Great line dance lesson. The instructor did a great job. Good atmosphere. Great service at the bar. This is not a line dance bar it is a partner dancing bar. Lots of country swing. Ratio of partner dancing to line dancing is about 5:1 maybe 4:1 if you're lucky. If you are coming to line dance don't waste your time. Mostly partner dancing. I was told by the DJ on Facebook that there was line dancing (which is true) but was not told it was more country swing with a little bit of line dancing. That's a bit deceiving and disappointing. Then when I tried to request line dance songs, I was told my requests would be played eventually even though as far as I saw I was the first person to put In requests. Phoenix line dancing bar scene is pretty disappointing overall. This is a nice dinner place and great if you love to partner dance or just hang out at a bar and listen to country music. read more

As a family of 6 we had an outstanding time here for brunch! We sat at a high top and our server was very attentive. Kids food items were great and the adult entrees were delicious! The loaded fries were beyond good with the bbq chicken. I was sooo impressed. There was live music which the kids loved! A little bit country, a little bit rock and roll If country music isn't for you, then this may not be your place, but... You may still want to give it a try. I don't like country music but I ended up here while exploring downtown Gilbert. I realized when I walked in this is really more of a country music venue and I was ready to walk right out, but we decided to stay for a drink. Right around 10:30PM everything changed. They started to remove all the tables and chairs near the stage area and turned it into a dance floor. The music changed as well from country to a mix of rock and even dance music. The energy picked up as people started dancing and having more fun. So, we ended up staying there even though we almost walked out. I guess you have to give it a chance. Decided to meet there with some family members because I've never tried this place before. I was extremely disappointed in their food quality. Ordered the barbecue basket and the sausage was extremely overcooked, the brisket was very fatty and hard to chew, the cornbread was like sawdust, and it was just an overall terrible food experience. I decided to order some onion rings, a side, salad, and some broccolini after my terrible experience with the barbecue plate and I cannot say that any of those were good either. we stopped in on Labor Day to hear some music. The artist playing was very good but the bar service was extremely poor. The bartender must have walked by us a dozen times and totally ignored us. She didn't offer any water, no napkins and no straw and it took forever to get my bill. we ended up going to OHSO down the street and had a blast. I really wish the food was good. I got the spinach dip that did not taste like spinach but more of just cheese and it was dry. The chicken and waffles were also horrible. The waffles were too soft and the chicken was too hard where I couldn't even bite. Portion was small for the price. The only decent tasting thing was the garlic fries. Stopped by for a quick bite tonight. We like the casual ambiance, good food and excellent service here. We were both hungry, so we opted for a couple of burgers. Our server, Christina, was awesome! Personable, knowledgeable and friendly. She gave us some recommendations, and we opted for an All American and a Whiskey Burger. Christina had our drinks out to us in minutes, followed shortly by our piping hot food. The burgers were delicious, and the fries were perfectly cooked - with just the right amount of crispness! Christina kept an eye on our table and checked in with us exactly when we needed her to - as those first two beers went drown pretty fast! She gave us recommendations for beer and cocktail options and we were not disappointed. I decided to try the local IPA - and loved it! All in all, it was an great "Friday Eve" night out. - Nice venue (not as loud as a weekend night), a great meal, a couple of drinks and our server Christina made the experience that much better. This was a fun little stop in the area. It is a large bar/restaurant with separated areas for drinking, dancing or dining. There was a live musician - a pretty good one at that - playing country hits as we arrived. This continued for at least an hour and wrapped up around 3:00 pm. This apparently changes from time to time and seemed to surprise even our waitress, who had to look at the schedule. If you intend to hear live music, you might call ahead and check the schedule to see who's playing and when. For us, the music was good, but was replaced by recorded music afterwards, so it was still ok. We had come in with the intention of cooling down and sampling some of the beverages. That's what we did. For several hours. I didn't quite travel through the entire collection of signature drinks, but 66% is almost a passing score so I quit there. Some of these were really very good. Dierk's Lemonade, the Heartbreaker and Rye Oh My were highly enjoyable. The Tequila Mockingbird wasn't my thing - probably because it was a cocktail made with wine. The others, however, tasted like more. Of course, with the price of their cocktails, your drinking habits are suppressed. Probably wise, as good as they were. We also decided to have an appetizer while enjoying the atmosphere and had the Sweet Chili Cauliflower. It was a good treat, mixing crispy, spicy and cauliflower all in one thing. It didn't last long, but it was good while it lasted. I don't live near one of these, so I will have to delay my next visit until I'm back in the Phoenix or Nashville area. read more
