I am 100% satisfied with the Geek Squad. I called them yesterday in the afternoon, and they were at my house promptly, at 9am this morning. With the Geek Squad, you do not have to worry about not having your phone calls/messages returned after 2 weeks, and being totally blown off, by an arrogant, disrespectful individual, with zero customer service skills. Scott was recommended to us, by two other local audio video, and tv repair businesses, that I had called, to program our URC Universal remote, but were unable to do what we needed done. (I had dropped our remote, and it broke. I purchased a new, same exact model remote, and needed it programmed). I left Scott a phone message, and he called me back later that day. On March 16, he came to our home to program our new universal remote. He was actually scheduled to come the previous day, after his scheduled morning job was completed... We waited, and waited, and waited, for him ALL day, and finally, he called us around 5:00pm, to say that he couldn't make it, offering NO apology, and rescheduled for the next day. Scott is very knowledgeable, and we were very pleased with his work, and his pricing was only $75, to program our remote. On Saturday, April 15, we had some issues, with our Yamaha receiver's sound going in and out... (We had purchased it along with our tv, speakers, remote, etc,, about 3 1/2 years ago, from Paul's TV, which went out of business, after the owner died, in 2015, after 51 years, so couldn't call them for service). I called Scott, and left him a message. He called me back within a half hour. I told him, that I was "planning" to buy a brand new/sealed in box Yamaha receiver, same exact, older model, that was only available online, either on Amazon or Ebay... And wanted to ask him, BEFORE I purchased it, if he could install it for us. He told me YES, he could, it would be no problem, and to call him back, when I had it. AFTER he told me yes, he told me, that he was also an authorized Yamaha dealer, and could update us to a newer model. I said that I would rather stick with the model that I had, because I was familiar with it... Long story short, I have left Scott FIVE phone messages, in the last couple of weeks, to set up a time to install the new receiver. He has not called us back... Very UNPROFFESIONAL... Scott could have, at least, had the courtesy, to answer/return a phone call, after he previously agreed to do this receiver installation...

I had a dedicated home theater installed in my home several years ago. I decided I wanted to change…read moreout my 16x9 screen to a larger 2:35 cinemascope screen. I searched the internet and found AVSI and Willy Videla. Based on the reviews I read I decided to call Willy to help with my theater. He was very busy but took the time to come out discuss my project. To make a long story short I hired Willy and this is what we ended up doing. Willy ordered and installed a 133 inch widescreen screen, relocated the projector and electrical outlet on the ceiling, lowered my front in wall speakers to accommodate the larger screen, ordered and installed 4 dolby Atmos speakers in the ceiling, at Willy's suggestion he ordered and installed 10 ceiling theater lights, ran a new HDMI cable, he did all the wiring necessary for everything. In addition he programmed a new remote to run all my devices and installed a Lutron Caseta system for my theater lights to work with my current system in my house. Finally, Willy transformed my equipment rack that was a "rats nest" of cable and wires to a completely organized and labeled beautiful space and built and installed 2 additional shelves. Needless to say Willy can do it all. He completely transformed my theater into something far better than I ever imagined. Willy is a perfectionist even down to the smallest detail. If you have a need for Willy's services I can't recommend AVSI and Willy high enough as I'm thrilled with the final product! We needed four OLED TVs mounted, and my husband was concerned about waiting to get them up given how thin they are. Shlomi offered to "private escort" our TVs, which included removing all four of them for the cost of what it would have run us for movers' insurance and boxes. He removed them all extremely quickly, drove them to our new house, and installed them on the walls before we even moved in, all for a super fair price. Shlomi is a really nice, chill guy, he's fully insured, and he's an electrician, so he does a lot of other services. We are definitely going to have him do some other things in our home. He listened, was completely willing to do it my way, and then expertly walked me through why a different approach would work better. He wasn't pushy about it; he just knew his stuff, explained it clearly, and let me make the call. I'm glad I went with his recommendation. A few things that stood out (again): - He installed the entire Frame while I was on a work call. When my call ended, he was already finished, the TV was up, and everything was clean. Zero damage, zero mess, zero disruption. - The same patience and lack of ego from the doorbell project carried over. He could have just done it his way from the start, but he respected that I had a plan and earned his way into changing it. - The result looks exactly like the Frame is supposed to look: flush, clean, like art on the wall. He's earned two installs of loyalty from me, and there will be a third, fourth, and fifth.
