She told us someone would be contacting us shortly and they actually did! One of our smoke detectors was non stop beeping. We had replaced the batteries several different ways and times. The poor dogs were freaked out. We could not figure it out. They said they were pretty booked up but would definitely fit us in between 2-6pm same day! I received a text not too long after that David would be contacting me shortly with an ETA. David called about 2 minutes after that text to let me know that he was on his way and showed up shortly after at 11:30am well before our original window and probably not too much more that an hour and a half after my initial call. David diagnosed our problem right away and gave us several options. He did not have the part we needed but drove to the hardware store over 3 miles away at no additional charge! He returned and fixed the problem lickety split! Nice and professional the entire time. I loved everything about working with this company. The constant communication, genuine concern for us, friendly and professional from the first contact and all the way through. I don't know much about how things are charged in this industry but thought it was a bit off to charge just over $200 to install a $40 part but I'm glad that they were able to help us so quickly and professionally. It turns out he had a spot open that afternoon, so we made an appointment The cost ====== Emil was very up front about the cost: $170 for a trip charge and an hour of diagnostics. It seemed a little steep, but I was curious so I agreed. The service ====== When Emil came over, he was very courteous and professional. I took him to the circuit breaker panel and showed him the outlets that didn't seem to be working in the house. What ensued was a 30 minute adventure where Emil showed off his problem solving skills. Let's just say that you don't have to be worried that his prices are too high -- he's worth every penny. He discovered that the problem was actually a loose connection in an outlet in the NEXT ROOM. He also changed out our bathroom fans, fixed 3-way light switches, took down a really high and bulky chandelier, and a host of other issues. Emil is part electrician, part surgeon. He creates the smallest amount of damage possible to the ceiling, making it easier for the sheet rockers after him- in some rooms he got 4 lights in there with only 1 hole beyond the ones that the lights actually went into!
