They didn't give me one (which seems like common sense) because it can provide an insight as to how your patient is doing. Well it turns out his diagnosis was wrong. I found out two months later I had been having kidney failure!!! Had he done a blood test it would've have shown I was having organ failure!! Maybe I wouldn't be doing dialysis 3 days a week now!! Dr Mujtaba has no bedside manner at all. The only nice thing I have to say is the support staff at the DI location were nice.

He didn't care didn't mention any other treatment for gasteroparesis said there really isn't…read moreanything that can treat it said I could go home even though the flare up had been treated with Zofran and dilodud pain medication he said he will put recommendation that nothing should be changed he t all. instead wrote that I shouldn't have the pain medication that had been helping my flare up since 2010 that it slows the stomach down which isn't true all he asked how I know I have gasteroparesis I told him I've had ran and dilodud br empty studies he said oh ok so you do know you have it you've had the correct testing I said yes he asked what they used in the past I said Zofran and dilodud because the reglan makes it so I can't walk he even said he doesn't like reglan either but there really isn't anything else and yes the Domperidom from Canada can cause rare heart issues he didn't mention motegrity which I e also tried and that did not work either and the adverse side effects like depression, stomach pain just made the gasteroparesis worse. He asked me if I ever had a camera go in and look and what did they find I said they have and that they found gasteritis and some polyps but that it's more of an invisible disease his body language suggested he didn't care and he's made his assumptions that the flare up has subsided he had nothing to do at this time and to just not have me on the pain medication that helped me I have other body pain I deal with as well so just stoping pain medication that I do get from pain management aswell is not the best solution I have been dealing with this and all these issues for many years and with kidney failure it had intensified especially when dealing with nuropathy, osteomyelitides, toe amputations, etc I have found most GI doctors to not understand gasteroparesis their studies are not accurate and they do not I've it they say to eat smaller meals but still do not comprehend that the food has nowhere to go but to be vomited out that even without constipstion there can still be pain in the left flank the pain medication does not cause me slower stomach nor does it cause Constipation I've told him this and told many previous doctors this and he still compares me to other patients and that's not correct. Everyone handles medications differently I can't tollerate reglan becatse it starts to cause Paralysis of my legs and other medications they recommended for We're not effective and cause more harm to my physical well-being. He didn't even recommend testing or really even try to listen to what I was saying. He seemed bored and I'm interested in what I had to say.

The front desk quickly checked me in. From the time I checked in to the time the doctor came into the room was less than 15 minutes. The doctor Reviewed our prior visit notes. Dr Lyons asked about other symptoms, and I told him I felt somewhat bloated. Ended up getting charged $1000 when I went to my colonoscopy, which is supposed to be fully covered by insurance. Found out Dr. Lyons coded it wrong under "distention" rather than "screening". He refused to correct the coding, telling me it would be medical malpractice. I guess he skipped his law classes in school, because re-coding is a super common occurrence. I know as I run all IT operations for 2 large hospitals. He lied to me to my face about that, then didn't do the banding he was supposed to do, so I ended up being $1000 out for something that was supposed to be fully covered, and still didn't get the primary thing done I went in to see him for. I would recommend that you bypass CRC and go to a clinic that follows ethical standards, unless you have a lot of money you don't want.

Things I didn't like: The way he talked about issues and treatment sounds as if he is teaching but it's done in a condescending way. Have seen Dr. Hsiung 3 times now and he has been late every time. After numbing injections were finished and right before the scalpel, Dr said "don't yell." And then I felt EVERYTHING, as if I had no numbing medicine at all. It took a lot of restraint not to scream. When I asked questions to understand how to take care during the healing process, doctor became irritated and asked where am I getting these questions. And it had spread to the bowels and Lungs. And she had 30 days. Now we had just been to Henderson Hospital in Sept of 2020, and they told her she had fatty liver. So after an exam the Dr said she has 4 liver masses one compressing the IVC which is causing temporary issues. And they ran every test known to man. Came back with Fatty liver. No Cancer. We came back in December as my wife had thrown up blood. Turned out she had a bleed from Acid Erosion in the Eshaphugus. But Dr Frankels notes say a History of Cirrhosis, Alchol abuse... etc..etc. I have the Biopsys CT/MRI/PET all in hand and they all say Fatty liver. So ? And my wife was a non drinker. We met with him Again in July of 2021. And he said your liver is fine, its healing really nice. Follow up in a year. So not sure what happened with the December notes if he confused her with someone else? But it causes significant mental trauma.
