Yesterday 9/23/24 was my first time at this office. I saw some of the low rated reviews, but I had a good experience. The receptionist greeted me nicely and gave me some forms to sign. I didn't have to wait very long when Louis/Lewis called me into the exam room for my echocardiogram. He was very professional and explained the entire procedure to me before he began. It had been 10 years since I had had an echocardiogram. It took about 30 minutes or so, and it was done. I am satisfied with the service and care that the DMI staff provided. There is abundant free parking underneath the 3-story building and around the perimeter of the building, including wheelchair accessiblability close to the entrance. I had a CT scan at this facility several months ago. I am on medicare. When I arrived the woman at the desk told me I was scheduled to get both a CT exam with contrast AND without. She charged me a deposit upfront of $161.65 for both. Turned out It was only the CT scan WITHOUT contrast my doctor authorized. The technician told me the deposit would be adjusted and refunded on my CC. Never happened. I was only supposed to be charged $93.30 per medicare. They overcharged me $68.35. I called billing. I was told I would be refunded. She gave me a call back number to follow up. Nobody ever answers or calls back. No refund given. This is outright deceptive business practice. If this is how they handle the business end, why would anyone trust they handle the medical end any better? read more

4-14-23 3 pm Came here for an ultrasound of my wrist. Was in the area early so came here 30 minutes before scheduled appointment. One reason was that I hadn't been here before so I allowed extra time. Unfortunately though they were running about an hour late. Once I was called in the technician glopped on the jelly to my wrist and had me awkwardly hold it up for her. I was unable to sustain the length of time needed so she ended up doing it with my arm flat on the side of my body. She must be new because if I laid down the other way it would have made more sense. She couldn't tell what was wrong with me so she scanned both wrists and said some one would read the results and let me know. That was a week ago and I am still waiting. When I got to my car to go home I touched the back of my head and I had a glop of glitch in my hair. Aka remember the scene in the movie Something About Mary?! Yeah pretty gross glad I was heading home so I could wash it out. This place is every bit deserving of there low Yelp rating. I give them two stars as I didn't have to pay to park a bonus lucky me. read more

Judge the place by the bad reviews I HAD A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE , I'm a real patient with real pains , I came here with fears from bad reviews I read , so I came prepared for disappointments , I arrived early just in case , and to my SURPRISE the place was completely empty (it was 5:30pm) I was greeted right away by Josselin and did my paperwork and I was taken right away EARLY! To get my MRIs , I was help by Amy! Very professional and very nice , she took care of me through the whole process, she knew I was in pain with my injuries and she make sure I comfortable THAT WAS VERY SWEET of her , then I was given a copy of my images and I was done , ABSOLUTELY recommended this place base on my experience, schedule in off pick hours and give them a call if you have questions before you go , THANK YOU AGAIN AMY and JOSSELINE read more

The technical staff was very good and were prompt in getting the 3 procedures done. However, the front office team isn't as good and why the 3 star rating. They don't understand what customer service is! They don't acknowledge you when you walk in, talk too much with each other, and paper work isn't ready, I was on time but it took the front office team 20 minutes to get me the paperwork to fill out! Not to mention they didn't schedule all my procedures the first time & I had to take another day off to get all three done! Don't know if I'd come back! read more

The front desk lady did not have the patient to wait for me to finish my question... And that was my first and only question. The MRI technician was not very thoroughly while preparing me for my MRI. Most importantly, the facility overcharged me for almost $500. Spoke to someone in their Accounting office and agreed a refund will be processed at the end of April. I still have not received my refund even though I called couples of the times between then and now... I do not recommend this place. read more

Terrible customer service. Super rude receptionist who has no skills, or training, for the job. The waiting room has a window that is shut down. You are supposed to communicate with the receptionist via a ring button. Sadly, the button does not work, so you might wait there indefinitely. When by a fluke of fake she happens to partially slide her glass open, she will be rude. Meanwhile, you are subjected to trash TV, played way too loudly. When you are finally allowed in and in the ultrasound room, you will be subjected to trash talk radio non-stop. Meanwhile, staff shout to one another from across the facility. Staff are obviously not trained in treating patients, which is to say people who are physically unwell. Terrible place. Avoid it. Go elsewhere. read more

Rude receptionist, interminable long wait times, they forced me to pay for the entire procedure up front when I only owed 10% and now I have to chase them for repayment of my overpayment that was demanded, otherewise, they would not have performed the test. read more

If I could get zero stars I would. This place is disgusting in both service, scheduling and everything else. It took them over a month to see me. They had to reschedule me three times and each time i showed up like an idiot and waited for hours to be seen. The first time I came in I waited for two and a half hours and they told me that the MRI machine was broken. Then they rescheduled me two weeks later and prior to that appointment informed me that my appointment has been canceled because I was double booked. I was finally schedule two weeks after that for a total of over a month wait time. When I came in for my third appointment I waited for 2.5 hours to be seen. A tiny short little man came out after i started complaining and told me that he was the "office administration" and that I was next for the MRI machine. He was like a little rude leprechaun. He lied to me because after he told me that I was next several other patient went into the MRI machine. Additionally, I was told over the phone that I had zero copayment and when I got to the place they charged me almost $300. The place is staffed by unprofessional, rude, incapable assistants. They could care less about you, your problems or if you have any place to be. The machinery is completely outdated and the place is dirty. The floors are filthy and the machines are from the 1980s - at best. Please please keep my advice and do not go here. read more

Pros 1. They got me in pretty quick for a breast MRI. 2) Millie is very personalbe and sweet and so was the tech. Cons: They said they were in network with my health insurance, but they were not. They did not focus on the area of concern (which I saw lit up like a Christmas tree on the disk). There is no mention of the area that has the lit up lump. They do not get reports timely. I have asked them to re-review and focus on the area of concern and received no response. They kind of leave you hanging (not Millie though...she is an asset to your company). I will follow up with a better review if I get an answer to a re-read of the scan. read more

Horrible they make an appointment at 3:30 pm on a Saturday, they call me Friday at the end of the day to change it Saturday at 9:30 it's 11:30 and I'm still waiting. What kind of service is this. 0 star!!!! read more

They apparently were unaware that many doctors want to see a CD of an MRIs rather than one page summaries, which caused a significant delay in my treatment. Given that they were either careless or ignorant of this, I wonder how good their work can be. read more
