BE CAREFUL - they tell you that you can return product for a 20% restocking fee at the time you make your purchase, then they later claim your purchase was 'special order' and you cannot get any return. We ordered some Antik Onyx Brick Split Face ($900 worth). The store saleswoman did not have a sample we could take home to see if the color worked, but we were told about the return/restock process and decided to take the chance (worse case, lose 20% restock fee). The tile didnt work. We took it back and were told no returns, that ours was a 'special order' and their return policies were not applicable. Classless store, no morals. There are better tile suppliers in the Jax area - I suggest you try them instead. read more

I do not have a problem with the selection or showroom but rather with the ENTIRE staff of this location. I walked into the showroom. There were multiple employees. They saw me enter. I walked around and looked at all the tile. I purposely spent almost a half an hour in the showroom watching and listening to the employees discussing personal things. I saw them look at me multiple times yet never acknowledged me or asked if they could help me. I was interested in a few tiles. Eventually I left and bought a similar tile elsewhere. THEIR LOSS!!!! I hired Dimensions in Tile and Stone on March 3, 2013 for an entire house remodel. Now just to give you some details, the house is only 1800 sq. ft, 4 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. It is now August 9, 2013 and the remodel is still ongoing. The contractor that is being used to do the remodel is always pulled off my job to do a much smaller job instead of just staying and getting the job done. They quoted me a month and a half total construction time and they obviously have not been able to hold up their part of the contract. Quite frankly, I would have rather gone with Home Depot or Lowes to do all the work. This has gotten way out of hand and I've tried to talk with the owner and they keep making excuses as why she can't come to the phone. Please don't waste your time with this company and spend your money elsewhere. read more

I do not have a problem with the quality nor wide variety of tile options available at Dimensions in Tile and Stone. The showroom is beautiful and customers are provided with various resources to help in the completion of home projects. My complaint and warning lies with one of the staff, Page Maton, the only design consultant I dealt with. She was very nice, sweet and agreeable, up until the point you either challenged, disagreed or worse, corrected her. Page likes to talk a lot and unfortunately is not a good listener. Although she did not have to design anything for me (I chose an exact design that was already in the showroom), she would speak to me with confidence, only to be wrong and then got irritable or raised her voice when I would bring it to her attention. I had a problem with incorrect or misleading information she gave me a couple of times about the configuration, tile details, delivery and installation of my order. I became fed up and annoyed with Page's attitude to the point of not wanting to deal with her anymore and contacted the owner. Page had given me a reference and contact information for Matt Podstawa, a tile installer. We separately agreed and set up arrangements on an installation price, timing and how we were going to go forward with my installation. All was well and when I contacted him to advise the tile had arrived. Matt suddently became too busy and didn't have his calender to check availability. I called him several days later to follow up, but got the voice mail. He did not return my call nor had the courtesy to tell me he did not want to do the job. He left me hanging. I believe Page had something to do with that. The tile did arrive in perfect order and the kitchen backsplash was beautifully completed in one day by an extreme professional who owns 5 Star Marble in Stone. Matt said he was going to need three half days to complete it, so him writing me off was a blessing in disguise. read more

We ordered Chicago brick tile from this store. They do have a very nice selection of tile to offer in their store. You must go to their warehouse for pick up, they do not offer delivery. The worst part of this purchase was that we were NOT told that we could not return any extra tile, and nowhere on our receipt did it indicate our purchase was a special order. When we attempted to return the four extra boxes of tile we were denied. I would think with a purchase of $2500 they would be more than happy to accommodate this request (as many other tile stores do). We were also sold 4 shelves, told they were in stock, but they were not, which caused some additional delays. With many tile stores in the area, we will certainly select one that finds more value in their customers as we retile the rest of our home. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! I have never written an online review, but my experience was so bad, I am hoping to spare someone else the agony of dealing with this company. I am building a large custom home. I had the owner come out and review all my tile selections and the plan for install initiated by my designer so he could quote the job as accurately as possible. His installer did such a terrible job that more than half of his work had to be ripped out and reinstalled by a qualified tile sub. Despite our contract, he simply walked off the job, leaving everything in a mess, ripped out tile and no replacements ordered. He was paid for his completed work and then never showed up again. He did not even bother to contact me to discuss the situation. I found out by txt him and asking about when the replacement tile might arrive only to have him tell me he would not be returning to my job. He has not answered my txt/calls since that time. He has pushed my job back by over 8 weeks since everything has to be redone and cost me a fortune in time, labor, material and STRESS. So completely unprofessional. I would NEVER use them again and would encourage anyone to find somewhere else to do business. Very poor leadership and business ethics. read more
