NEGATIVE! Never buy a mattress and try to return it. They have scheduled 2 pickup dates for my mattress and never show up. They will not refund me for the mattress until they have picked it up. I went to Macy's during New Year Day and they have a decent sale on shoes. I picked up boots and had another delivered to my house due to stock shortages. Unfortunately the boots that were delivered didn't fit and I ended up returning them. However Macy's happened to continue their sale on boots and I was able to exchange mine for a bigger size. The newer pick up place (level 1 customer service) is hidden, so a prominent sign would be helpful. The lady at the customer service was fast and helpful. I ALWAYS order online and just pickup in store, so my review is based on that experience. I am surprised at how fast the ship to store is! I ordered some stuff and within two days I received an email telling me it was ready for pick up (these items were NOT available in store obviously). So even if your item isn't in store, it could arrived fast from the warehouse. Also, the times I've come to the pick up desk (1st floor, ground floor near Melbourne road), the cashier has been helpful, not rude at all. They might ask what you ordered so they know if it's a bigger item (I'm assuming they have the bigger items in a different area than smaller). No problems there. The reason I deducted a star was because the actual area this mall is located isn't the newest, it's a bit run down. This last time I visited (yesterday) something happened that made me hurry into my vehicle and lock the doors. But I'm over protective when I'm out with my child. Anyway, not a bad experience, Macy's made it easy to buy name brand products and pick them up fast! read more

I have been looking for a dress for a wedding in September, and Macys definitely had the biggest section. Had lots of different colors and different styles. Wish there was a few more employees around to help answer questions. Hey Macys, Sharmaine, is a rockstar. She not only was sweet, she helped me and a customer on the phone in a professional tone. She was patient with me when I was trying to find an old purchase in order to find the name of the foundation I used. Macys as a brand has gone downhill for sometime now. This particular store is horrible. Merchandise is strewn everywhere. The store smells. The bathrooms are filthy. Macy's is Macy's, what can I say? I'm not really a mall or department store person, but if I'm gonna go, I definitely prefer Macy's to JC Penny's (too messy), Sears (too.... not nice), Dillards (too boring?), Nordstrom's (too expensive), etc. Macy's has that nice traditional and romantic department store feeling, especially at Christmas time, you know? I just imagine myself window shopping at Macy's (but it's in the 1950's and I have a furry hat and a poofy skirt and I'm pushing a pram because apparently I'm a mom out shopping while my husband works from 9-5, and I'm going to buy him a new tie at Macy's and then go home and make him a pot roast and some weird jello mold thing for dessert). Anyway, Macy's is always clean and super organized. And everything seems to be "on sale," which is a joke but it's still nice to see those big red "SALE" letters because they make me feel a tiny bit better about buying stuff I don't need. Macy's has a pretty decent selection and I always enjoy walking through the makeup and perfume section (it's so bright and smells so good, even though it gives me a headache). Mostly, being at Macy's reminds me of when my Dad used to take me and my two siblings Christmas shopping for my mom every year. We'd all go together (giving my mom a break for a few hours) and buy her 4 or 5 gifts, and then we'd go to dinner afterwards. Man... getting older is sad sometimes. Macy's makes me sad! I've only been here once but I like this Macy's. it's pretty big, they have at least two floors and have everything from clothing to kitchenware. There was a little wait to check out but the associate was really good about telling us r would get to us promptly and you really felt welcome. I needed help at the make-up department but the lady was so busy on her cell phone (probably on social media) that I was waiting and waiting, trying to get her attention, with no luck. Another lady who was doing someone's make-up helped me. I left, and that lady was still on her cell phone- so sad. She gets paid to work not to be on her cell phone. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service in the Women's department at Macy's today. My daughter and I were shopping and she found a shirt she wanted to buy. The salesperson, Denise, did not greet us, say a single word during the transaction, even when I asked her a question. Denise was extremely rude and I doubt I will ever return to this store. I truly felt as though she thought she was better than us and it was not worth her time to interact or engage with us. We are the customer, correct? She needs to be fired. Atrocious customer service. Had interactions with 2 different "customer unservice" reps that had me contemplate walking out and leaving my items behind. Could be more unhelpful and the attitudes were frankly discussing. I asked a gal near the shoe department for a particular shoe after waiting for nearly 20 minutes, and she didn't have the courtesy to even look at me when she spoke. When I finished shopping I walked up to pay and the cashier rudely stated that I needed to go to another one. Holy cow, waited 15 minutes in line to pay... Hello, guess this isn't a problem for them. I purchased a dress yesterday and wanted to see if they have it in another location in a smaller size I spent 30 minutes on the phone holding and going back and forth to customer service for the Northeast Mall women's women's dress Department and another 30 minutes on the phone trying to get Vista Ridge dress Department. When you go back to customer service you ask for a supervisor they still transfer you to the same numbers and no one is answering nine people in the customer service call center that's supposed to connect you to the store and no one has yet to pick up the phone as many times as I've been transferred. Macy's you need to get better customer service if I didn't have to give you a star you wouldn't get one!!!!! read more

I was ready to place an online order for 5 items in my basket. I got a notification from Macy's that I would get 25% my first order if I ordered through the app instead. I did so; took a long time as I had to put all the stuff in the app basket. Then there was nowhere to get the discount! I called Macy's, have now been on hold for over 50 minutes!!! One rep even argued that the discount was 20%, waited 10 minutes for that alone! I could not understand any of the reps; non -English speakers. Never addressed the problem, just droned on and on. My parents immigrated from Europe, I understand that, but if you have reps for the U S, make sure they can speak the language. Macy's managers, I have now been on hold over an hour; no one has checked for 30 minutes. I will never shop there again. You have gone so downhill.Thank God for Dillard's! read more

EXTREMELY KIND AND HELPFUL STAFF!!!! The only Macy's store I go to because it is in our area. The store has very great cashiers and they help you with a lot. The Men's department at the store has great clothes and a bunch of good clearances! Staff at that department is also extremely helpful and friendly. Although, sometimes at the checkout desk, the cashier has gone somewhere else so you might have to wait there, but its not a big problem for me since its their job. :D read more

Called during Christmas time and could never get ahold of anyone and kept getting hung up on! Called just now (feb. 12) and same thing!!! So frustrating when you're looking for a certain bag and can't get ahold of anyone and waste your time on hold (silently) just to get hung up on multiple times and have to drive 40 minutes to check for yourself! I was mistreated by Macy's, i had a delivery on the 3rd of may for a mattress, i had an email with a delivery window between 1:00 and 3:00, the driver was there at 12:35 and wouldn't wait 20 minutes, explained to him that the email says between 1 and 3 and he is not on time according to the email and i was on my way, but he refused to wait or even come back and he said i have to call and reschedule , i called customer service that day, but they said i have to wait couple of days because my mattress is on hold and i have to call in two or three day to do the rescheduling, which is going to be another 3 to 4 days , so basically, because of the the drivers fault, i am now without a mattress. I don't recommend buying furniture from macys at all read more

I found a watch on the net that was sold at Macys. I called the number listed on their web site and got a machine that after following all of the prompts, and when no one in the jewelry department answered, the prompts started all over. I decided to try another department but got the same results. Then I remembered that a year ago I was trying to but my wife some perfume I got the same run around. I ordered from Amazon, cheaper and didn't leave the house. Abject lack of customer service is just another reason brick and morter stores are going bankrupt. read more

Seems to be understaffed compared to most Clinique counters. I have gone in twice and had to walk away because standing to wait for 15 to 20 minutes for help wasn't an option with my schedule. The first time was bonus time on a Sunday and there were at least 8 people in line to be helped with maybe 2 people working the counter. Second time it looked they had already run out of their bonus and again a line of people with only one person working the counter at lunch time. The other counters have ladies standing around doing nothing but talking. I am surprised they can't/won't offer up some assistance. I have seen them do it before in other department stores. I will go back to Dillard's next time. read more
