    Yakisoba at its best !
    True 1.

Wonderful family friendly restaurant with a "seaside" vibe. Portions are well served and the quality is outstanding. Here is my favorites list for your knowledge: Tuna Nachos (awesome freshness and blend of crispy chip) definitely not your ordinary order of nachos ! Yakisoba: super plate of Japanese style noodles in a large portion. You can actually share this plate if you order all 3 meat options. Flavor is outstanding and accompanying rice works great with this plate. Conch fritters: reminded me of my trips to the Bahamas and Jamaica. Yes, that good. Finally , the primary contact here (Ronnie) is a gem and truly appreciates you and treats you like you and your family matter.

Don't pass this place on the way into or out of the keys! Alfredo's is one of our favorite places to eat in Key Largo. The 'on the border berger' is juicy, flavorful, and filling. They don't skimp on the toppings either. Quick and friendly service and clean dining room. See y'all again soon. -The Dukes

Service was very well, got sat as soon as we walked in even though it was very packed so that was nice. Service was quick, we order tuna nachos which were VERY filling, and super delicious i might order those as my meal for next time. I order the chicken Alfredo it was very delicious as well & my fiancé order the hog fish and enjoyed it. We'll definitely be coming back

If you want to know where the locals eat, you found it. Consistent food, made to perfection. The menu is a good variety to satisfy just about anything you are looking for. The service is on point and friendly. The restaurant is simple, yet inviting. They are known for their hibachi... the only place in the upper keys to get it and boy do they know how to make it. I highly recommend any wrap or burrito they make... but if you are craving a burger, they place doesn't disappoint!

This place seems to be quite popular here. For what I saw they are very consistent. The service was great. Friendly and efficient. The place is spacious and look like a traditional diner. The food portions are huge. My dish was Huevos rancheros and it was very different than any other Huevos rancheros I had in the past but not in a bad way, just different. Looks like it was with some kind of white beans and I didn't taste ant spiceness as they usually are. But it was not bad. They were also very accommodating allowing me to replace the sausage with mushroom and were very generous in how much mushrooms they added!

Five stars, and I want to explain this properly because High Tide in Key Largo is absolutely a…read moreplace people should experience at least once. This is one of those spots that immediately tells you it's a local favorite the second you walk in. It feels homey, lived in, and deeply rooted in the community. The average crowd definitely skews older, which honestly just shows how loyal the regulars are and how long this place has been doing something right. We stood for a minute or two when we arrived, which wasn't a problem at all, but the initial interaction felt a little abrupt. Nothing hostile, just very direct and urgent. We later found out that Cathy is the owner, and it became clear very quickly that this place is her whole world. She works hard, moves fast, and runs on urgency. That energy can sometimes come off sharp, especially to visitors who aren't used to that local, no frills style, but we gave her the benefit of the doubt. There were moments throughout our visit where the tone felt a little rough around the edges, and it wasn't just with us, we noticed it with other tables too. It didn't feel personal, more like someone who is stretched thin and running on fumes. To her credit, there were moments where she self corrected, and I genuinely believe this was just a long day rather than bad intentions. Running a place like this day in and day out is not easy, and you can feel how much effort goes into keeping it moving. This review isn't meant to tear anyone down, just to be honest for future guests so they know what to expect walking in. What truly changed our entire experience and pushed this from a four star visit to a solid five was our server. Her name started with a T, she wore glasses, and she was African American, and she was an absolute blessing. She treated us with warmth, patience, and genuine care, like we were family she was looking out for. When we sat down and the table needed to be wiped, she handled it gracefully without a single awkward moment. Everything she did felt intentional and kind. She was attentive without hovering, respectful, and genuinely happy to be doing her job. There was also a sweet older Latina woman clearing tables who was just as lovely and welcoming. It became very clear that despite the different personalities, this place functions as a team, and the heart of High Tide lives in the people who treat guests with care and humanity. If you get that server whose name starts with a T, you are in excellent hands. Now let's talk about the food, because this is where High Tide really shines. The hash brown casserole is a straight ten out of ten. No exaggeration. Comfort food perfection. Crispy, savory, and absolutely worth ordering. The country style platter we ordered was also a ten according to my friend, hearty and satisfying in the best way. The lobster benedict was good, I would give it about an eight. It's a fun, unique option if you want to try something different, but not the standout compared to the rest of the menu. And then there's the real star of the show, the Key lime pie. Even if you are not hungry, come for the pie. This is hands down the best Key lime pie I have ever had. Perfectly balanced, not overly tart, smooth and almost cheesecake like in texture. It's the kind of dessert that makes you pause after the first bite because it's that good. Beautifully presented too. The decor is charming and thoughtfully cluttered in a way that feels authentic, not staged. The bathrooms are old but very clean. Parking is a little quirky but manageable, and there is parking available if you're patient. Overall, the vibe is cozy, memorable, and unmistakably local. Would I come back? Absolutely, especially for the food and that pie. Cathy, you are clearly working your ass off, and I hope this was just a rough day. This review comes with honesty and flowers, not shade. Five stars for the food, the heart, and the people who make this place what it is. I do recommend it.

Update: went back on last day - just as good. Our son got the same meal (country breakfast); I went a little off menu and elected to have chorizo on the side rather than bacon/sausage. The prices on the menu are pretty reasonable. I was going to order the bagel and lox for $16 but then I saw that the lobster Benedict was also $16, so I ordered that instead. I was disappointed though because the "hash browns" on the side were not the homemade kind, but a frozen deep fried cake. I was also disappointed to find that the "lobster" was actually a breaded deep fried mixture, like a crab cake. I intentionally did not order the crab cake Benedict because I don't like that kind of thing. My daughter ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon and Swiss cheese. It was good, and pretty big, so she could barely eat half of it. There is a nice view of the water from the restaurant. The parking lot is pretty small. I'd probably try a different restaurant if I'm back in the area.

From the pictures, seems like it's about to be a fantastic meal, right?…read more Wrong. This is probably the worst meal we've ever experienced. The first bite of the pancake tasted burnt, and we thought, ah well, it happens, maybe a bit too long on the griddle. It quickly became apparent that something was wrong in the dish. There was a flavor that was just WRONG. Almost as if they cooked in melted plastic, or made the dishes on a nonstick that was peeling its nonstick off as it cooked. The disgusting taste was strongest in the eggs florentine, then the pancakes, and then the French toast. There was one fried egg that I had that was largely unaffected, and of course the parfait. I did want to point out that the parfait was billed as Greek yogurt, but it really seemed like regular vanilla yogurt. However, given the other issues, this wasn't a problem. I will say, the service was very pleasant. Our server was brand new, so I felt bad having to tell her about the meal, but she handled it well. She called the manager over, who did comp us the meal, and we left a tip for our server. This is the only reason I'm leaving 2 stars instead of 1. The chef never came out to talk with us though, which I did find strange. Needless to say, we didn't go back. We were too afraid to do so, as we had no idea what was wrong with the food.
