Service have gone downhill. I won't be shopping here. For shoes I will go to DSW. I was in cosmetics today and everybody seemed to hate their life. The Clinique associate didn't greet me or ask if I needed help. She looks miserable. The Estée Lauder young girl was so busy cleaning her brushes and pretending to not be there. I had such a good/bad experience here! I stopped here to purchase perfume and shoes for an event, as well as to look over the clearance racks since they have some of the best clearance items.( In my opinion)!!! I must say that, my first encounter was with Alex, the nice unseasoned fella who had a station set up by the candy, passing out samples. This guy was so much fun and energetic as he went over all of the candy items and gave out yummy samples. I never buy candy from malls but because Alex was so amazing I made a purchase of the hot chocolate sticks which I've seen on TV and thought that they were cool.( $5 a pop). Alex made me want to return to this area and grab more for my Grandchildren so I'll be returning. Next up, I was in the shoe dept which was a mess and although, busy the employees weren't around assisting anyone that I could see, so I moved on to the perfume area in which the ladies in perfume and makeup were extremely nice and Welcoming! I sprayed Coco Chanel on me, 1 pump and even after showers could still smell it lingering around my car and house, so I returned to this mall and bought a bottle later. Next up, Vince Camuto which is where it went bad! I found a dress in Jr's since Jr sizes aren't like they used to be and are now grown lady sizes/ style but then, this employee came over to me who works in this dept and (remind you it's Christmas shopping time) and she told me that the dress I was holding well..., put it this way, she made it a point to insult me about the size... not even the style, so, I asked her where the "grown women" dresses were and she sent me way to the other side of the store... after asking 4 different people where the dept was, turned out, it was literally around the back of the wall but across, from juniors Why this store wouldn't put all designers in their designers location, is mind-boggling to me!!! Designers are spread across the entire dept so you will see Mk here in one corner with the rest of it being in another opposite area. This is a horrific setup! This lady ( in all black) was a mean girl, and bitter probably because I was smaller than her. She should be moved over to the kids dept since that's how she was behaving. Who does that! Next up, Michael Kors which, I found dresses that I absolutely love and purchased. The EMPLOYEES WHO ARE OUTSTANDING and who caught my attention the most were, Chandra and Monika. These 2 deserve raises as they both approached me at the same time, to assist and both helped me to pick out items and provided me with awesome feedback on items that I purchased. They were also the ones who directed me to the correct location for Vince Camuto apparel. Kudos to these 2 AWESOME LADIES as this is what Customer Service should be EVERYWHERE!!! Overall, I had a fun time shopping here... thanks to Alex, Chandra, Monika and the nice Lady with the gray hair in the Ellen dept, who rang me up. So, needless to say I'm tired of going into Dillards and seeing how disgusting the fitting rooms are. They are filthy! This isn't the first time, and they always seem to be about the same level of filth. These should be vacuumed nightly Friday through Sunday night at a minimum because you are busy over the weekend. But also, wipe down the walls and clean the carpet every 5 years or so! This location is going downhill pretty fast including the selection of clothing this year. If you cannot maintain your stores level of cleanliness, I would imagine you will lose more and more customers that actually spend money vs. the hordes of kids there to "hang out." I'll have to visit the Scottsdale Fashion center again. Just to compare. I've never been in any stores there that are in this condition. I cannot imagine how this is acceptable by any store manager or the mall itself since you are an anchor store. Extremely fed up and disappointed. read more

The Mac workers are lovely but unfortunately the woman at the Chanel and Dior counter named Maria was by far the worst and most uncomfortable, hostile experience I had. If you simply are going there to try the makeup samples at the display either Chanel or Dior you'll be berated for creating a mess you didn't do. Somehow I was told off by her by making a mess of her Chanel lip liners (that I did not even touch, and maybe take better care of your sells products if they're a mess?), first I was being accused by her for making a mess with the lip liners (they're SAMPLES THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE THERE FOR ANYWAYS FOR GUEST TO SAMPLE) and then the second supposedly had to do with covid?? Awful, awful experience, and I don't understand why any human being would act that way towards someone else let alone in a sell's customer environment Maria, do better and be a better human. During my most recent visit to Chandler Fashion I sauntered around and was surprised at the selection and presentation of the items. Staff was friendly without being pushy. Kelsey in the woman's lingerie department is amazing. My friend and I both got fitted by her. She explained how bras should properly fit and brought a fit bra to determine my size. She then asked what types of styles and colors I prefer, and returned to the fitting room with about a dozen bras to try on. I went home with 2 beautiful bras, and she created an account for me with others I liked. Even tho I live in N. Phx, I'll be back to see Kelsey. So if you read my review for soma, I updated it too, you already know why I am back here. I am only 26 and don't wanna live in mom bras. Dillards has been the first place to always get my size correct and bras that support and fit my larger bust. Made the mistake of going to soma. A friend recommended them for a bra I can wear with V necks. It they kept giving me a 40 G or DDD. I am a 36/38 for sure and always an H. They lied. So I am back at Dillards. Dillards intimates staff is always shorts staffed (it isn't their fault that they have zero help) who ever is there is always helpful. I understand they are overwhelmed so the wait never bothered me. They won't sell me a bra they KNOW won't fit me. So many stores do that to make a sale. No wonder women wear so many ill fitting bras. Long story short I found a great strapless bra for my bday and it looks amazing. Does great and passed the jump test (ladies we all do it in the dressing room) haha. I want to thank Dillards for making my recent shopping trip during this corona virus time seem as close to normal as possible. Unlike at many of the boutique stores around town, I could actually try on shoes and clothes without any hesitation. Those helping me in various departments were friendly and knew where to help me find things I needed (well, wanted). I really like the variety of designers the store features, along with a variety of price points. And I've always loved their shoes (even more than Nordstroms). This is one of the few places I can find Vionics, which I like for the arch support along with the attractive designs. read more

ASREN was very rude to me when I spoke the words ' I Have a return '. I Returned some items and she said why don't you have a bag ?? I said is that mandatory I have to have them in a bag and she said no it isn't. I give her the 4 items with tags attached and she said she needs the receipt. I explained the yellow barcode sticker , the pop sticker is the receipt pretty much if you just scan it , she proceeded to tell me she needed a paper receipt. I proceeded to tell her she didn't need the paper receipt with having the pop sticker codes . She proceeds to insist on seeing a receipt. She acted like I walked in With no bag and was being deceiving , it set me off cuz I wasn't prepared to be treated so poorly upon my return. Funny how the attitudes change when they find out you are returning , not purchasing. read more

We love this Dillard's! All of the departments that we frequent have awesome personnel that consistently greet us and take good care of us (men's, big and tall. juniors, women's, kids, shoes, housewares, lingerie). Returns are quite simple as long as you pay attention to timeframes (some clearance items have a 3-day limit). Throughout the year they have big sales that allow an additional 30-40% off already marked down items. Can't beat it! read more

I've been shopping at Dillards on and off for years, and I really love coming here for stuff. They have a really great selection of clothes and other items for men and women, and they tend to be reasonable in their prices. I came here today for some stuff in the ladies section, and had a great experience as always. I was looking for a special bra to wear under a dress for an event I have at the end of the month, and the lady working in this section helped me find what I needed. I told her what I was looking for, and she gave me an idea of what products would work best for my outfit. She even brought stuff to the changing room as needed. I've bought other clothing items here over the years, and have always walked away satisfied. Prices are reasonable, but your better off trying to wait for a sale or find a coupon if they offer any. They really do have a great selection of items. I really wish they had locations in Michigan but unfortunately they do not. Dillard's had locations throughout the valley, but some of them tend to be either full fledged stores like this, or more clearance centers as I've found. It just depends. I do not know why they did this, but the ones that are clearance centers are set up much messier with less organization. Granted the prices at these clearance centers are rock bottom with up to 80% off, but you have to sort through stuff and hope that you find what your looking for. Overall this is my preffered location and store for most things I need. As long I can catch a sale, (which I couldn't this time because I really needed this item) its a great place to shop. read more

I trusted Dillards and bought a sparling shirt and jacket for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. I wore it less than 10 minutes! The sparkles later took 20 minutes to clean out of the car and they drooped all over my slacks, the floors and anyone I touched. I had to go home after 10 minutes at our event and change clothes. I was in tears after our children spent such time planning this event. Dillard's "policy" for selling defective clothing is a store credit - of almost $200, since I obviously had removed the tags. I paid cash but will NEVER walk in a DIllard's again. The faulty merchandise is their fault - not mine! The return "credit card" is in my junk can. Dillard's ruined a big event in my life, and I will never forgive them for selling junk and blaming the consumer. Don't shop there. Their merchandise is defective and their "policy" defrauds honest people. read more

Had a great experience at the Dior make up counter! Michelle was so sweet and enticed me to try out some products. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and background of the company, factors impacting skin health, and natural ingredients in the products. I loved that her focus was on enhancing beauty rather than picking out flaws. She made me feel pampered and taken care of! If you're looking for a foundation color match this was a way better experience than I had at ULTA and the cost was actually comparable even though this is a fancier store. They had some great promotions and gifts if you purchase with them too. My skin actually looked better tonight when I took the make up off so what she said about the products having healing properties for the skin seems to be true! read more

I have not been much of a Dillards shopper until lately. I have to say so far I am very happy here. Came in again the other day while we were at Chandler Mall. It was a crazy busy day inside the mall. The staff was still helpful and friendly. One girl in housewares even got us a special box and held it for us until we were ready to leave the mall. That is really above and beyond. The store is clean ,well lit, and bathrooms are also clean and well matained. The selection in the strore is very nice, very high end these days. Parking was a bit outragous, but it is the month of Christmas. read more

This is the only department store in the Chandler mall that has a decent big and tall section for men. I have always found the gentlemen working in that area to be helpful and not too pushy. Most of the stuff is Ralph Lauren and other name brands that I consider to be overpriced but they do have excellent sales and a ton of stuff gets marked way down on clearance at the end of the season so you just have to time it right. It is really your best shopping option in the area if you have a man in your life that is... well.... big and tall. As another reviewer mentioned they also have an excellent selection of ladies dresses. And of course the best part about Dillard's is how the put those little stickers on your stuff so you can return it even if you loose the receipt. read more

This Dillard's is much nicer than the one at Fiesta Mall which is about about 5 miles away. The variety in their clothing lines with all the major designer names as those at the Scottsdale Fashion Square and it's much closer than driving 25 miles north to Scottsdale. Remember, if you can't find your size, have the sales rep. check it on their computer system for the closest Dillard's who has it and ask the sales rep to call the store for you. I've notice that they're much nicer to their own employees than if you try to call for it on your own. If it's not on sale, shipping is free. If it is on sale, they will hold it for up to 24 hours or ship it to you for only $6.00. Why waste your time and gas running from one Dillard's to another looking for your size when they'll do it for FREE! read more

Love the selection and the sales are great. Customer service is always shit at the Coach counter and the counter in the BCBG area. I have spent many hundreds of dollars at both and have never been treated as anything more than a pest. Hire some people who make eye contact, smile and know how to say thank you or transfer one of the nicer ladies from the kids section. read more

I love shopping at Dillard's when I have a formal occasion because they usually have a great selection, but I am very concerned that when I purchased almost $1,000 worth of dresses on line yesterday, they could not forego the shipping charges of $12. Really? Macy's does not charge shipping if you purchase at least $99 so I'm surprised that Dillards cannot be a little more thankful that business is coming their way. I was at the Clinique counter today for some much needed TLC. I have dry combo skin and is sensitive to heavily perfumed makeup/skincare so my selection is limited. anyway, I've had a wonderful experience with Jazmine. She helped me with selecting the new facial brush they came out with and even did a demo to show how it worked. According to some reviews, Its better than clarisonic. I already used it on my face with mild liquid soap, and my face is very soft and is glowing. It vibrates instead of just rotating and its gentle yet very effective. It is made very well and doesn't have that cheap, plasticky feel like other ones do. along with the brush, also bought mild face liquid soap, clarifying lotion 2, and $34.50 deal they have with any purchase (its full of goodies) like mascara, lip gloss, travel size lotions, large beach bag. I had such a terrible customer service @ Macy's prior to going here and I can honestly say I will never go back to Macy's for anything. I usually get bad service there. For all of my Clinique needs, I'm going to see Jazmine @ Dillards for sure. Yay, I'm so happy I found a make up/skincare person I can go to from now on. :) read more
