We ate here to carb up before a race and enjoyed our time at the restaurant. The food was good and the service was great.

We came on the recommendation of the Guy Ferrari show, Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. We're down for a wedding and we were looking forward to some delicious food. We were sorely disappointed. I ordered the stuffed meatball app and my best friend got the fried mozzarella. My meatball was dry and tasted off so I sent it back uneaten. Her mozzarella went mostly uneaten and went back to the kitchen as well. I ordered the featured lobster mac n cheese. It was not delicious. The noodles were weird curled lasagna noodles and the sauce was separated by the time it got to me. The lobster 'chunks' were more like 'minced' and it was just altogether unpleasant. I hadn't eaten since 2000 the previous night and I wasn't hungry enough to eat more than four bites. Her picatta mahi and risotto was decent (per her). She was also hungry and is a type one diabetic so she has to eat and can't be picky like me. We left unsatisfied and personally sick to my stomach. Skip this one. read more

Although this place has the seating area nicely separated inside which makes it quiet, a minus for me is that it doesn't have a patio. You get a tasty free glas off Ruffino Chiant when you check in via yelp. (Only one per table though) The garlic bread is amazing. The Parma Pizza we had was also very good. You get a house salad or a soup with the entree. My boyfriend had the chicken noodle soup and I had the salad. Both great. I ordered the shrimp pasta with garlic and lemon sauce. I asked for extra garlic and they did take that pretty serious. I probably had an entire bulb on there. I couldn't decide at first since they have two similar dishes. I had to add a lot of Parmesan, salt and pepper to the dish myself since it didn't have a lot of taste. It was good but didn't love it. Shrimp Alfredo my boyfriend had was awesome he said. UPDATE: Owner is trying to help the word out for hours, let's me knows he cares a lot! This is not related to the food or anything. Food say is great Just a heads up if going, everywhere says they close at 11pm. We went (a group of 4) at 10pm and told us they were closed, and there is nothing that says they close early. I understand during Covid 19 is hard, but at least give us a heads up. We waited all day to come at 10pm from a long drive and get this. read more

We came to Key Largo for a Valentines getaway. I saw this place on Yelp so I decided to check it out. It was the perfect choice. We started with the calamari, I have ate calamari in many places but the ones here were to die for. The were fresh hot and tastes like real calamari not those imitations. Than came our shared meal because we were full from late lunch. We ordered the Parmesan crusted Maui with risotto and asparagus. Jesus that was heaven. The flavor were phenomena. Cooked to perfection and a perfect portion. The red house wine was extreme tasted for a house wine. I was totally satisfied and happy with food and the service. Our server was very attentive and was quick at any request. Will definitely be coming back again and bringing others. read more

Came here with a big party for dinner and starving children. Food came out fast and hot. Child's portions and adults portions were huge. Quality on apps and mains was very good. Menu selection was great! Being from NJ but now living far away, I always benchmark Italian food to my former local spot. This place didn't disappoint. The food was not good. The Mahi was not fresh and basically inedible. The vodka sauce on the penne vodka had very little flavor. My wife cannot eat gluten and they refused to substitute risotto for pasta without an upcharge. VERY disappointing dining experience. read more

This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in South Florida! We have been coming here for years, and while the menu has changed some the food is delicious and service is great. We went last night as a family and I realized I never posted a review and decided it was time. The penne vodka is great- it's what I get every time I come. My dining compatriots got the veal piccata and the linguini and clams and loved their meals. You get garlic knots and a great salad with your entrees. While I did not get desert this time, I've had the tiramisu many times before and it is delicious. My dining partners also highly recommend the lamb. They have nice cocktails and a good wine list, although I normally stick with the house Chianti. If you're in key largo and looking for a great meal out, don't miss this place! read more

Food was AMAZING!!!!!!! We were seated immediately, our waitress was great! The bread- the salad- the meal were all so good we did not have room for dessert!! With all the seafood restaurants in the area, it's great to have an Italian restaurant nearby that has great food. Their wine list is nice. The salads are really fresh. As far as pastas, the selection is varied and everything we've tried is delicious. I've had the lobster ravioli which was full of lobster. The gnocchi was good and tasted fresh and not frozen. The non pasta entrees are also well done. We've taken a few different friends here and everyone loves it. The service is really attentive. read more

We went tonight, theworst , after waiting for over 45 minutes to be served , we got garlic rolls that were not done they were pale& cold. All the food was cold, I had to return my hogfish it was cold and the mashed potatoes were also cold. My daughter ordered arrabiatta and that was horrible soggy noodles and the sauce terrible. You would think that a table that had ordererd 2 bottles of a nice wine, a hefty bill, the manager would come for some sort is excuse Even thought the waiitress said she reported it to the manager, he never came to our table to find out our dissatisfaction. Older building - not on the water but right off the main strip. Traditional Italian restaurant. Great rolls for the bread service. Great kids menu. We had the fried mozzarella as an app. The chicken parm was great, made to order pasta was great as well. Lots of beers to ick from as well. Only thing that made it 4 stars and not 5 is the service was just okay. Refills took a while. As with most places on Key Largo the wait staff doesn't feel the need to go above and beyond. Husband and I on vacation in Key Largo and opted for a non-seafood dinner, and oh boy, are we glad we did! Everything from the family-labeled Cabernet Sauvignon to the amazing chocolate cake was fresh, delicious, and served well! All told we had a bottle of the cab, the burrata caprese (fresh mozzarella), linguine in Gorgonzola sauce, a traditional Italian sausage and peppers, and rich chocolate cake to share. We ordered the Burrata and the truffle lobster Mac n cheese that was featured on diners drive ins and dives and is one of the 2 dishes highlighted on the menu for that. After leaving we watched the show to compare what they made and what we were brought wasn't even close. Each were less than mediocre and the service was worse. The truffle lobster Mac n cheese has no cheese sauce, no truffle present, very dry and had pieces of lobster shell in it. They were busy but our server and the staff all seemed to be unable to keep up. Who looked to be the manager was yelling at staff. It looked like other tables around us were having issues as well. Overall I couldn't bring myself to recommend this place to anyone and will not go back. On a positive note, the Burrata was okay and the bread they brought out before was good if you like garlic knots from your local chain pizza place. read more

DDD Review Time: DiGiorgio's Cafe Largo (Key Largo, Fl) I love finding these restaurants Diner's, Drive-in's, and Dive's goes to when I visit a city. Apparently if it is tasty enough for Guy Fieri, it should be fantastic right? Welcome to your low key ambience Italian restaurant with a massive menu of things to chose from from appetizers to wine. Our server was super sweet and had a very wonderful personality; even though her personal day started off very rough. No matter though, she brought service with a smile and took great care of us. So for appetizers, we started off with this fabulous massive ricotta stuffed pork blended meatball. The marinara on it was extremely delicious, which we used our kill by vampire garlic rolls to sop up the remaining sauce. The side salad was fresh, but was soaking wet from being wash. I did love their extremely different delicious creamy House Italian dressing. So with the entrees you get soup or salad and we chose to get both soups, which was pasta fagioli (this soup needs a little work, very bland, salt and pepper wasn't helping) and a crab cauliflower bisque (this soup was absolutely amazing, perfection on texture and taste). For entrees, he tried the DDD massive veal chop cutlet Florentine; and I tried the linguini and clams. Once again we are lacking in flavor, the breaded veal chop was extremely bland. I think the prosciutto was missing; and even trying to dip everything into the Marsala sauce, there was no punch of flavor. He order a side of mushroom risotto and it was very grainy (under cooked), but had a decent flavor. My linguini and clams was pretty tasty, until I actually got to the clams. They had not been cleaned properly, which in turn I was chewing on sand. So after finishing our delicious bottle of wine, overall review: service (5/5) food came out fast and great friendly service and food (2/5) definitely lacking depth of flavor in a lot of food items, super wet salad, gritty clams)...would I go back? Found this place on Yelp with some pretty good reviews. It was easy to find and we were seated fairly quickly without reservations on a Saturday night. The waitress was very quick; too quick. We'd barely given our drink orders when the were taking our food order. The food came out quickly and was quite excellent...and then we waited and waited to get our bill even after asking our waitress for it. Y this time the restaurant was getting busier, but it felt as if they had our business and were then forgotten. I do have to recommend the truffle lobster Mac and cheese. It was excellent and quite rich. The escargot was prepared with mushrooms in a heavy cream sauce. That was a bit much given the heaviness of my main course. Ordered the fried mozzarella as an appetizer and it must have been previously frozen because it was very cold in the center. As the main entree ordered the lasagne, which was extremely dry. Stopped in Key Largo on a road trip to the Keys, this Italian restaurant is a must to have dinner in. We had their shrimp scampi and then chef's special of Veal chop with bone in over parmesan risotto and topped with spinach and blue claw crab meat with holindaise sauce! For dessert we had their chocolate mousse cheese cake with cappuccinos! Outrageous! So yummy yumm,yumm! Lena the wait person was fast and responsive to our needs she was a breath of fresh air! As you can see, this will be my first review ever on Yelp. I have been coming to the Florida Keys for 19 years and 11 months and have enjoyed every single experience I have ever had at a restaurant. From just my statement above, I hope you will understand the reason why I will not go into detail on the quality of the food at this restaurant. Georgina was a fantastic waitress and she did everything she could do to try and mask the quality that was served. Guy Fieri would rethink his decision to include this on his show if he were to revisit it. read more
