Love the drinks here! The thai tea is sweeter here which I love, definitely my favorite all time thai drink. The boba isn't regular black tapioca pearls, its golden boba! I think its a bit harder than regular, but I actually love that. My favorites are: thai tea, strawberry, and brown sugar milk tea! Change 5 to 4* : Ordered four drinks with a clear label of crystal boba on the order, but instead all of the drinks were bitter lychee toppings, super disappointed. This is an update. Drink flavors and quality are still great. However, there are a few things I've noticed from coming here so often. Sticky cups: Drink cups are 10/10 times sticky. The same rag used to wipe counters down is what's used to wipe drinks down - which makes the cups all wet, slimy, and sticky. Phone order "policies": I saw another review saying they ask for your credit card info and refuse cash payment when taking phone orders and this is something that bothers me too. It's just weird to even think that someone may have a copy of my info. Also, sometimes they don't take phone orders because it's too busy..which is odd cause I've never heard of this anywhere else. Service: The workers are nice, but we've noticed when the lady owner isn't around, they let a bit too loose. I worked with friends before; I totally understand the goofing around, side convos, and laughing - but it has made it difficult for customers and the person taking their order to communicate when there's a lot of distractions. read more

This was the first place I tried tiramisu foam. At the time they were advertising tiramisu foam over green tea. Despite my knowledge of the flavors and prediction, I got it. It was really bad. I didn't like the flavors they brought out. Green tea can leave a faint sour-ish after taste and it didn't match well with the faint bitter from the chocolate in the tiramisu. I went back a second time and got milk tea with tiramisu foam. It was so much better and more rounded to compliment each other's flavors. The only change I'd like to see is offering non-sealed for cheese foam. This add on is intended to be drank at the same time as the tea so having it sealed, we'd have to drink from the straw--from bottom. read more

However, when I found out that they were opening in Garland, I was excited to give it another try! The service is extremely fast and they're very friendly. Environment: Casual and Instagram worthy. It's cute and clean. Staff: They welcome you when you enter and thank you when they give you your order. Drinks: The passion fruit black tea was really good! I also got the kumquat tea but didn't like it as much as the passion fruit. Overall: It's one of the good bubble teas shop I've been to. It's quite interesting that the don't have regular black boba but golden boba. I know there are a number of people who would prefer the black boba but I'm fine with golden boba. The only issue I would say is that it takes a while for them to make your drinks. I went on 11/4/2019 around 2:20pm. The line wasn't that long (3 people) and each person got one drink but I waited for awhile for mines. I think it's the longest wait I've ever had in a boba place. I came here after I did some Christmas shopping at the Firewheel Mall area. I usually get my bubble tea fix in Plano as it's closer to me. I was in the mood for some bubble tea and saw that this place was new. I got a Strawberry Milk Tea. I did like that I could taste strawberry bits in my tea but it was way too sweet almost to the point of making me feel sick even though I had ordered it as 50% sugar level. That's my only complaint. Service was quick and the ambience is great! I would have taken only one star off but the sugar level was exceedingly high from the taste of the drink. It really ruined the drink for me. There is plenty of seating but not many outlets. They also have two faux cherry blossom trees as well as A Christmas due to it being December. Have been to the location in Arlington and loved it but this is our first time at the Garland location and I will say it did not disappoint! Went out for this boba run around 2:30 pm on a Sunday and let me just say business picked up quick - got there just before the rush (bless)! We ended up getting a signature milk tea with golden boba (which is normal boba but lighter in color), passion fruit green tea with nata jelly, passion fruit black tea light ice 75% sweet, and a guava tea with coconut jelly light ice 75% sweet. Everybody seemed pretty happy with their drinks: passion fruit was nice and fragrant with a little pinch of tartness, milk tea will satisfy that classic boba craving for sure, and guava tea was refreshing! To add, the wide selection this place offers and their beautiful atmosphere were the cherries on top not to mentions the fast service! RECOMMENDATION: I love love love the wintermelon milk tea here! Good selection of drinks, and the decor inside is nice for photos, but I wouldn't go again for a couple of reasons. (1) They only had one cup size, which I don't like because I can never finish the larger glass sizes. (2) they only have golden boba and (3) a pretty complicated ordering process. It's nice that they can adjust the sweetness level, but it would make more sense to offer the more popular sweetness levels as the standard. For example, for one of the drinks, most people order 75% sweetness, so why isn't that the standard? If someone wanted it to be sweeter, they could ask for that instead of the normal person always asking for 75%. It just caused more hassle than necessary, so I would rather go to Feng Cha or somewhere else nearby. read more

Disclaimer: I am by no means a boba expert. That being said, my boyfriend and I went to ding tea on May 4th for the first time And we both loved it. We finally gave in to our Boba cravings and since this Boba spot is right down the street in a pretty empty shopping center we decided to stop by. Thankfully they're still open during this pandemic and have taken safety precautions. I ordered the coffee milk tea with black boba and my boyfriend ordered the passionfruit green tea with lychee jelly. I thoroughly enjoyed my drink. The coffee taste was present but not too strong or too bitter. The Boba wasn't too chewy or too hard it was actually really good. I was glad that my boyfriend passionfruit green tea was not overly sweet which is the case at other locations I honestly almost swapped mine with hers because it was so good. I can't wait to come back and try the monster latte on the menu. I also really enjoyed the fact that they have a lot of flavor options that I don't normally see at other boba shops. One of the best boba tea spots I've been to in the Dallas area! Unfortunately for me, Ding Tea is located in two cities that are super far from where I'm normally at, but I was able to make it to this Garland location on the way up to a dinner. They weren't busy at 6:45pm on a Tuesday, but there were a good amount of people just hanging out in the store. There was a lot of seating area here, which was nice to see. I would have added this to my drink but they would have been hard by the time I drank my tea the next day (caffeine keeps me awake all night if I drink it too late). I hope to be back at one of the Ding Tea locations when back in Dallas (or that they open a location in the Bay Area..). Parking will be the most difficult part about coming here; although they have a good sized parking lot in this plaza,it seemed pretty busy. read more
