My husband and I went here yesterday and we're so glad we did. We had seen Gazzini tiles in a few stores and knew we liked this brand and know it was imported from Italy. We did some research and saw that Diflumeri is a direct importer and carried a variety of Gazzini tile. Wow, first off, they have an amazing selection of beautiful tile. Enough to give you options but not overwhelming. The same tile that we found in two other stores was over $2 per square foot less than anywhere else we found it. They have a great selection of quality materials at very reasonable prices. You're able to find quality at a fair price which is important to us. They had everything we needed in stock which was another plus. We are under a tight timeline and didn't have to wait for them to order anything so it's helping us keep on track with our project. We were quickly greeted by Basillio who was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He was patient and listened to what we had in mind. He made some great suggestions that matched our ideas and walked us through some things we didn't think about. His knowledge was something we didn't find anywhere else. We met Lisa too and she was helpful as well. Both are very friendly. Great quality, amazing service and good honest people. Can't get much better than that. If you need tile... GO TO DIFLUMERI! My husband and I shopped all of the tiles stores on the tile mile in Watertown (no exaggeration), went to the typical big box stores, and many other tiles stores peppered on Rte. 1 & 9, so needless to say we shopped around quite a bit! Upon walking into DiFlumeri tile, I was slightly concerned that there wouldn't be as many options. Some of the other tile stores are twice the size of this store. I was COMPLETELY wrong! They have an excellent selection of beautiful quality tiles and are extremely well versed in their trade (so be sure to walk in and talk to someone immediately about your ideas as there are items that are tucked away and not readily visible). We worked predominantly with Basilo and were so impressed with him. He's knowledgeable and offers options that work for the customer, period. No up selling, no pressure, and no judgement. He never made us feel like were taking up his time and was just super helpful (this on a busy Saturday). This store truly is a rare find! Last night after work (they are conveniently open until 8PM on Tues & Thurs), we purchased some amazing Italian tile for our bathroom at a price that was the best around for the quality purchased, seriously. I honestly will never set foot into another tile store in this state (already been to most of them at this point). While others are personable or offer a big selection or are price competitive... DiFlumeri is ALL of that in one place. Why bother going elsewhere? read more

Similar to another reviewer, I searched for bathroom tile for almost a year and every time I looked, I just got more confused and overwhelmed with the process. A friend recommended that I visit DiFlumeri Tile and I am so glad I did because I now have a beautiful new bathroom! First, there is a great selection of tile and marble ranging from traditional to modern, with varying price points. Second, the service is outstanding. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and talented, and are willing to recommend different styles and accent pieces. They helped me design the entire bathroom and when I thought I was done, they helped me select the color grout. And unlike a number of places that I had visited before DiFlumeri, the sales staff is very responsive. They answer the phone (no automated service), return calls, and respond to email inquiries. Third, the installation was outstanding. The setters was so professional. They arrived on time for the duration of the project and were extremely neat i.e. they protected the floors and used tarp to minimize the dust to the adjacent room. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding (even other contractors and tradespeople complimented the quality of the installation). My wife and I looked for bathroom tile and kitchen backsplash. Using online reviews we picked Diflumeri. We were not disappointed. It's a small family run business but don't let "small" fool you. Yes the store isn't huge but they have a great selection of tiles. Basilio, who I believe is one of the owners was great and listened intently as my wife and I argued over what to get. She won. That being said we ordered carrera marble tiles for the bathroom and white subway tile for the kitchen. Basilio was able to tell us we didn't order enough despite my contractors request. We went with what our contractor told us and sure enough were back a week later to order more. They were on top of everything and able to get us both orders in a very timely manner and at reasonable prices. Everytime I called I spoke to either Basililio or his "sister"? It was nice because they both knew exactly who I was and what I needed. So obviously I highly recommend this place for your tile needs. read more

I've gone to DiFlumeri for two of my house renovation projects and I would definitely go back. First I had new tile put in my bathroom floor, then I added a back splash in my kitchen, Both projects came out great. I am in the middle of a very complicated kitchen and office remodel and I have to commend Basilio and Lisa at DiFlumeri Tile for taking the complexity out of the experience. They provide great service and give your real advice about your selections. While the national chain showrooms may be larger and look like you have more options, honestly they are just more confusing. DiFlumeri is the way to go, if you want one-to-one service, people that care about your experience and want you to be happy regardless of the amount of money you are spending. After a positive experience in the store picking out marble/tile for two smaller projects, we decided we wanted to use Di Flumeri as they were recommended by a friend. They told us when we were ready to call them and they would send someone out to measure within a few days. After our first call asking for someone to come out to measure, we were told we would get a call back to confirm a day and time. We never heard back - no phone call, no one showed up. Unfortunately this happened two more times over the course of a month.. Again - each time we were told we would get a call back - each time they apologized, and each time no one showed. Meanwhile we had ripped out our current tile. After I mentioned that I have a kitchen and 3 bathrooms to do after the initial small jobs, they said they would have someone out that evening - By that point it was too late and a little frustrating. It seemed this place was not really interested in smaller jobs, unfortunately they never told us this in the beginning and we wasted about 5 weeks with them, and now have to start over with someone else. I can't comment on the quality of their work since we never got to that point. But unless you have a pretty large project I would probably look somewhere else. read more
