They came through on time, and knocked the job out in a little over an hour. I opted for conduit vs a recessed cable run, but it looks super clean and professional, as I envisioned. Title: Beware of Scam…read more I reached out to this handyman for a small drywall installation project. We agreed on a price between $800-$900, and set a date for the work to begin. Everything seemed fine until the day before the appointment, when he suddenly asked me to send $250 via Zelle for materials. I had never met him before and wasn't comfortable prepaying a stranger. I politely offered to meet him at Home Depot and pay for the materials directly, but he declined and canceled the job. If someone cancels a project just because you won't send money in advance, that's a red flag. Be cautious.
