First off I have been shopping Dillard's Deerbrook Mall since 1984 and this evening the customer service was a abomination. I have spent 10's of thousand of dollars at Dillard's over the last 40 plus years and have never been treated so disrespectful. I am a bit handicap now, I am older walk a little slower than I have over the last 40 years. I show up and walk in the door at 7:55. It took me a minute or so to walk up to the door. And this Dillards HPD officer and a sales lady are watching me walk-in, as they are leaning on the clothes racks having a conversation watching me hobble up to the door.... not moving just looking at me and giving me some sort of sign language of slicing the throat. What the heck. And she rudely yelled we close at 8 pm. Ok it's 7:55 doors are unlocked. Were closed no shopping. This was the east end entrance. I have not been in Dillard's since the pandemic and this is not the Dillard's I remember. The Dillard's I remember the Sale's person would have come up to me, seen me struggling a bit, opened the door and politely stated that the store closes in 5 minutes, and what are you looking for maybe I can help you quickly. All I wanted was a bottle of Sensuous by Estee Lauder and maybe the other little bottles that go with it....probable a $500 gift for a present. If I remember correctly the department was just a bit from the entrance. I went to Ultra first as I was directed there by my friend, and Ultra said I have to go to Dillard's.. She said, I have something very close....I have learned over the years...If she ask for something specific get it, no cheap substitutes. The sale's girl at Ultra said, no worries Dillard's will have it. Tomorrow I going to Ultra and tell the nice & polite sales lady what happened I will never set foot in a Dillard's again in my life. I was home by 8:14 pm, got on Amazon...guess what they had the stuff. It will be a day or so later than I wanted. Ok! However, I was not treated rudely with the sales staff giving me the slice the throat sign...... I also called the store on the way home several times...no answer....ignore. This would have been 8:02 to 8:15 pm.....no answer...so I have told my tale on Yelp. Ya'll going to go the way of Sear's....and you deserve it being so rude to your customers....especially your loyal customers..As far as I am concerned those two can take their attitude and put it where the sun don't shine. They wanted to slice my throat for walking in there 5 minutes before close. Dude's & Gal's I can no longer recommend Dillard's as a place to shop. Sincerely Keith Hebert read more

Service was horrible. Christy manager of accessories would not come to the counter and speak with me. There were two pairs of sunglasses exactly the same, one marked down to $9.80 one also on the 50% off rack NOT MARKED DOWN still at $28. I told the clerk the first pair was not marked down properly. I was going to purchase both. Christy refused to come out of her office and told the clerk she couldn't mark them down. she said they weren't on the same rack. Every pair of sunglasses were marked down on the rack except that one. They were the exact same glasses except for the power. I would have purchased both pair. Never again Christy! Hope it was worth your lack of action. That's called deceptive advertising. ‍‍ Not worth an extremely dissatisfied customer. read more

This Dillard's isn't as large as the one in The Woodlands, but it's still a nice store. I've always had good customer service, and as small as the store is, they have a good selection. The bathrooms and fitting rooms are always clean, and the employees are friendly. Their home department is also beautiful. read more

We pulled up for curbside pickup. After calling and texting the pickup number. We received no response. So we called the store number and we're told it'll be 15 more minutes until an associate can bring it out. A total of 20 to 25 minutes waiting. Not a good experience. read more

Despite having great customer service and friendly employees this particular location has the smallest selection of everything. Of all Dillard's locations, it is this one with the fewest choices, sizes, and updated inventory. read more

James Avery has the worst employees I've ever. The worst customer service I've ever received. The all the women that work there look like they don't want to work or help anyone out. I kept receiving side eyes when I was waiting for my charm at the front desk and instead of telling me to my face when I was right there that it was finished she calls me on the intercom and proceeded to look away from my direction until she wanted to help. If I could give this place a negative score I would. They have this one day sale and an army of employees taking your money. But if you have to exchange or return something, they only have one person doing it. The employee said that they only have one person doing returns because they only have one person in that position all year. Phewy that does not work for me. We asked for a manager to come and explain. Their answer was that there was not one available. Poor customer service. This place sucks...... read more

I love this particular store. The selections are many and the shoe department is outstanding. Service is always professional and help is everywhere. There are 3 stories to this department store and there is always some event happening. This particular day there was a fashion show on the 2 nd floor displaying the new women's line that had just arrived. This store is located in Deer brook mall, so the location is very close. I really like one stop shopping places that has quality selections. read more

This Dillard's is a smaller location that doesn't offer much. For example, the makeup counters doesn't carry a lot of the popular brands of makeup. Although it's a smaller branch, Dillard's should offer a bit of everything that's in their other stores. Not to mention,it pushes customers to competitor store such as Macy's which is next door. read more

We went shopping tonight. The young lady at the purses decided talking to some guy who was obviously trying to sleep with her was more important then her customer or customer service. She looked at me say hi how are you doing? Then immediately turned back to her conversation with an "anyways" as if any questions I had were not important. So instead of buying something there I went to Macy's and had a pleasant conversation and bought 2 purses. There was another lady who worked in the sunglasses. She was very helpful. My experience at Dillards in Deerbrook was quite odd and stressful .The sales associate must get paid on commission and it's very uncomfortable when you are going from department to department. I had sales associates follow me while I'm trying on coats to ask if she could take the coat. I was only trying on .I had another sales associate follow me into the dressing room .It for so frustrating I finally took everything to customer service only to be discarded until I demanded to speak with the manager, even then he didn't want to deal with me. He lied to my face saying the SA were only trying ti help and no one gets commission, I then told him his SA have already told to yes they get a commission on the sale. The point was I felt uncomfortable with each sales associate constantly trying to take my clothes and giving me no space . I will only be returning to Dillards at Deerbrook to return this over priced stuff.The manager is a complete douche .I will be cutting up my Dillard card. It was that bad folks ! I would give zero stars if it was allowed . read more

I just got the best customer service here. Did you know they carry Louis Vuitton in a private room on the 3rd floor? A manager named Carla that was so kind and friendly escorted us there and showed us the bags!! There is a small refined collection of new & a few vintage pieces of Louis Vuitton, Prada & Gucci!! I love Dillard's selection for women's clothing. However, when it comes to making a return, they don't make it easy. I had my credit card hacked and needed to put the return on a different card, which only a manager can complete. After waiting at customer service for 25 MINUTES, a manager NEVER arrived! I kept getting the same answer "they are on their way". It's not like it was a busy time of day. It was an early Wednesday afternoon. read more
