The baristas are amazing and do a great job with tailoring drinks is to your liking. Best fudge i have ever had. My favorite is the cherry amaretto. The workers are always friendly and willing to let you sample each flavor until you are able to choose what you would like. it is $9 for a half a pound and it's a LOT of fudge. you can pick 4 flavors to make that up. the inside is very comfortable and homey. there is also a coffee shop inside which i haven't tried, but sounds really good. read more

Came in to get some rocky road bark and chocolate covered toffee. Great service on Friday. Came back Saturday to refill our candy reserve. Waited around for about 15 minutes while the proprietor was working in the back. She even walked past myself and another large group a couple times without acknowledging that we were there. I really like this chocolate factory. They have a terrific variety and everything is made right there I believe. The staff has been friendly, helpful and patient both times I've been there. I'm making it a stop every time I go through Dillsboro now. They also have a coffee bar, but I haven't tried that yet. Love this little shop! They have chocolates, fudge, various jerky types and coffee! It was a very cold and snowy day, so our train layover was shortened. Thankfully this shop was one of the few open and they were very quick to complete orders, even with 2 staff members (they where packed). Love that they had buy a lbs get a half lb free on the fudge. The fudge selections are extensive - one that we recommend the most is the carrot cake fudge. The truffle selection is very extensive - they have selections made with and without alcohol. The alcoholic truffle selection has one made with each of the popular ones - my favorite being the one made with Jack Daniels. Besides this, there are numerous candy selections as well. I absolutely love this place. It's a local chocolate shop that has a lot of good variety. They also have your normal store-bought stuff but they have a huge display of local made treats. I go there every Christmas time when I go to see the lights in dillsboro and on occasion throughout the year when I just want a special treat. read more

We took the train ride to Dillsboro from Bryson City and stopped in this store. You never know what you're going to get with local coffee shops, but this one did not disappoint! Chocolate was great tasting but very over priced and if you are going to offer coffee, you need to know how to make it. We got a 2" by 5" piece of milk chocolate peanut bark, peanut butter volcano, peanut butter poo emoji and a dark chocolate caramel bar, the coffees were large mochas and that came to $34 a bit much. The mochas didn't even taste like a mocha, if I didn't see the chocolate syrup go in, I would say it was a not bad latte. We would recommend the chocolate to people with a warning that it's a bit pricey and to not have the coffee. read more

Save yourself the trouble of having coffee here. Unfortunately the barista is far from knowledgeable when it comes to coffee. I'll spare the deets but my coffee I ordered was literally, not exaggerating, a cup of steamed almond milk with a little caramel syrup in it. I watched her make it. Great owners and great people running this place! The peanut butter fudge is amazing and the kids always love the chocolate trains. It gets crowded during festivals like Luminaries, but the staff handles it well, and it's always worth it to walk down the streets of Dillsboro drinking some of their delicious hot chocolate. read more

I bought two Smores, cost me almost $8. I don't care if the product is good, but this was so bad I had to throw it out. The graham cracker was stale, there wasn't enough marshmallow on it to see, let alone taste, and it was covered with a think layer of chocolate. Basically I paid $8 for two stale crackers. read more

Maybe we just went on a bad day? but we were stopping in for a coffee on our way to the Christmas train in Bryson and they had a rush of people (we own a small cafe so we are always super understanding when this happens) and I'm sure they didn't have enough staff but when we asked for coffees the young lady had a nasty grimace on her face and was slamming things around wouldn't look us in the eyes and tried to serve on of our group whole milk when they asked and paid for oat and they have a bad dairy allergy. The girls were snotty saying where and why are all these people here... Umm to provide you with a job? Support local businesses? The coffees were cold they didn't check the temperature, and they did not have their hair up. Maybe the NC dhec doesn't mind. It just felt really bad to be treated so nasty when we were nothing but nice. Oh well. We'll try another place next time we're up in the area. Shame read more

Coffee and beverages are on the left side upon entering. The sweets are at the back and on little shelves going towards the back, almost like little cubbies here and there. The shelved ones are vintage favorites. The back ones are fudge and chocolates in a case. Some are sugar free. I saw chocolate covered Twinkies and chocolate covered potato chips. The choco graham crackers are huge! I opted for a smaller dark truffle. I could not breathe after eating it. It was that good. They also have small versions of spirited drinks wrapped in gold foil bottoms. My husband and I shared some kind of lemon martini. It was O.K.- some bites contained bitter lemon, which I did not love. My husband had chocolate covered pretzels, which he enjoyed. I sampled his pretzels, because I have to have the full experience. They were good. The young girl working at the back is very sweet. Tom Petty's music played within and without the store sweetens the soul.
