Excellent Service. These guys stand behind their work. I drive over 1.5 hrs to bring them my F350 7.3 I was having issues with some intercooler boots they previoulsy replaced. This the first time I have used Diesel Tech to address a black smoking issue with my 6.0. I was dealing with another diesel shop in Riverside and found their approach to addressing the issue as a "lets try this next" attitude with no structured diagnosis of the problem. When I dropped my truck off at Diesel Tech they were very clear on what they would be checking by following Ford's recommended procedures for diagnosing the problem. After spending more than 2 hours working on the truck they thought they found the problem, a bent terminal on the turbo's VGT connector. We road tested the truck and it seemed to solve the smoking issue. However, after driving it for about 30 miles the smoking started again. I called Diesel Tech and Mike was very accommodating and said they would work me in to their schedule to further address the issue. Excellent customer Service. I'm sure I will be writing a very positive review once they fix the problem next week. read more

I took my 2016 Ford F-350 to a different shop in town and they were unable to definitively diagnose the problem. Since they weren't 100% sure what the issue was I decided to get a second opinion. When I called here they told me what it most likely was before I even brought it in. I took it in and they had it diagnosed and repaired very quickly. We wet to this location because it was referred to us by a friend. I have 2004 chevy diesel with injectors problems, however We spent little over 8k in total to fix our truck. It started off by the truck needing injectors, from here it just went to crap. The truck has water in the oil, low oil pressure,low coolant I took it back several times they say it's fine.They strongly misdiagnosed. All they say is "well, it could be"... we pay for the "it could be " it turns out worse. This place left me with a sour taste in my mouth, heavily dissatisfied and disappointed. I could go into more detail about how they brush you off when you comeback with your truck being worse than when you first took it there. Now the truck is just sitting collecting dust. 8k later Broken down!!! I strongly Do Not Recommend!. read more

This is my 3rd visit to DT. I could have sworn I left a 5 Star Review after my first trip there last year, but in looking into things I discovered that I did not. So this review is based on 3 visits to this great shop. We have a 2003 Ford F350 6.0L PowerStroke. We all know about these engines. The guys here at Diesel Tech are maestros when it comes to working on these particular engines. They installed a Sinister Diesel Blue Spring unit, and a Sinister Diesel Coolant Filter Kit. Both jobs were done quickly and with a low labor quote. They are not the cheapest shop, but their prices are very fair and each time they have wrenched on my truck they came in on time and on budget. They are friendly to deal with, and I could not recommend this shop any more than I am. I will be back to this shop. Great experience!! read more

Recently had my oil change and fuel filter done on my 2014 Ford F-250. The technician indicated that my front brake pads needed to be replaced. I made an appointment to have my pads replaced and rotors turned. Dropped vehicle off at my scheduled time and received a call 4 hours later the job was completed. The reason I took my vehicle to Diesel Tech and not the Ford dealership is in the past the dealership seemed to upcharge me for things that did not need to be done. Diesel Tech does what needs to be done and they do it in a professional manner. They don't try to spend my money by doing things that are unnecessary. After 1 independent mechanic and 3 Ford Dealership service centers, We will NEVER take our 2004 Eddie Bauer Excursion to anyone else EVER. Thet KNOW the Powerstroke engines, for all the good and bad, they KNOW. We bought the Excursion brand new, Nov. 2004 with 14 miles. Now with over 260,000 miles and 2 sets of all 8 fuel injectors, 1 by independent (later found only replace 2 URGH and replaced the computer because ge couldnt fet it running, but used a F-350 computer...) full 8 at Dealership, and another 4 eith Deisel Tech. The difference with Deisel Tech, in 24 hours, it was diagnosed, repair completed and back on the road with 24 hours!!! They know their $#*&...aka - Stuff! Our biggest regret, is not following our first instinct to take the Excursion to him 4 years ago when the injector nighmare began. Being woman, its always uneasy going to a mechanic shop. There are some that are just plain condescending, or you feel like you should have worn a body condom there and need a radio active exposure shower after you leave!! Not at Deisel Tech, very nice, relaxed and respectfull. They don't gouge, they understand that vehicle repairs are expensive, not judgements! They make suggestions, but don't make you feel like crap, cause you don't to do or don't have tome or $$ to do a suggested repair. Will only take our 'blue bus' to Deisel Tech. We drive all the way from Calimesa for them to service our F250, because these guys are so knowledgeable, honest and fair. While getting ready for a trip in March, we noticed a leak. After they checked it out, they told us that a part they had replaced for us in November was defective. They replaced the part, and didn't charge us anything! Not for the part or the labor! They could have told us it was something else entirely, or at the very least charged us for another part, but they were totally honest. This place was recommended to me by 2 Ford dealerships when I asked about repairs outside my warranty. My 6.0 has been dealer maintained since day one and Diesel Tech maintained since my warranty expired. I'm an out of towner, (work in the area during the week, go home on the weekends). Recently took my 2004 F350, 6.0 turbodiesel in for an oil change. Quick and and easy. Thanks fellas. After leaving their shop, I had an unrelated issue (to the oil change) while getting diesel fuel. The truck wouldn't go into gear. I called Michael at Diesel Tech and explained the situation. They sent a mechanic from their shop to my location and he crawled under, diagnosed and repaired the broken linkage on the spot. Wouldn't even accept any payment for the service call. That is going above and beyond that is rarely seen these days. Stellar group of guys. They're courteous, respectful and knowledgeable and they will certainly have my business in the future.
