Locally owned, with homemade by grandmom meatballs, and Italian wedding soup. Also pork sandwiches that are excellent. I'm pretty sure you could bring your own bottle as this small restaurant is very casual. They do a big takeout business as well. We have been hunting for a good, local pizza place. We were referred here by a friend. We tried the bruschetta pizza and the kids had a large cheese pizza with bacon. The kids loved theirs. They said there was a nice amount of bacon on it and that the sauce was delicious. The bruschetta was more substantial than I had expected. It was very good, especially the marinated tomatoes. Went in dinner thinking we should support local restaurants. This guy's could not make a simple garlic and oil spaghetti for my partner. Lol , not only that they still charged us ( rightfully but left a sour taste in my mouth ) for fountain soda which we could not drink as they could not make the pasta and we left. We frequented the more popular pizza place down the street for years, but Main St's Sweetie Pie and Bruschetta won us over. They are out "go to" now. Also, they are obviously a small business that cares: Last week, our delivery guy locked himself out of his car while delivering to our house in the rain. The owner drove out to make sure his delivery guy was OK and to let him sit in his car. (We didn't have a problem with the delivery guy waiting in our house for the LPT PD to come unlock his car, but the owner went out of his way to ensure we were social-distancing.) Ordered a couple of pies on a Friday night. For the most part, the Sweetie Pie tasted good, but contained two HUGE bubbles on the pie. I'm surprised they sent it out the door. Visiting from CA so wanted to try out a Philly cheese steak sandwich - we ordered the Wedding Soup, a meatball sub, 2 different cheese steak sandwiches and the honey bbq bone in wings. We all split them so that we could each try them out (4 of us). OMG - the soup and the wings are over the top good. As Guy Fiori would say, you can hear the crunch on those wings. The cheese steaks were also amazing. Ended with desserts - the mini Cannoli's - gone in seconds. The peanut butter chocolate pie was a little on the rich side but oh so good. Tonight decided to get takeout - chicken Cesar wrap, cheesesteak, and a meatball Parm sandwich which surprisingly came to $31 which was shocking enough. Get home and the meatball sub is so burnt it is black and completely inedible. Disgrace to even wrap it like that. Called and complained and all girl on the phone said they could do was write my name down and give me a free meatball hoagie next time??? What kind of service is that? Well, we tried again but it really was not better. We got a pizza and the bottom was burnt bad enough that you could taste it. I tried ordering the CJ's fries again but they once again came without the season advertised. We ordered the Chicken Parm entrée but got the sub. Ordering was still difficult too. Perhaps it is loud and they have trouble hearing, but it seems to be more difficult than anywhere else. We discovered this place a few months ago when they had a Groupon offer. The owner and his wife greeted us and made amazing suggestions (and even gave us some samples since it was our first visit). I always go for chicken parmigiana as my benchmark option and theirs has a real homemade authentic taste - perfect. We've been back several time and recently tried their Sweetie Pie, a sweet cheese and tomato pizza that's pretty spectacular even without any toppings. My only improvement would be on the dessert selection, but what they have is really good. Living in the area for more than a year now, I've gotten tons of ads in the mail about this place. The other day, I finally took the plunge and went here - good thing that I did! I've been looking for a really good and LOCAL pizza joint, and while I've found some good places (e.g. Giovanni's in Royersford), they aren't close. Here's what I ordered at Main Street: *Appetizer: Jalapeno poppers - They were SO fresh! They just came out of the fryer and were so deliciously gooey - cream cheese and a jalapeno, deep fried. Mmm! *Pizza: Special Pie - a variety of peppers, pepperoni and sausage. Got the large and yes, it was LARGE! *Dessert: Zeppolis. I heard about the zeppolis from Yelp and man, I am so glad that I ordered them - only $2! They are a doughnut-like creation, you can get them in cinnamon or powdered sugar. They're served with a side of chocolate sauce. Well, I certainly know where I'll be going back for pizza in the future! I order mostly specialty pizza, fries, and boneless wings - all are delicious. I'd highly recommend the chicken parm pizza....Margarita is good too. Boardwalk fries are amazing - exactly like fries at the shore - thick, fresh cut, and nice and soft. Past few times I've ordered it's been inconsistent - pizza was undercooked and doughy. Ordered turkey burger four consecutive times (every time it's been great) - but the first time I received "Main Street chips" which are homemade chips (delicious). The next two times I received HERS brand chips in a bag. Last (and final time), they gave me literally 3 "Main Street chips." What gives? Can you spare them? Customer service is horrible. The high school teenie boppers that are hired to answer the phone are stupid. They don't aren't even familiar with the menu. Total customer service failure. I used to order from here for delivery all the time. Food was decent. Your usual pizzeria food. Wings were good. Called tonight and was told they no longer deliver to my address. Mind you I'm 4 miles away. When I asked when the policy changed they told me a month ago. At that point i explained that they had delivered to me 2 days ago. The response was "well no, sorry we can't." I manage a large business who also used to use this place for parties. Still fairly new to the area, Main Street is one of my go-to places. They have 2 other locations, but I've only been to this one. They have some great and creative specialty pizzas, and if you go on a slow night they will really do a great job with it. I haven't had anything from Main Street that I didn't like, but some items are certainly better than others. The "Famous Fat-Boy Burger" is terribly unhealthy, and it tastes it, but it's delicious if you're into a big heavy burger. They use real chunks of chicken in their chicken cheesesteaks and chicken sandwiches, which some people don't like, but I prefer. "The Americano" is a great chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, cheese. "The Rosa" is a little heavier (but delicious), with barbecue sauce and cheese wiz. The eating area is clean, but usually empty. It seems they do much more business off of delivery and pick up, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. Main street is the kind of place that is great if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go far out of my way for it, there are little sandwich shops all over the place of similar quality. That being said, they're well worth a try if you're in the area. read more

Tested several different types of pizza that they catered for an event. By far the best one was the sweetie pie, which is a modified version of Franzone's pizza from Bridgeport. They use provolone cheese and a sweet version of pizza sauce on top. It is absolutely phenomenal. Everything this place makes is very good, but the sweetie pie pizza is to die for. read more

I have hit and miss experiences with this eatery. Recently my food was subpar at best, especially with regards to the white pizza I got (it was unevenly cooked and some of it was bitter and oily). I personally don't like the rolls they use for the steak sandwiches but overall the sandwiches are good. The appetizers and various sandwiches are generally a good bet. Like I said originally, my recent orders have been subpar at best. Half my order is fine while the other items taste just plain bad or are a mess. I'll try ordering from here again and see if the quality and consistency improve. I hope they do get better since they are one of the few places in the area that deliver. read more
