WHBM North East Mall has extremely friendly staff who do a great job of engaging with their customers. They have been very helpful to me in selecting new clothes over the years, ever since I started shopping with them back in 2017. If you are a woman (or honestly anyone; they're trans-friendly) seeking classic feminine clothing, I would highly recommend giving the Hurst WHBM boutique a visit. Their collections run the spectrum from polished casual to semi-formal, with some formal pieces from time-to-time, (especially around the holiday season), so they don't just sell dressier clothes even if that is what they are usually known for selling (note: WHBM has great jeans!). Worst service I have ever had at a WHBM. No one offered to help with additional sizes, no one checked on me in the dressing room, 2 people standing behind the cash wrap did not help anyone who came in. Not what I am used to at a WHBM. read more

While window-shopping at North East Mall back on September 26th, I noticed some really pretty clothes at White House Black Market and decided to stop in to look at what they had to offer. This was my first visit to any WHBM store, and after only a few minutes in the store I was already amazed. Everything about this store was designed with the customer in mind, and making her feel beautiful. The clothes are all well-organized, with different areas of the store used for different styles of clothing (eg. professional and more casual styles are separated from each other). Although the sale section is less organized by style, everything there is at least organized by size. The dressing rooms are all relatively spacious and have bright lights (though not overly bright), high ceilings, tall mirrors, and a plush seat inside each one. Although there's only curtains separating the dressing rooms from the outside, the curtains extend from floor-to-ceiling and are quite heavy (and really soft!) for a dressing room. There is a seating area just outside the dressing rooms in case you bring a friend (or boyfriend) with you. Most importantly, the level of customer service I received simply blew my mind away. I experienced some of the best customer service that I've ever seen at this WHBM location, and that's saying something especially considering that I'm a big fan of Nordstrom (which is another reason why I love North East Mall). One of the sales associates checked up on me at the dressing room and provided me with several suggestions for skirts to wear with the tops I had already picked out to try on, as well as suggesting other tops to try on that I would like. She also helped me evaluate the fit of the garments, just as if I had brought a friend to come shopping with me. While I wasn't looking for more than two items at most, I received several suggestions for outfits that I intend to follow up on in the near future, and bought a black blouse at the end of my shopping session. I would later learn that one of guiding values of Chico's FAS (WHBM's parent company) involves providing The Most Amazing Personal Service to their customers. I definitely saw this philosophy in action here! I go to TCU and there is a WHBM location just up the street (University Park Village), but I'll probably be coming back here just because of the stellar service I received. White House Black Market has the BEST merchandise quality I've seen. I've recently gotten a pair of black opaque tights that are not only well made , but the same price as the crappy ones I had. I feel like I've wasted my time shopping anywhere else. White House Black Market has raised my expectation of clothes entirely. Many say that everything in store is way too expensive but they have a sale section with reduced prices as low as $10. Not only is the sale section cheap, but it has a wide variety of clothes in it. Even the store itself is gorgeous. When you walk in there's a chandelier hanging from the ceiling and nicely displayed merchandise placed where you can see it. The store is very roomy, especially compared to the south lake store. At this location you have enough room for strollers and multiple people. I've always had a good experience at this store even though many people don't know it exists in the Northeast Mall. My first time going to White House, I asked a couple of associates who work at those really annoying stands in the middle of the walkways where it was located in the mall and they said they didn't have a store like that in the mall. I'm glad they're wrong because this is by far my favorite clothing store. The fitting rooms are very open and surround a gorgeous mirror that reaches the ceiling. There's a seating area that my boyfriend takes advantage of and it makes him a lot less whiney which is always a good thing. I don't have a bad thing to say about White House Black Market.
