These people are absolutely fantastic! So, when I entered, the workers here were surprisingly friendly and polite, which I wasn't expecting at all. The first time I came here was last May, where I was shopping for clothing suitable (no pun intended) for my sister's wedding. They were patient, humorous, and very helpful to my family. The worker who helped me today, Anna, did a marvelous job in helping me...Especially since today was my first day shopping for formal clothing solo! She was very patient as well, made sure to take measurements, and was super accommodating and helpful when it came to selecting clothing that was both appropriate for the event I was attending and thy could fit me. She was also very knowledgeable in what clothing colors are appropriate for what occasion, and boy am I glad to have had her in my corner today. Thanks to her, I walked out a happy customer able to breathe a sigh of relief that I got what I needed! In general, I've come to find a lot of clothing to be of higher quality and variety than elsewhere in the mall. What really separates them from the rest is just how much the stores accommodates the bigger sizes, including me. Granted, they're rather pricey, but again it's not easy making clothing for people such as myself so I don't hold that against them. Dillard's is where I come when I can't find it anyplace else. I was in search of a strapless bra, and they had a large selection from which to choose. The woman in this section was also helpful with sizing, and I discovered I needed a larger size for a strapless bras. She was invaluable. My only concern was how it would look with the dress. I need to return with it, to be sure it doesn't show. For $72, I want to be sure. And I had no coupons and she had no discounts. You get what you pay for! Men, if you're reading this, I bet you had no idea what women go through, & how much it costs, to look good for a formal event!! read more

We spent 2 hours and hudreds of dollars, and not one associate smiled, thanked us or actually acted like they cared if we were there or not. Last week I went to the Chanel counter at Dillard's with my friend who was purchasing some skincare products. I had never used them but did purchase 2 products for over $200.00. Unfortunately I had an allergic reaction to the products, so I called Cameron and he told me to return it and would give me samples of something else to try. While I was able to return the product with receipt I was not allowed to get a refund. I was told they only allow a store gift card. I explained that I rarely shop at Dillard's but was told that was the best they could do. I would understand if the issue was that I just didn't like the product, but I had an allergic reaction, and even had pictures to show. I gave the samples to my friend as I do not want to chance a reaction again. Cameron was very nice but I am Very disappointed in Dillard's. Had I known this in advance I would not have made the purchase. Now I'm stuck with a gift card that I have no use for. read more

I don't shop there often but I bought a couple of things last week. one was on sale and it didn't fit so I tried to return it. I was told by the salesperson that since it was on sale I couldn't bring it back because it was more than 3 days since I purchased it. No one told me that when I bought it and I don't usually read my receipts that carefully. I had no idea this was their policy. Does any other major retailer have this kind of policy? I did get customer service to give me a store credit. i had purchased another item when i was attempting my return. I went back to the salesperson and asked her to return the item and then I would buy it back with my store credit. She rang up the return and gave me another store gift card instead of putting back on my credit card. When I asked her to correct this she said that wasn't possible. Really???? Now I'm stuck with $100 in store gift cards that I don't want. They definitely live in another world which seems more than a little snobby. read more

Today I came to Dillard's on a hunt for a specific tie for my husband. I went to the men's department to see what I could find and Janet was there right away and asked if I needed assistance. She listened the the outfit I had for him and showed her the shoes in the shoe department which was right next to it. She found me about a dozen different ties and was extremely helpful. When I didn't see one I liked she brought even more me! She didn't get her feelings hurt when I didn't like them and was good at coordinating the colors together. Great asset for Dillard's and made my shopping so easy going and simple! I wish every employee would like their job this much and be this helpful! Usually I love a Dillards. I go because they have a large collection of bras in my size and their women's clothing (Especially clearance) is always a fine selection. On this visit, I went to check out the annual clearance of bras, and while there in the lingerie department, the store associates were too busy kabitzing about another employee to bother and see if I needed help (I didn't, I knew what I was looking for) I got to hear some interesting gossip though! Also while there, as I was browsing through the (horribly disorganized) clearance bin, I was approached by the Estee Lauder sales girl, she asked if I used their make up, I don't, but she offered me a trial of their base. I took the card, but didn't take her up on the sample,I'm a MAC girl all the way. When I finally decided to try on the bounty of clearance bras, I asked for a room to try things on and was just waved on into the trial room. Only after 25 minutes did I come out with my choices, to find the sales girl on the phone, supposedly checking on something, but the conversation I overheard was purely personal. To her credit, she did hang up and put through my sale. I won't be back to the Countryside Dillards. read more

I stopped by to look for a long sleeve denim shirt. I usually park outside of the north-side doors so that I can walk right into the men's department. I really dislike being forced to walk through the huge, overly perfumed cosmetics dept. if you enter through the mall entrance. The folks in the men's department are very helpful and professional. The sales lady in the Polo dept. cheerfully unpinned a shirt for me to try on because she didn't want me to be disappointed when I got home and it didn't fit. Awesome! This store isn't as large and there's less merchandise than the one in International Mall but it's clean and the sales associates are great. read more

I bought $400 dollars of shoes and because of her knowledge of the shoes I went back and spent more money. If you go to the shoe department at Dillards In Clearwater you gotta ask for Aurora , this great lady knows her shoes , and I so enjoyed how she treated me and also work so fast because I didn't want to be in there too long because of Covid-19. I normally would give Dillard's a five star review for quality , selection, customer service, cleanliness etc. but today a one star is the very best I can do. I was shopping for a child's clothing covered by a tax exempt organization and it was the most time consuming ordeal I've had in quite a while. If I need to buy children clothing again, Dillard's certainly showed me they are not interested in me bringing the children to their store. They couldn't have made it anymore difficult. Wow, what an archaic system they have. Wish me luck trying to explain the receipts to my employer. read more

Prom dress hunting?! They have such a nice selection but the BEST customer service. Every time I went in to look for a dress (three times), the same lovely, wonderful, woman was working there. She was the sweetest person! She opened up a dressing roomer for me and as I would try on dresses, she was so encouraging and would tell me everything she liked about the dress. Then, depending on if I liked it or not, she would go and bring back more dresses that she thought I would like. read more

I visited Dillard's, The Edge April 22. I went shopping for foundation. The sales associate helping me offered me a Facial. She said it was complimentary. I wasn't asked any questions regarding my skin etc. The Facial included Dr. Dennis Gross Spectralite Eye Googles and another infrared light used all over my face. The sales Associate said that in Las Vegas where she previously worked they where not allowed to use the products. Before I even left the store, my eyes where watering and my vision was foggy. The next morning I woke, I had 10 out 10 pain in my eyes and was unable to open my eyes. Luckily with IPhone I called for help and was taken to see Ophthalmologist. I was told I had obtained a " Corneal Burn". I was not able to open my eyes for the rest of day. I was so scared and frightened. I followed up next day with Cornea Specialist. Steroid eye drops prescribed to use for the next month. I have reached out to Dillard's dept store Manager Amira, she then referred me to Risk Manager in Arkansas. I sent certified mail and Dx and reason for Eye visit. Long story short....Dillard's is not accepting any responsibility!!!! They denied this could happen. All I asked was for them to be very cautious with Sales Associate using this product/ giving facials and to at least cover my Medical Bills. I have very dry eyes and light sensitivity since this occurred. I have been unable to wear contact lenses. Dillard's is refusing to pay my Medical Bills. That is all I asked from them!!!! I will never shop at this store again! I warn you, if there is an incident at this store they will not be on their customers side. read more

I've been going to Dillard's for many years now, but it was my first time coming to this location while on vacation. The kids and women's sections of clothes seemed to be well maintained and clean and I had no issues besides one huge, glaring one. I was shopping with my sister, mother, and my daughter and I stopped to pick up a candy bar while I continued shopping-- I held it clearly in my hand the entire time (even had my wallet out in my hand as well!) My sister and mother were also holding items of clothing, when a sales associate came up to us and said "would you like me to ring the candy bar she's holding?" To my mother and sister. We all started at her, mouths agape. So shocked someone would treat us like this. I understand being watchful as a sales associate as I have worked my fair share of retail jobs, but it is completely rude and uncalled for to passive aggressively accuse someone of stealing simply because they're holding a piece of merchandise. We were all well dressed and well mannered (and it's still no excuse to treat people who are not well dressed this way). I wish I had gotten the woman's name, but after she treated me that way I was so angry I just walked away. And proudly paid for my merchandise with another sales associate who was perfectly nice. read more
