Amazing food and amazing view! This place was not on our radar when we came to the Keys for an extended weekend. Did a search this morning , and it popped up showing great reviews and pictures. Came with the family hoping we would not be disappointed by yet another "baked" review on Yelp. Needless to say, we were extremely happy and all of the food was great (burnt ends, antojitos, brisket tacos, churassco tacos, brisket Philly, etc). The staff was extremely helpful talking through the menu and making recommendations. Everyone left full and happy!!! It isn't inexpensive, but it is comparable with other restaurants in the Keys. Also, the food, service, and view is well worth it. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip to the Keys! read more

Lately I've been all but surrendering to the reality of dining out in Florida, but Lick It had me pick my head up out of the sand and remember that there are still people hard working, dedicated, and committed to being the best. We were in town for some R&R, and had rented a boat. The crew was hungry, and so after some desperate research we called Lick it and confirmed that they a) were by a dock and b) were dog friendly. Having knocked down 2 of many criteria required - we disembarked to a clean, well assembled Tiki Hut serviced by an adjacent efficiency and food truck - serving a Latino take on Pizza and BBQ. We were all offered beverages to start, and by all I mean the dog too. We ordered some lovely tostones for the table - large, hot, and accompanied by a cilantro dressing that even my soap hating wife was appreciative of. Then we split a few pizzas. Coming from Sarasota County - good pizza isn't always available. But this was hot, crisp, with a tangy sauce and just the right amount of cheese. 5-start pizza, probably an 8.7 for Dave Portnoy. I could add on about the food, but the service and setting were carefully thought out, done with intent, and appreciated. If you are traveling the Keys and need a quick bite, put it in your GPS. read more

This was the greasiest moss disgusting brisket i've ever had. Smoked chicken wings were really good. Yellow rice and pineapple coleslaw were decent at best. Pepperonis were tough and greasy, not the best quality cheese and the sauce was a nice consistency but not very flavorful. However, the crust was golden and had a nice crisp to it. My husband ordered the pizza - fresh ingredients and the crust was delicious; I ordered the BBQ pulled port sandwich, it was delicious I didn't even add any BBQ sauce. The ice cream was delicious- we shared it, added agave to it. We found out you can bring your own alcohol because the food truck is at a hotel. Plenty of places to sit. Very nice view of water. If you are English speaking don't come here - totally fine however was just very hard to understand. This seems to be a residential area where people actually live, not really a place to hang out... PIZZA WAS TERRIBLE. I got the supreme pizza which had only 2 tiny pepperonis. And for wood fired, the dough was not even crispy. Pizza is a 2/10 being generous. Would not recommend this place at all.
