I asked if I could try on a pair of shoes, but the security tag was where the laces could not be adjusted. I asked the manager if he could move it or take it off - for just a few minutes while I try to the shoes on to see if they fit. I was fine with being supervised while trying them on. And the manager told he very rudely that he couldn't because there are a lot of thieves in the store - and he implied that I was a thief. The shoes were also a clearance and I was told they were non refundable. I'm not going to purchase shoes that are non returnable if I cannot even try them on. (Made this acct specifically or this review.) I absolutely love ross and all, but my main problem is their official website. You can't see clothes on there, just "inspo" or random outfits that people post on their social media which is then plastered on there that you probably won't even be able to find in-store. It's already bad enough that I have to physically go to the store just to see what they have, and often then not be disappointed since I often see clothes that are for middle aged Facebook moms or for 7 year Olds, and barely anything for teens that would be good to wear for recent trends or aesthetics. I've found some cool stuff like Nirvana graphic tees and some cool pants, but the rest is just questionable patterns, basic cut shirts with just a solid color, cheesey quotes, logos, etc. Again, I love ross and it's cheap prices on certain items you won't see in other stores, but the fact that it's official world-wide website is absolute garbage, and you have to go to the store in person is in my personal opinion; Extremely dumb. Im sure if Ross just made their website actually usable and not a place to just dump a bunch of pictures of outfits and decor, then they'd probably, no, definitely make more sales and reach their targeted demographic. read more

A store in utter chaos!! I have tried different locations, but the results are stil the same.And the store remains this way ALL DAY LONG! Children allowed to destroy mechandise in front of the manager like wild animals.Just because this isnt a high end store doesn't mean this is acceptable for your store to look like this. Why post this? Because not everyone can afford to go shop at Dillards or places like that. For the customers that ARE decent people, they have money to spend too. We were standing in line and my 4 year old son picked up an Orbie. I told him to throw it down. Manager MARKIE looked at LPS and accused him of popping the orbie ball that she said he was playing with earlier. He said he didn't and she got loud with him in front of me, my son, husband and another customer in line. Called him a liar and that it wasn't professional. He told her you play your music loud in the store and that's not professional. He told her he wasn't playing with the Orbie ball. She then got even louder and said I'm the manager I can do what I want. I got the keys to the door so I can do what I want. He said no you can't do that and she said go home get outta my store, I ain't in the mood and you need to chill (mind you he didn't raise his voice at her). He put his vest down and she said " ya get outta my store. What time is it? 11:15? " Then made a page informing customers about the closing hours. The young lady that checked us out was asked by MARKIE if she saw where he put it and she said she didn't see him playing with anything, MARKIE then told her yes he was. I believe in respect for the individual, so accusing and yelling at him in front of his peers and Ross customers was very uncalled for and unprofessional. Also causing a scene in front of my son that I had to cover his ears. And for my child to ask me if she was using the BAD WORDS because she was aggressively loud towards LP. I know when you walk into a ross what to expect. However this time i was shocked by the rude employees. Worst employees and it seems the managers have lil to no class as well. All i wanted to do was return a item, waited in line for 20mins. Take in consideration i was the only one in this line LOL... when i asked the women if she could take care of me or if there was someone that had to do the check out she was very rude and told me to wait. she proceded to check someone out that just got in line. I told her id been waiting and she said just wait. I waited and when she finished and called me up i advised her i had been waiting and i just needed to return a item. She rolled her eyes... I dont expect high end service. But this service at this store is horrible ... employees are the worse... NEVER GO HERE! read more

I'm not sure if this is a better location then other Ross Stores, but... it is certainly cleaner / nicer then the Eastchase store and considering how close the two are, I would suggest going to this location instead. (Besides you have many more shopping options in this area). read more

Its messy. Ross is messy. Expect that and get over it. This store is pretty well stocked and the people are cool.

Ross in general is a great place to go to find cute clothes when you are on a budget. Sometimes I find great deals and the close last a long time, otherwise not so much. This particular store is normally clean and the people are nice, but sometimes they don't have a great selection. I have sometimes gone to find that even though a couple of months have passed since my last visit, some of the clothes are still identical. The dressing rooms are spacious and the sections are easy to navigate. I like to get dresses there, but I wish they had more to choose from in regards to larger children and modest clothing with sleeves. The shoes are always messy and disorganized but cute and well priced, so I do not mind hunting. read more

The female manager here is absolutely the worst! We came shopping with my 72 year old mother who still writes checks when it came time to check out they declined her check which was a shock seeing as her books are always kept treated her like she was a criminal and down right rude. She called her bank and they assured her everything was fine, so called back and spoke to the manager they finally ADMITTED they were WRONG and pushed a wrong button they still never apologized for how she was treated only told her not to ever come back. read more

In this type of store, it's all about the check outs. Checkouts are NOT the place to reduce staffing. A smart manager will keep the checkouts staffed which keeps the customers happy which keeps you in business. It's a win win to keep your checkout lines speedy and efficient. read more

Not only this location, but this chain as a whole, is a hole. I have never seen a store with so little merchandise run like a prison. I despise walking into a store, and being followed by loss prevention the entire time I shop. What are they protecting? They are an empty store, and their merchandise is nowhere near high end, and they have security tags on everything. Can't try on the shoes, because one always has a big bulky tag. The employees are incompetent as it pertains to interacting with the public, and the security guards think they are correctional officers, and act like hard asses. I walked in looking for a coffee cup to match one I bought at another store, and the guy followed me at the end of the aisles, like I couldn't see him fake shopping to watch me. He watched me walk to the front, and all the way to my car. All because I am a big bald guy, who walked in with a purpose, didn't find what I was looking for, and left. You have no dignity while you are shopping. Kids run like animals, but legitimate shoppers are followed like criminals. These stores are useless as a tit on a bull.
