I didn't stay long and had actually dropped someone off for a live band. The place is pretty big inside, plenty of room for dancing or hanging out. I took at peek at the menu beforehand, which was what actually had me decide not to go in, all I saw was mac and cheese for the veggie lover in me, and well, it didn't sound enough veg. The menu had good ol' American pub type food, but again, I didn't try it. The music was very loud. Very very loud. When I went in to sit with the folks I was dd-ing for, I couldn't hear them, or anything around me, oddly, I didn't know whether I was truly able to hear the music that was blairing. I have always enjoyed this establishment, however I have to agree with one of the other reviews. Some of the regulars feel they can act however they please. Some of the patrons tried to physically fight my husband and I so we will not be going back unless they have been banned. I'm an adult and not trying to get into physical altercations with other adults that have possibly been over served. I am a regular at this bar, but I have a legitimate complaint about one of its other patrons. His name is Shane, and he makes it his personal patio. Harrasses people, plays his own music from the motorcycle and golf cart that he parks on the sidewalk. There are others that are passed the point of being irritated and pissed that he shows up. Regulars should be comfortable and not have to worry about one bad seed, but yet here he still shows up. read more

Stopped in because it is literally behind my house. Tried to play a game of pool at their table. It was missing a ball. The waitress told me she was made aware of the missing ball two days ago. No sign or indication the ball is missing. No refund for the inconvenience. Ordered steak dinner. The steak was obscenely over seasoned. Had to scrape off a pile of burnt on seasoning. The steak and mashed potatoes just tasted like salt. So bad. I wasn't expecting steakhouse quality, but I was expecting it to be edible. Ok so we've been in here on a few occasions basically due to the food and great bands. When we arrived last night I no sooner hit the door way and I just had that gut feeling that we shouldn't be going in and now I know why.We no sooner sat down didn't even have menu's yet and the server was asking us for a credit card so they could run it to make sure we had at least $10 on it according to the owner Dale after getting him involved now there's a $ 24 dollar charge on top of our food and beverage bill so now there's the hassle of having to deal with this and the bank. I honestly wanted to like this place the food is one step above your typical bar food, they have great entertainment on the weekends and the staff is friendly. Customer beware the owner is also connected to On The Green here in Mesa where they too are trying to pull the same cock and bull. I grew up in Los Angeles where the shady businesses will try to nickel and dime customers for hidden fees. This has left such a bad taste in my mouth I can't see myself ever going back. read more

We decided to try this place as it was close to where our friends live. It was not busy at all. We were there just after 11, so we missed breakfast. Huge selection of items. We all had something different. Our friends ordered the French Dip and the meatloaf. They said their meals were good. French Dip had so much meat and the meatloaf was a huge portion. We ordered the Hit Ham and Cheese. Again, stuffed full of ham. I ordered the Cheeseburger. Again, I could barely fit this in my mouth. Brandy was our server and she was great. Very friendly and very attentive. They have tons of specials, Fish Fry on Fridays and live music on Fri & Sat, plus Happy Hour, Trivia, Free Texas Hold 'Em. Those are the ones I remember. I've been here several times and the food has been very good. However, on Valentine's Day, there were 2 specials to choose from...prime rib and a rib eye steak. I had the prime rib, and it was pretty good. Not chewy at all. I ordered medium rare, but it came medium. My husband had the steak and it was chewy. Not a good ribeye. Also, we both got baked potatoes, but had to ask for butter and sour cream! The waitress gave each of us two little butter packs, but only one sour cream that we had to share! I just discovered this place and it's my new favorite! Service was excellent and the food is absolutely delicious! They have fantastic specials and a very generous happy hour too! Live bands on the weekends and karaoke on Tuesdays nights! Pool tables, free Texas hold 'em on Monday nights and a lot of big screen t.v.'s for all the sports fans! The service was good but the food was horrible. We ordered the 10 ounce ribeye and both of the steaks were bad, as in old meat that should not have been cooked. They garlic mashed potatoes did not taste good as well. The toast was stale. The steamed vegetables that were clearly from a frozen bag were the only good part of the meal. My girlfriend's margarita tasted like the store bought mixer. My Dr. Pepper was okay. Ok wow, I have drive past this bar for almost 2 years and we just ate inside and I'm already ready to return. What a gem! If you're looking for a delicious breakfast and breakfast cocktail this IS the place. (They do offer lunch and dinner also) I am so glad we decided to eat here. I ordered a michelada and biscuits and gravy, pancakes for my kids, and steak&eggs for my husband. BEST MEAL EVER. The cook (his name is Dave) was on a roll in the kitchen and his music taste was awesome, I heard him singing Tom petty which is always my karaoke go-to. He cooked our food perfect, best biscuits I've had in a LONG time. I kept stealing bites of my husbands steak because he couldn't stop talking about how perfect it was cooked (medium rare). The o'briens potatoes omg I ordered another side of them because we couldn't stop eating them. I came here today on wanting to try something new. Incredibly odd I actually had been at this location before while owned and operated by someone else under a different name. I can't tell you how happy I was with this place. I sat at the bar ordered a beer and wings, as I wasn't incredibly hungry. The bartender was incredibly attentive and her description of the menu was great. My wings came out perfect and quickly 2x bonus. Naked and extra crispy! Looks like this could be a new Mesa football go-to for sure. They have a full booze license, great food and great staff. Worth a try for sure! Keep it local. read more

Alright, alright, this place has been 3 different establishments over the years. It's a cool atmosphere and the patrons are all nice. Service was a little slow however we were just drinking so no big deal, we just walked up to the bar to order. The bar tops are all slightly too close to each other however, you can just move it a smidge. To go the bathroom you might want to hire a taxi...it's so far in there! That's not their fault though, it's the architecture of the physical building. Staff was still super friendly and we had a great time! Outdoor patio as well.
