The best Dim Sum I've ever had and it's in the burbs. Ok. Wow. I am blown away. I want to eat here once a week. Fantastic menu. Soup Dim Sum are fantastic. Szechuan Dim Sum are amazing with a good kick. Pork and Cabbage Dim Sum have great flavor and texture. Their big bowl noodle soup with fresh hand cut noodles can feed you for days and is super cheap. Finally got to try this restaurant. When I get take out, I have to have a variety to get a good idea if I want to return. Ordered Wonton soup, pork and the crabmeat soup dumplings, vegetable bun, shrimp rice rolls, General Tao shrimp, and chicken stir fry noodle. All of it was excellent. Took me back to my childhood when my dad took the family to Chinatown in Philly once a month. I can't say enough how good the food is. Really good dim sum in the area. I got the Shanghai pork soup dumplings, pan fried chicken dumpling, and kung pao chicken. The dim sum items were very tasty, the chicken dumpling being delicious. The kung pao chicken was tasty, but I would mix it up next time. The service was phenomenal. Just moved here and this is already my favorite spot for dumplings. The veggie bun and the shrimp dumplings are delicious. The prices are reasonable and the employees are very nice and accommodating! Picking up the food made me feel very safe as everyone was wearing a mask and there was a wide table for even more distance. I can't wait to try more of the menu! read more

The Dim Sum controversy in Media is not worth getting into but if you're wondering how the new Dim Sum Mania stacks up, it's well worth the visit. The food is fresh and usually comes out fast. I'd have given four stars here mainly because we have had some hiccups in service here. Long delays on one item or sittingg for a while waiting for a service staff to take our order. Service was quick and the food was good. From the dumplings, shumai, steamed pork buns, sticky rice and spring rolls were all delicious. I went on Saturday night to check out this place because I craving for dim sum and this place came up as 'Hot and New' but when I got there it was CLOSED! The soup dumplings tasted weird. I am a soup dumpling lover and I am pretty sure these were not fresh. The pork had a funny taste. I had to put a lot of vinegar to be able to blend the flavor. We couldn't finish it anyways because we didn't want to risk felling sick while at work! . . The scallion pancake was a little bit burnt and they put way too much flour because it was VERY THICK and oily. But the flavor was ok. . . The only reason why I am giving one star is because the turnip cake was pretty good! I do recommend it. I don't think I will be back to this place tho. . . I was here on a busy friday night with a party of 12. The service and food was spot on. They gave us separate checks, delivered all the food hot, and were attentive to everything we needed. This great service was coupled with great food! Shanghai dumplings were delish, I tasted the eggplant dish, great, my singapore noodles were delicious, the vegetarian dumplings are fabulous, I could go on and on. I'm glad I didn't listen to the reviews! I went on a weekend with my girlfriend and the place was PACKED. However, the hostess was friendly and we got seated within 15 minutes. I ordered my usual go-to pork soup dumpling while my girlfriend ordered chicken dumpling and we both split an order of shanghai stir fry rice cake. After the first bite, we both agreed that we will be returning! The ingredients tasted fresh and balanced. Usually, we would both leave a place feeling heavy but everything was cooked to perfection! Delicious dim sum - this place looks like an off-shoot of Tom's dim sum two doors down, but it seems that the other place has new ownership, so the original Tom's in Philadelphia has opened this new restaurant. Dim Sum Mania has a much larger dining room and an expanded menu. I really enjoyed it! This was awesome. I was concerned after two 1 star reviews, but it is awesome. We ordered a ton of food for the 4 of us just to try a little of everything. The Sezchuan wontons, General Tso's, and Chingqing spicy chicken were my favorites. Tom's spicy dumplings were a little thick and not super spicy. I would highly recommend. Stopped in for take-out. Figured I'd tey a new place. It is difficult ti find a reliable good tasting Chinese food establishment. This is a new restaurant. It was very busy when I walked in. The space is open, but acoustically poorly designed making the space rather noisy. Take out: i ordered and it took about 15 minutes to get my order. Reasonable. Got home. The food was very tasty. The shanghai soup dumplings were hot and very tasty. I went for the usu general tso's chicken - crispy coating, moist meat, not overcooked. The sauce was tasty. I ordered the shrimp rice rolls, bokchoi, mushroom dumplings, salt and pepper squid, and scallion pancakes. The fried food was crispy and crunchy to absolute perfection. The steamed food was equally as delicious. Service was so fast too. The dumplings weren't too doughy and were filled with perfectly seasoned mushrooms. What a nice place! We really liked the food we got: pork soup dumplings, green beans with pork, and garlic chicken. The chicken could have had more chicken and fewer veggies, but the flavor was great. We liked the food better than at Tom's Dim Sun which is down the street and is also good but this seemed better to us. Someone told us that the chef from there quit and now works here. We got the dry pot pork and double cooked pork and both were delicious. We got takeout and the lady who helped us was very friendly. We like our food extra spicy and, unlike many other places, they did not disappoint us with the level of spice.
