I made a follow up appointment and was called that afternoon that the doctor was unavailable but she can call me later that day they would call to check me in to obtain my co-pay who charges a co-pay for a follow up to a procedure. I've never had to do that before they called me to check in 30 minutes after they said they would and the doctor would be calling me in 10 minutes. It is now an hour later and I still haven't received a call. I'm going into the office to collect my records and will never use this facility again.

They have you count backwards from 30 and I never remember reaching 25! You're out. You feel great afterwards. Before the endoscopy i got from Dr. Tack's office, I had one about 23 years ago when instead of being knocked out I was just IV'd with valium and while it was probably the best technology they had at the time, it wasn't as easy and the beginning was uncomfortable. Dr. Tack has a great professionalism to him as well. Very matter of fact and lets you know what you need to with a voice befit for a radio announcer. Only been there twice, but came up Aces both times.

I had been a patient of Dr. Lazar for many years, and in 2017 I was understandably anxious about being treated by a new physician. This time I had no anxiety, whatsoever, because I knew how I would be treated. Dr. Bansal and his staff made me feel like I was the most important patient in the practice. Whenever I see Dr. Bansal he greets me warmly, never rushes me, and takes the time to answer all my questions until he's sure that I understand the answers. Kristin, the scheduling coordinator, carefully explained the prep procedure and returned my call promptly the day before my colonoscopy when I was confused about the directions. Courtney at the front desk is a star receptionist. Marisol and Shoba, the surgical assistants, made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked into the suite until I walked out. The amazing Dr. Chen offered me a Pina Colada (IV) and described the sand on the beach until it was "lights-out". And of course, the gentle, caring demeanor of Dr. Bansal is one you rarely encounter in a busy doctor these days. I'm so very comfortable in this office! Dr. Pathickal also sent our release forms that we completed to ProHealth requesting our records, but nothing was ever sent. My wife required a procedure from Dr. Pathickal, and the records were required to complete the diagnosis after her procedure. We went to ProHealth medical records department in Lake Success NY to see about getting her records prior to her procedure. The person we spoke with stated that he personally sent the records himself three times and stated that the records were probably sitting on Dr. Pathickal fax machine, and no one ever picked them up. He proceeded to print out the records and when we went home and opened the package there was a $72 bill inside, which he never informed us about. This was very deceitful, and I believe this practice is unlawful. We are still awaiting my records to be sent which again were requested multiple times.

I has a procedure in June and the Doctor Gal ask me to call in two week for results and one month for a follow up. I have been calling that office on a daily basis to schedule my appts. sine July 8th and I have yet to have my phone calls answered. I had the phone rang for over 7 mins one occasion and then it was busy for a whole day and I wonder if they are all on vacation.

I…read morewent to him because I saw many review on zocdoc saying how great Dr Sandberg is and I figured he would be able to help me plus he took my health insurance. At first it I liked him. I had an endoscopy done at a facility in Massapequa by Dr. Sandberg, everything went fine. When he wanted me to get a colonoscopy he decided I should have it done at New Hyde park endoscopy located on n the same building as his office in New Hyde park. Well after my colonoscopy I received a surprised bill for not just one but TWO colonoscopes!!!! THATS FRAUD!! I had been under the impression that my insurance was covered in this facility he wanted me to go to because the first facility was covered and I figured he would have to go to a facility that was in network with my insurance. Turned out it wasn't covered and no one ever informed me about that. Which is so wrong ! The billing department billed both my insurances with the same claim. THAT IS FRAUD!!! Obviously they declined them bc the facility was out of network for one insurance and my medical insurance doesn't cover ambulatory procedures. I tried to dispute it right away and I never received a call back from the billing department. I then started to receive bills from a collection agency for the TWO colonoscopes! THAT IS FRAUD!!! Not only did this office charge me twice for a procedure I had done once but they sent it to collection agency wrong! I was receiving calls from the collection agency 5x a day from different phone numbers for months. I was being harassed to pay a bill that was WRONG! Eventually the collection agency changed it to one colonoscopy and continued to harass me. This whole situation had caused me great distress and on top of it was extremely sick and the doctor was useless and told me I was fine and probably have IBS. I continued to be sick. I lost 40 pounds in less than a year. That's not normal and definitely not typical with IBS. I even expressed to him that IBD runs in my family. There was absolutely no regard for anything that I told him and instead I was left with a surprise bill from the facility he insisted I go to. #traumatizing
