Please DO order from Dillenbeck's by phone, as this is actually NOT a review of Dillenbeck's, but rather of FTD Florist, which poses as the Dillenbeck's website, charges way more than Dillenbeck's charges if you call them directly, and then sends your order to Dillenbeck's for fulfillment. Trying to find FTD Florist in Binghamton New York on Yelp to review them directly did not work though I will keep trying to find where to review them so as many as people as possible do not go through what I went through. I was told by a rep at Dillenbeck's that Dillenbeck's.com is NOT their website. All they get is an order to fulfill with your selected delivery date on it. I placed my order for Mother's Day flowers, with very deliberate instructions to deliver on May 9th, to coincide with our card and gift, so she could enjoy them Thurs through Mother's Day weekend. The flowers were delivered almost 2 weeks prior to Mother's Day. I was very disappointed and called Dillenbeck's twice and FTD 3 times plus numerous email exchanges and a request through the FTD website customer service problem with order page to try to get a refund or some kind of consideration/relief. Dillenbeck's sent me a copy of the order they received with the order number and showing the wrong delivery date. Over the course of my 3 calls, complaint, and multiple emails, FTD said they would love to help me but the order I provided was a 2022 order number. But, that was the number THEY assigned to it. They asked for the recipient's name, zip code and phone number which I provided. Despite having all of that plus a photo of the order, they could not find record of my order. However, they had no problem charging my card $111 for it. I asked them to check their receipts for the day I was charged and they could track it down that way. But they just kept brushing me off by asking for the same information I provided multiple times, so finally I had to jump off that train, go to my credit card company, explain everything and dispute the charge. It would certainly help if Dillenbeck's, which creates a LOVELY bouquet, by the way, had their own website and somehow got unhitched from FTD. The rep I spoke with at Dillenbeck's said companies can just capture a florist's information and set themselves up as the website to process orders from. I do see multiple one-checker reviews and wonder if this is because people think they are ordering from Dillenbeck's but are really ordering from FTD. read more

My brother in law passed away and my sight impaired sister ordered almost $200 worth of funeral flowers for his attended memorial. Delivery was to be at 2 p.m. this past Sunday. What arrived at 2:30 p.m. were NOT what my sister had ordered. Both bouquets came with the hydrangeas spray painted a deep purple surrounded with white roses and a huge blue bow stuck in white cardboard vases. The table spray came with white carnations spray painted deep purple, along with deep purple babies breath. WHAT WAS ORDERED and REITERATED TWICE via phone No carnations No bouquets in cardboard vases No purple NO bows When my sister saw what she could SEE at 2:30 p.m. and said "that's not what I ordered", the 2 women delivering said "we can take them back" to which my sister said "you're late, there's no time. The memorial starts in 30 minutes". 3 SPRAYS were ordered....2 large and 1 small. Product looked cheap and she was embarrassed for Dillenbeck's to produce such a substandard product. read more

I just had surgery on Monday. I was sleeping when this delivery arrived. I woke up to someone pounding on my front door. I got to the door as quickly as possible. I tried to signal to the delivery guy that I had no voice by the smirk on his face he found that amusing. He grumbled flowers to me and pointed to a bouquet sitting on the floor and he left the porch. Words don't begin to describe how rude this delivery guy was. On this monday, my daughter had to put her french bulldog down after 10 years of being inseparable and getting each other through many tragedies in both their lives. At 5:45 that evening the doorbell rang to be handed the most beautiful arrangement of white flowers with a heartfelt card from her brother in So. Carolina from Dillenbeck's flowers! It meant so much to her she called him to thank him and he said that the man that delivered them was the owner on him way home......He told them how important it was to him that the flowers get there on monday......I want to thank Dillenbeck's for making that happen and the beautiful quality of the arrangement itself! Bought a dozen roses last month, put them in water and did everything you're supposed to do immediately. 12 hours later they were all DEAD. $21 for a dozen roses and vase for them to die that night. Ordering for a special occasion and need to make sure the recipient receives the flowers? DON'T order here. I placed an order for Mother's Day on the Friday before for Sunday delivery. Received my confirmation within minutes. So where did it got wrong? 4pm on Mother's Day I get a call letting me know the order won't be filled due to another local florist closing. This florist took on too many orders. Huh?! They offered to send an arrangement "within a few days" with a note of apology. Thanks, but no thanks. That's no way to run a business. The worst service I have ever received. When an order is placed two weeks in advance and special delivery instructions set it is not acceptable that the flowers be delivered more than 4 hours late! Their idea of making up for their error was to add 3 more roses to the bouquet! I strongly suggest you think twice before using this florist. I ordered a deluxe Fashionista Blooms bouquet for $69.95. The price with delivery was $83.17. The bouquet that arrived was significantly smaller than the one pictured online. The few roses that were in the arrangement had brown edges and there were very few Gerber daisies or hydrangeas. It was a truly embarrassing, flaccid, stale looking bunch of flowers. I called and reported the bouquet as unacceptable, and was given many excuses as to why it looked that way and how they didn't know how to fix the situation. I was disgusted by their lack of initiative and willingness to remedy the problem. Only after insisting that I could have gotten better flowers at our local Wegmans, and assuring them that the recipient would be at the same delivery spot for another 3-4 hours did they ask me if I wanted to exchange it. What an asinine question. The replacement bouquet was slightly more fresh and had a few more flowers. I urge you to go somewhere else. read more

DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST. I was grossly over charged for an arrangement to that I had delivered to a co-worker. I called 5 days in advance and was very very detailed in exactly what I wanted, to the point that I specifically told them the 2 arrangements I was viewing on-line, and said that I wanted the arrangement to look like the 2 online ON THEIR OWN WEB SITE!! The arrangement was delivered, and I had the recipent take a photo on their phone and text me a picture, it was NOTHING like I had asked for and looked exactly like a floral arrangement you would pick up at a GROCERY store like stop-n-shop or shoprite. I was sick about it. Couldn't believe that would charge over 145.00 for an arrangement that looked like it was about 50 bucks. I am furious with this business establishment. If you want to pay triple price for lousy arranged flowers you can get from a grocery store, and you want someone to NOT LISTEN To your request, then this is the place to go. I am sick about what was delivered, and more so that they completely ignored my requests in what I wanted delievered.
