Having Ding Tea this close to my home is dangerous because their drinks are delicious! I've tried many of their milk teas: wintermelon, honey, brown sugar, milk tea, and etc. All yummy with the taro milk tea being my favorite. Their milks teas are creamy with the right amount of sweetness for my liking. You can also adjust the ice and sweetness level. The golden boba is soft and chewy. They recently started selling black boba and am docking one star because it was hard when I tried it. I'll give it another try once they have some time to perfect it. The decor is cute, festive, and aesthetic for those who enjoy snapping photos. Bathrooms are clean and service is quick. I will be back! read more

Located in an unassuming shopping strip, this is an adorable boba shop. The interior is well-lit with a lot of natural light and Instagrammable decor. Their menu offers a mix of different drinks and a good variety of toppings. We ordered the Monster Bobo Latte, Hokkaido Oolong Milk Tea, and Coffee Milk Tea. Unfortunately, the monster latte had too much milk and coffee latte was way too sweet. The best drink out of the three was the hokkaido one, but it still did not meet our expectations. I really wanted to like this place. Went in on a Saturday night and it was crazy busy. The aesthetics of the place is amazing. Really cool place to hang out. There were 5 of us ordering drinks and it took well over 30 minutes. ALL of the drinks were way too sweet, even after asking for less sweet. No one in my group liked our drinks. They were insanely busy during their grand opening but the drinks were still made perfectly. Although they didn't ask about sugar level during ordering, I thought the sugar level was just right with their original recipe. The boba is only slightly sweet but wonderfully chewy. They are an almost translucent honey brown color though. Staff is very friendly and if the place weren't packed today, the store is pretty big. The restroom was clean. With hundreds of bubble tea places around DFW, this one stands out. When I first walked in, the ambiance strike me first. It's inviting, clean, roomy and the music was not too loud, a good place to meet with friends or to study. The staff was supper friendly and was patience with me when I couldn't makeup my mind!! I had the Monster Bobo Latte. It's fresh milk with a caramel syrup and sea salt cream with Golden Boba. That golden boba is so good, chewy and has a honey sweet flavor. Okay, so I'm not arguing with the aesthetic at all. Their aesthetic hands-down is really pretty, and very well decorated, which is what is salvaging this place's 3rd Star (for the drinks - 2 stars). The actual drinks? Very very meh. My friend and I ordered the guava green milk tea with golden boba and wintermelon milk tea, which were both disappointing. The wintermelon milk tea was overly sweet and does not taste like wintermelon at all. It tastes like cereal milk, which is great for some people's preference, but it is not my preference when I order wintermelon. The guava green milk tea, on the other hand, does not really taste as though it has milk in it. The golden boba was probably the only thing that salvaged the drink to make it decent. If you're looking for a place to chill for the aesthetic, this will do it. However, if you're looking for good boba, go somewhere else. read more

My siblings and I go to this location a lot and we've been provided good service except for today. I don't mean to leave this bad review to spite the business but to hope the owners will see this and take actions because of it. My sister ordered 2 green tea yakults and it tasted like water, like literally no sweetness in there. See, my sister and I are huge fans of Yakult so we've tried a bunch of Yakult drinks from different boba shops so we know which ones are good, it just so happens we wanted to give Ding Tea's Yakult creations a try and end up being disappointed. So my sister went back to the store to ask if they can replace our drinks since we don't like it (one of the 2 drinks are unopened and the other one my sister took 1-2 sips). And the staff said they cannot make a new one even if we're not satisfied with our drink. Then my sister asked, "Even if it tastes like water?" Then the staff replied, "Yeah, because the green tea yakult don't have sugar added in there but the other flavors have flavorings so it's sweet" Well, we get it.. but the staff should've warn us that it doesn't have sugar in the first place. I know spending around $12 for 2 boba drinks + tip are not that much but it's hard earned money. We paid for those drinks and we deserve to be provided satisfaction with whatever we buy. I just don't get why you cannot remake a bad drink and give the customers' their money's worth. Just so disappointing. We ended up throwing away both of the drinks to the trash and decided to go to Sharetea instead to make us feel better. I don't think we wanna go back there anymore.. not until they impove their customer service. read more

Ding Tea is one of my favorite places to get boba! I may also be biased though because I love any Taiwanese boba shops! First things first, the decor inside Ding Tea is on point with lots of cute areas to take pictures! It's also fairly big so it's a great place for studying! As for the menu and the drinks, I looove it! The menu offers a huge variety of drinks from milk teas to fruit teas to lattes to smoothies, they have it all! My go to is always an Oolong Milk Tea at 0% sugar, but I have tried several of their other milk teas too and loved it. I definitely recommend trying out Ding Tea, you won't be disappointed! read more

This location is great, it tastes just like the other ding teas I've tried back in the Austin area. Their passion fruit green tea with rainbow jelly is my go-to but their guava green tea is also great! They have a lot of unique flavors and I love how they have cute star jellies. It's a great place for a date or even just to study, they have cute tables and decor along with a beautiful neon sign on a plant wall which is perfect for pictures. I highly recommend this place, the people working are also very friendly! :) read more

Their milk teas are amazing! I originally was skeptical of the hype, but they turned out to be so much better than I was expecting. I ordered my favorite flavor, brown sugar milk tea. Originally I was worried about the fixed sugar on the brown sugar milk tea, as I usually get half sweet on all of my drinks, but it was the perfect amount of sweetness. Out of all the usual boba places I go to, this place definitely takes the spot of best brown sugar milk tea. Ding tea's on the medium highish price point for boba, however its quality more than makes up for it. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've had Ding Tea in California, and it was alright. HOWEVER, this Ding Tea is awesome!! Super busy when I went at 3:30pm on a Sunday, but most likely because they just opened last week. I got the longan milk tea half sweet with lychee jelly cold, and this is actually the best boba I've ever had hands down! They put pieces of longan in the drink which is a nice touch. It's not too creamy and has the perfect amount of longan flavor. The longan may be canned, because it tastes and looks like it's soaked in a syrupy liquid. read more

Ding Tea is now my go to place for bubble tea. The decorations looks fresh the staff are friendly. My favorite drink is the kiwi green tea with boba, very refreshing. I came during their opening and they were pretty quick on drinks. Perfect texture on boba and perfect percentage on drinks. I ordered regular sugar and they were surprisingly not overly sweet. I came in here on a Friday night at around 9 and there was plenty of seating for anybody who needed to do some work of just to study. Honestly the price of the drink was ranges from average to a little pricy. My drink that I ordered(one size) was a kumquat tea with an added topping of aloe Vera for a total of more than $5. Service is good, and quick. The drinks menu are great, there are some that you can adjust the sugar level and some are fixed. I tried Ding Tea in Arlington and wasn't impressed but the drinks at Garland location are so far so good. I ordered coffee milk tea 50% sugar with golden boba and it's just perfect, very creamy with a hint of coffee flavor, if you like coffee & milk tea, this is the drink to go for. The golden bobas are perfect chewiness. The kumquat tea/lemon ice tea with added aloe Vera are really good too. Will come back to location for other drinks for sure! read more

i've always loved ding tea, i've visited a few different locations but the service here was amazing! i came in the evening around 8-ish. was not full, there were people but not enough for there to be a line. the customer service was astounding. the woman who took my order was so patient and nice, asked all of the necessary questions for bubble tea! service was super fast, probably didn't even wait for more than 15 mins (i had about 5 drinks). the setting was very nice and mellow as well! people talking in their own world, but not too loud. they were also playing lana del rey in the back w the bobaristas, great music with my bubble tea! read more

After visiting both the Richardson and the McKinney locations, my wife and I found this Garland one a bit disappointing. We were just at the McKinney location last Sunday, so we both happened to be craving for what we got last week (Apple MT for me, 50% sweet, no boba; Signature MT for her, replace 1/2 of the creamer with chocolate powder, 25% sweet, with boba). This Garland location said they have discontinued their Apple MT, so I picked the Jasmine MT, 50% sweet instead. After my wife placed the order over the phone. I drove out to go pick up. After I took them home, I realized I really should have read the stickers and tried both drinks before walking out; from how much we have loved the Richardson and McKinney locations, I seriously didn't expect our drinks could be wrong. Both of them had the sweetness level incorrectly mixed up. My Jasmine got the 25% while my wife's drink ended up being 50%, and they gave her a full-blown chocolate milk tasting drink with no tea flavor. She ate up all the boba and gave me the rest of her drink. Yeah, she didn't like it. Let's just say, whenever possible, we are going to try to stick with the Richardson and McKinney locations from now on. Minus one star for messing up on sweetness, and minus one star for whatever they ended up giving to my wife. read more

Ding Tea has become one of my favorite boba shop after over a decade of having one other sole favorite spot. The drinks here are prepared with a very well-balanced amount of sugar, tea, and milk. The tea flavor is very present, but not strong, because of how well It was steeped. The flavors of the drinks taste very natural and don't overpower taste buds with overwhelming amounts of sweetness. The pricing is beyond fair for what you get. The environment is nice with games available to make this a great hang out spot as well. The service, quality, environment and pricing is a wonderful combination that you wont find at very many other boba shops. This is a must have for anyone who wants high quality drinks or a delicious boba. I visit at least 3 times a week, and will continue to! read more

Excellent quality boba tea. Among the better ones I've had in the DFW area. Thought the quality was authentic, fresh, and refreshing. Tried the standard milk tea boba drink. The regular sweetness level was not overwhelming and the boba consistency was just the way I like it (chewy and smooth, not grainy).
