I enjoyed everything I tried here. The staff are friendly, and the food comes pretty fast. It's a pretty casual spot to eat, with lots of seats. The prices are amazing! Steamed Pork/Crab Meat Soup Dumplings: not the best I've had but it was still good Shanghai Wonton Soup: a bit bland, but still a good soup on a cold day Beef Pancake: crispy, fried exterior filled with meat Golden Lava Bun: love these so much as a dessert Spicy Pan Fried Dumplings: comes with 4, each was so big

Would love to give this a 3.5! I've been wanting to try this for awhile and after my brother's recommendation my boyfriend and I decided to try it. The menu was not the easiest to navigate or read. It felt kind of cluttered and minimal in options. I've only had dim sum once before and recognized some of the dishes from my past experience but they also had a lot of the Chinese dishes that you can find at your neighborhood Chinese restaurant. My boyfriend really wanted dumplings so we ordered the pork soup dumplings which were very good. I wanted the crab and cheese Rangoon- this was terrible. It was mostly dough and maybe had a 1 tsp amount of cheese filling that tasted fishy. No crab detected. Just pass on this, it was bad. We also ordered pork fried rice and sesame chicken - more basic staples. There was just two of us and the food was fairly filling but I would like to try more dumplings later ! The staff was nice but seemed very hurried. The inside was pretty and very crowded. They didn't have a drink menu so we just got water- not sure what else they had available. They also have one of those little robots and it literally pushed the entire table that was connected to ours. Obviously not very great. I think overall this has potential to be very great but maybe could use some fine tuning. They also do charge a 3% fee for credit cards - as they note upon entering. They also do takeout and the food delivery apps which also seemed to be busy!

I was craving dim sum and so we ended up here. It's not quite the same dim sum experience as in Philly, but I don't mind. It is a nice break being able to order from a menu and enjoy a quieter atmosphere. Dim Sum Factory has nicely decorated interior. The service was good, including the robot delivery. The dim sum dishes were delicious. We ordered a variety of classic ones. The soup dumplings didn't disappoint. The beef brisket noodle soup, however could be a lot better. The broth isn't as flavorful. It was somewhat bland and overly sweet. The sweetness did not come from hours of cooking beef bones. Overall, we had a good experience. We will definitely come back to try new dishes. P. S. The tea we had was a rice tea of sorts. It reminded me of the ones from Korean restaurants. There should be a stronger tea option. P. S. S. The disposable chopsticks sucks. It would be nicer to have real ones.

Traveling the country in search of dim sum restaurants I tried this place on a visit to the Philadelphia area. The place was not too busy for a Friday lunch, with many tables available. Given the name of the restaurant, I was surprised to see not too many dim sum options. The overall quality was average, but the exciting part was watching the dim sum come out on a robot. Overall an average dim sum tasting experience with limited options.

We had the vegetable stir fry noodle and the pork soup dumplings! Both were excellent and super hot! Service was fast and not rushed. Would definitely go back and get this again :)

This is really nice restaurant serving a variety of authentic dim sum as well as rice and noodle dishes. The place is not too crowded when I visited but the plaza where the restaurant is located has limited parking and pretty busy place due to the number of other shops in the plaza. The service staff was really helpful and courteous. It's a family-friendly restaurant too as I saw several families with young kids dining in there. The Cumin Fried Noodles was really nice and tasty too. The sticky rice ball dessert was really good, though I personally find it a little too sweet. But overall a great dining experience. Definitely worth coming back if I'm back in the area.

*Indoor dining review* Our group (10+ people) has a quarterly get together at different restaurants, this time we decided to go try Dim Sum Factory, since couple of our friends have already been here and said the food is good. While the food was good, the service was lacking...almost chaotic. Restaurant: 4/5 Service: 2/5 Food: 4/5 Parking: Free parking lot ~Restaurant~ The restaurant is decorated beautifully. It has plenty of tables for different party sizes. It also has a private party room in the back for large parties 30-40 people maybe. ~Service~ Our reservation was at 12PM on a Saturday, it was not that busy at all by the time we sat down. They take your orders via handheld tablet, and Food delivery is via Robot. There is sure sign of Chaos in the kitchen. While we might think there is no way orders would get messed up, we were very wrong. We received couple of items we did not ordered, as well as we received some how 6 orders of Pork dumplings vs just 4 Pork dumplings, 1 Crab Meat and 1 Chicken dumpling. When we checked the receipt at the end, looks like everything was correct, just the food we received was not. We decided not to mention about the food, since by the time we received our food the restaurant was pretty busy, and the food wasn't bad. If it was wrong and bad, we might have said something. ~Food~ Overall all the food were good. We order an assortment of items... couple of Shumai's, Chicken skewer and Fried Pork Chop. But majority of our orders were Soup Dumplings (Spicy Pork Dumplings, steamed crab meat pork dumplings and steamed Chicken soup dumplings.) In conclusion, If you not in Philadelphia Chinatown and would like to try Soup dumplings, this is a good place to try. But It is not as authentic compare to Dim Sum restaurants in Philly, because the menu is very limited. Example: Jade Harbor, Ocean Harbor, China Gourmet, where you would get a lot more items for a much better price.

Very good but way too expensive. The dumplings were super delish, but they were too dear.

There are quite a few dumpling options that stay on the menu year round plus special seasonal flavors that are absolutely delicious!! I found them about a year and a half ago and have ordered almost every single day they've been open ever since. The dumplings are phenomenal and packed with flavor- we LOVE the Cheesesteak, Honey Chipotle Chicken, Mexican Street Corn and Broccoli Cheddar as staples. As for seasonal flavors there are so many but one I wish they'd make a staple is Chicken Parm! They are beyond incredible and I bought a ton of the flash frozen when I knew they'd be gone soon. Unfortunately they only lasted so long and now I'm without and my family is counting down the days until it's back. We also LOVE the French Onion Soup and Grilled cheese with tomato soup! They not only have dumplings but have noodle bowls that will blow your mind. The chicken Pot Pie was amazing and I'm dying for us to try the General Tsoz noodle bowl as well. The owners truly care about the business and their customers and the staff is incredible, helpful and kind. If you are looking for something a bit different, absolutely delicious, and addictive you MUST give them a try! You won't be disappointed! They are on DoorDash, GrubHub (although I somehow became out of radius after ordering for a year daily), Toast App and on their website for delivery. They have an adorable location in Keswick and they also are at many events in a Food Truck. I wouldn't give them leee than a 10/10!!!

My party usually intake weekend Chinese Dim Sum. Mona Lisa Vito: "I bet the Chinese food here is terrible. How's your Chinese food?" Vinny Gambini: "You just keep askin' about Chinese food. Can't you tell they don't have Chinese restaurants around here? You gotta let everybody know you're a tourist. Come on." - "My Cousin Vinny" 1992 film The staff speaks Cantonese which is very good to hear Cantonese spoken as it is mellifluous... at long last to continue this vernacular Chinese language. Chinese Dim Sum is regionally specific to Cantonese originating from the Guangdong province, ergo Cantonese will continue to survive as vernacular language. When we arrived there was one party of five middle age and elderly men who were conversing boisterously loud in Cantonese, but they were not arguing as it appeared that is their characteristic volume for communicating among each other. It seemingly appears every person within this party of five men want their individual spotlight as the desideratum to be heard without interruption and without judgment, therefore battle with loud vocally expressing one's thoughts. "Silence doesn't always mean you have nothing to say. It means you know that no matter what you say, nothing will change." - Snoopy, Peanuts by American cartoonist Charles M. Schulz I received complaints that I have been told I am too loud, but certainly this party of five men are louder. Ergo, stop with your vile complaints about me! My party of three found the quality of food average as juxtaposition for New York City Dim Sum. There are no dine-in menu to order platter entrées if the Dim Sum dishes does not eat your fill. Customer service is average. The Dim Sum trolley women appear nonchalant and less enthusiasm as they can determined to ascertain that my party and I are non-Pennsylvanians, but out-of-towners. We chosen Pu'er tea, bou2 nei2 普洱茶 as the default Dim Sum tea to help with digestion. The tea pot was metal but it was not boiling hot water rather lukewarm temperature for tea which is unorthodox for Dim Sum tradition. Business cards are available for grabs. I did obtained my sales receipt. Nevertheless, a Dim Sum Sunday brunch was a equanimity state achieved to balance work life in the company of family in fleeting times. Let's Yum Cha! My foodie synopsis: Shrimp dumpling 蝦 餃 (haa1 gaau2)- filled with small pieces of shrimp and the dumpling skin was rather thick. The dumpling skin was sticking to the paper wrapping. The dumpling skin was sticking to the top of my mouth. Pork and mushroom dumpling 燒 賣 (siu1 maai6*2) Shumai were well prepared and the mushroom were, gratefully, small and not overpower the dumpling. I am not a mushroom enthusiast. Beef rice noodle roll rice roll 牛肉腸 (ngau4 juk6 coeng4*2) texture was too chewy from the thickness. The rice noodle was average, but appear smaller covering the meat. Spare ribs with basil sauce 欖 汁 排 骨 (laam5*2 zap1 paai4 gwat1) - it was not swimming in oil and there were minimal meat, but minimal non-meat fat. Beef ball in bean curd 山竹牛肉丸 (saan1 zuk1 ngau4 juk6 jyun2) - it was not served piping hot, but average Unfortunately, Jade Harbor do not offer my favorite traditional Dim Sum dessert dishes: Mango Pudding 芒 果 布甸 (mong4 gwo2 bou3 din1) Almond pudding 杏 仁 豆 腐 (hang6 jan4 dau6 fu6)

Though a small restaurant sounds horrible, it was great because there was no need to flag down the dim sum carts or wait for service. The carts came by quickly and multiple times while the wait staff was readily available to clear our table. The dim sum is good but not as great as other places. That's not to say that the dim sum wasn't delicious. The basics are done well and each steamer came out hot. The only gripe I had was that the rice noodle rolls had thicker noodles compared to the filling but it's not that big of a deal. The shu mai, shrimp dumplings, chive dumplings, chicken feet, etc, were just as good as anywhere else. I would consider coming back just for the dim sum!

Everything was incredibly fresh and tasted like it had been out of the ocean for mere moments. We had pork-wasabi shumai and the hamachi jalapeno for appetizers and both were fantastic--the hamachi was probably my favorite thing across the board. We also shared a Sushi deluxe dinner, as well as a Musashi and a Tuna roll (I cannot remember what they called it but it was belly tuna and spicy tuna together and it was to die for).
