Delicious. Was in largo for a week ate here twice. First night I had the veal. Guy's special. My wife had the special. Kansas City steak. Both were excellent. The garlic knots were awesome. On Fourth of July my family decided to stop by after a firework show last minute. This place was so warming in welcoming us last minute and Gary was more than helpful. This was tasty Italian considering it's location is quite far from NYC/NJ. The servicer was prompt and kind. The ambiance was nice, it had the classic Italian look. The prices are very reasonable as well. My only suggestion is that they offer gluten free pasta. This is one of the very few places I've been to recently that doesn't. read more

Great way to end Spring Break. Went snorkeling at John Pennekamp and reserved on Open Table, DiGiorgio's was down the street. Great clam linguini, my wife had the Veal Chop Cutlet Florentine and said it was delicious. Kids had pizza and penne pasta, the chicken Florentine soup was delicious and so was the fried calamari. My husband and I have dined countless times throughout many years at this restaurant, in fact we at times would drive 45 minutes to an hour from Miami and back home just to dine there because the food and service was excellent. Yesterday, the experience was very disappointing. The restaurant was packed with people, social distancing was not being practiced at all. I made a reservation few weeks prior because in light of the pandemic people have decided to stay in their keys properties and I assumed that the number of patrons would be larger. I was right, never in all the years we've been going had there been such a large crowd. The food was awful. I ordered capellini aglio e olio, with chopped tomatoes. My pasta was bland, tasteless, the waitress forgot my tomatoes request, forgot a spoon and cheese. She came back with cherry tomatoes sliced in half in a cup. I had it replaced with spaghetti with meat sauce that was worse. In the meantime, my husbands dish was spaghetti arrabiata with shrimp. Presentation was awful, the shrimp were just thrown on top and not cooked with the sauce . His dish was stale cold because he asked for a spoon and cheese and our waitress forgot to bring it. Valentine's Day and my spouse and I ate separately! I asked for water, she saw two empty glasses, filled one with water. Between the terrible food, the forgotten spoons, lack of water, place packed with people it was an awful experience. I understand that Valentine's creates a large volume of patrons for restaurants but knowing that, the staff should be better prepared and hands on. It's a shame because it really is a place we enjoyed so much, but after yesterday's experience, it may be sometime before we decide to make the drive just to eat there. read more

This is an average Italian place. Food was ok but nothing deserving of being featured on a certain well-known TV show so don't be fooled by those references. The biggest issue we had was the lackluster service. Our server was rude and inattentive and seemed annoyed by our presence. We skipped another round of drinks solely due to her attitude. While a restaurant shouldn't be judged only by one bad server, ultimately the management is responsible to ensure their staff is up to the job. read more

I have been coming here for years. New management anything you ask for is a big NO. They always charged you an up charge to change mashed for a side of pasta and that is no longer permitted. A side of pasta Is now $12.00. The server was quick to say no for anything you ask for. The experience was the opposite of what we have always had. Will not be back. Never a YES always a NO. Clams casino were perfect & the house creamy Italian dressing alone is worth a trip here ! I had the Parmesan Panko crusted Hogfish definitely one of the best dishes I've had in the Keys risotto was the perfect compliment & the aoili sauce was so different & worked well with the crispy fish ! Save your stomach and your money - do not go here! Two bites of the salad w creamy dressing made me sick. Garlic rolls were cold and soggy. Chicken parm had no taste and sauce wasn't even from a can - ketchup would have been better. Pizza was disgusting undercooked froze pizza. This place is just awful! read more

Clams casino, wedge salad and cannoli were awesome!! The pizza , rolls and the soup could use some love. I will never understand why restaurants still keep the pasta in the soup that sits there all day... it's gross and soggy. Here's a tip... keep the ditalini on the side and just have your servers add to the cup as you sell it. I guarantee your customers will be happy about it! The restaurant was clean and the servers were ok. It seems like they are leaning hard on the DDD visit a little too hard which is funny because they restaurant is actually pretty decent. read more

They lost our ticket, we have to wait more than an hour for our food, the waitress was really nice during all this time but the manager didn't care, the only respond we got from the manager was "That's the waitress fault what do want me to do". My recommendation order over the phone and take your food to go. read more

When you first walk in you are hit with Old world charm. Generous portions, good wine list, friendly service. I ordered the veal chop mostly because it was featured on the Food Network. Not bad but too much breadcrumbs for my taste. Stuffed shrimp was a better choice. There is pizza on the menu so I was expecting fresh garlic rolls. Nope, tasted like stale day old store bought. I had been staying right up the road walking distance for the last 3 years for the summer and this was the first time eating at this Italian restaurant. I should have tried this place years ago loving Italian cuisine. This is not your Chicago Italian, nor your New York Italian, this is Italian Italian. The Family migrated from Italy and opened this restaurant in 1968 and now the Son is running this fine dining establishment. Upon walking in we were greeted at by a beautiful young lady who took us to our table. I noticed everything was very clean and well decorated. Our server was Jessica and I have to say she is an asset to the establishment. Whenever we needed something she was there is a second like she had been watching us closely. Very attentive and knowledgeable on all menu items. I ordered Clams Casino for my appetizer and I must say it was very good. The Garlic Knots were great tasting along with the Caesar salad I ordered for an extra $2.99. For the main course I had the Veal Parmigiana which came with a side of pasta. We had a free glass of Chianti with the YELP check in offer which was a bonus. Over all the dining experience was great and the others in my party were all pleased with their meals. I will be back and recommend trying this place if you're in the Key Largo Area. read more

The best meal we had in Key Largo. Fish Piccata, veal and risotto were as good as we get in NY. The homemade fried mozzarella was delicious. Basically the lesson is key largo is skip the water view for wheels and find an established restaurant right on the highway. read more

Went back twice in our 5 day Key Largo stay...that's how good this genuine Italian eatery is. Would highly recommend any of the veal entrees...the chicken scarpiarello was just insane, and chicken fettuccine was also excellent. Don't worry about leaving this place hungry, the awesome Garlic rolls, dinner salads and giant entrees will leave you plenty full! Location and overall atmosphere deserve 4 stars, but excellent service and outstanding food suggest 5 stars. read more

My favorite Italian place in the upper keys! The baskets of garlic knots keep on coming. They have lots of garlic & oil, however, we were able to custom make ours without so much oil. Made reservations for 6 PM on Valentines day. The parking lot was jammed and I had to circle several times. This place is much larger and much nicer than it looks from the street. The service was steady, friendly, and on pace. But...the food, oh the food! My wife and I split the beet salad and were happy that we did. A) it was huge and B) it was delicious! For the mains, we had the Eggplant parmesan and the quattro fromagio ravioli. Both were marvelous..! All in all a terrific meal and great service. We highly reccomend this restaurant! read more

Let me start by saying this is probably the best restaurant in the immediate area. We were a rather large group on a Saturday night and ate a variety of things. There were certain things I liked a lot and other things that I didn't like at all. First off, the meatball appetizer is a must! That was probably the best item we had. The escargot was rather bland and way too creamy - I think it would be a huge upgrade if good olive oil and garlic were used in place of some of that cream. As of the hogfish I ordered with garlic sauce, it was mostly good but the fish was a bit tough. It would be a bit better if cooked slightly less. However, the garlic sauce was great and so was the sauteed spinach. Our waitress was very good and quite nice but we'll probably try some other entree items next time. read more

DiGiorgio's is a wonderful place for a great Italian meal. The food was excellent and the service was warm and attentive. It is one of the best meals I had while in the Keys, top five I would say. My only complaint was the graham cracker crust on the cheesecake. The cheesecake itself was orgasmic, but the cracker crust unnecessary. Just eat around it! We were vacationing in Key Largo and decided to try this little Italian restaurant. We were greeted and seated immediately. Service was extremely friendly and the waiter Jose was very attentive. Good food, I had the seafood linguini marinara and the seafood was well seasoned and fresh, as I would hope given it's the Keys :) Service was good, she was very helpful and had a great attitude, the only complaint I would have is that it took a while for our food to come out... but we were also starving since we spent the entire day at the beach. Kids had the pizza and pasta which were also good since they're typically fussy eaters but gobbled it up. I would recommend this place given it's not overly expensive either with a nice ambience. read more
