool as Lisa. read more

We walk in to a somber atmosphere & a bartender that ignored us to talk to a cook (I think) so I went to the bar. Still not even a hello from the bartender- when she finally acknowledged me I asked for an iced tea for my boyfriend who is our DD - she flippantly said they don't have it. This is the watering hole closest to my humble abode, so I may be a little biased, but I love this place. It's exactly what I would picture when given the phrase "hole in the wall bar", and that's what I'm looking for when I just want to relax and unwind or even pregame. The bartender/server/foodrunner/barback that basically runs the place (I seriously don't know what the owners would do without her) is so nice and a very cool person to interact/chat with. The food, while not as extremely diversified as it could be, is always prepared when you order it and comes out hot and delicious. They have a cool side patio to smoke on. Im actually a regular!! My favorite bar tender is Lisa, shes awesome!! My wife loves the lady cuz shes the only bar tender there that makes a killer Jamaician 10 speed, shes heavy handed so my wife loves it!! The food there is the best bar food ive actually EVER HAD!! Well worth it, cheap and delicious!! I usually get a thin crust pepperoni pizza with wings (always) and a pitcher of blu moon with my wifes 10 speed!! Less then 30 bucks!! This place is the shit, as long as your feelings aren't easily hurt and you can deal with a stinking bathroom. First time I came in here the older lady bartender cussed me out when I asked if she could turn the sound on the game on. She's really a sweet lady, she just doesn't know how to express her feelings without being ornery. She even lets me watch soccer. The bartenders are all cool as s__t unless they don't like you. I don't have that problem because I'm a great guy. The pizza, wings and hot dog specials are great but there's no way I'm eating spaghetti and meatballs at a bar. Honestly though this might be my favorite bar ever, and I've been to a lot of em. The people are honest and friendly. People here buy each other drinks all the time.
