Words can't even describe how grateful I am to have a company like Dingz Happen exist in Austin, TX. I had an unfortunate mishap that happened to my Tesla which resulted in a nickel-size ding. I visited multiple PDR places in Austin, TX and most of them gave me an absurd quote estimate on getting this repaired. Based upon the number of great reviews, I was convinced that Dingz Happen was the best PDR shop in Austin. That is actually the case based on my actual experience. I initially solicited quotes from competitors. Those were outrageously high and some did not credibility recognize the scope of the damage that I needed repaired. I finally found Dingz Happen. They provided a very reasonable price and was able to schedule me for the next day. Small shop -- big talent. The owner, Steve, performed the work. The dent was challenging because it was on the body line. He meticulously worked on the repair. About 45 minutes later the dent was completely gone. I cannot detect any residual damage. It looks perfect! I hope to never need to see him again, but he will be the first and only person that I contact if I ever need another repair. read more

I swiped a painted curb in my Impreza sport which is pretty low to the ground. Had an unsightly dent in the front bumper and red paint streaks. Nothing that impacted driving but I didn't like to look at it. Got a few quotes and body shops were quoting me upwards of $1000 to repaint the entire bumper but I didn't want to drop that kind of money. Steven quickly got back to me and explained my options. He was honest about the limits of his services and we set a time for me to bring my car to his shop. In just a short time he had popped the dent back out and cleaned up the paint scrapes. And charged me SIGNIFICANTLY less than anyone else quoted me. He then told me what I could do to touch up the paint if I wanted. I wasn't looking for it to look brand new - but I wanted it cleaned up and that is exactly what he did. If you are looking for an honest shop that does good work, this is the place. My wife's Miata had two small parking lot dings on her left front fender. I took it to a highly rated Paintless Dent Repair shop on Congress and got a bid of $190, plus they said they couldn't get to it til next month. Knowing Lonestar PDR was close by, I took it to Steven to get a second bid. His bid was half the price of the other place and he fixed it right then and there while I waited. These guys did a great job getting out a few dings in my Lexus at a reasonable price. They also waxed every inch of the paint - including the roof. They ordered the paint for my truck which is a tricky grey/blue and agreed to touch up the 'bare spots' when it comes in. For now, it looks like it's new again. I walked back and chilled in their office till he was done. He gave me a printed estimate, also a printed receipt and one to my email. The dent was completely gone.
