Nice cracked in uneven floors for my special needs daughter to fall over.

I absolutely recommend this to no one. This was absolutely the worst event I've been to with my daughter. I paid for the upgraded VIP package and at no point during the day was I separated or asked about my VIP status. anyone who purchased a ticket could do the exact same thing as my VIP ticket. I can't even explain how poorly ran this recent was also. it was extremely hot yes they had fans but still. for the amount of money. do better. They were not polite. I do not recommend this to anyone. I am currently in the process of trying to get at least some of my money back. I would hope that after seeing this review and other disappointing reviews, they would do the right thing and give me a full refund. I am absolutely disappointed and frustrated. I took a picture with my daughter in front of a green screen that I paid extra money for after paying extra money for my VIP ticket that was 12 hours ago , and I still haven't received that picture. Do yourself a favor avoid these people and this event.

Brachiosaurus (but according to the incorrect audio tour, this was a Coelophysis)

My goodness... I can't believe we paid $79 for this crap. Not only that, we spent an entire afternoon waiting in line for this (4 hours in & out) and had to brave the nasty Porta-Potties. Precious time we will never get back! I wish I read the reviews before caving in to my child's desire to experience Dinosaur Adventure Bay Area Drive-Thru. It is nothing like what is shown in the commercials or even on their website. In fact, the dinosaurs at Lost Worlds Adventures (in Livermore) looked more realistic. Most of the displays were unimpressive although a few of the larger dinosaurs like the T-Rex were somewhat interesting. Our main complaint is the sloppiness of the event organizer. Not only was the audio tour completely incorrect (the recording states that it is for the Seattle Audio Tour), most scenes were completely unrealistic with bright orange cones showing in the display. In addition, many of the dinosaurs were not labeled and we had to take a guess what they were. This production group is extremely lazy and incompetent. Do not recommend!

This event was complete crap! I've never seen anything so janky in my life. It's made worse that we spent over $150 to attend. Never again.

Thus the park is not that crowded but it still takes very long for rides. If this is improved, park's memberships and attendees will double or triple. Even during the summer when kids are out, the park is quite empty for a weekday afternoon. Major upkeep, spiderwebs, cleanliness, paint, are all needed upgrades and regular maintenance. Got a fantastic parking spot close to the entrance. Opted to walk ~10 minutes to the entrance instead of taking the trolley/bus. My husband and I have the gold pass and are all about trying to maximize our value. The gold pass alone has been great for saving on parking costs after multiple visits. We were also able to buy Bring-A-Friend discounted tickets at Discovery Kingdom even though our home park is California's Great America. In comparison to California's Great America, I found the employees here much more pleasant and efficient in loading rides and doing safety checks. Waits for rides (included kiddie rides) didn't feel as long and it made a huge difference in our experience! My husband got the Fast Lane Ultimate and had a great experience squeezing in about 15 rides with no long waits. Mainly just needed to wait his turn as a car finished up. As for food, if you plan to stay a while and eat there, highly recommend the all day dining plan. The premium all day dining plan includes free refills (ICEEs included) and we totally got our money's worth within two meals! We shared food from two dining plans for five adults and a young toddler and were pretty full by the end of the day. There were plenty of tables with umbrellas for shade, so didn't have trouble finding a spot on a Thursday, but can see it being a problem when it's more crowded. Restrooms were very clean and plentiful. My husband and I accidentally forgot our diaper bag and thankfully, the shops had emergency diapers kits. Overall, very pleasant experience going on a non-peak day!

We visited on a Sunday, and it wasn't too crowded, which was nice because the kids had plenty of room to play. They also have party rooms available, and the rooms are a good size for birthday celebrations and group events. My only suggestion is that the food court service could be more attentive. It often seemed like no one was at the counter when assistance was needed. Overall, it was a fun experience, and I'd recommend it for families with young children.

My group participated in the mini golf with neon, and glow in the dark theme. The children had a blast. The kid golf clubs were filthy. I did make a comment to the young staff, it seemed as if they're not cleaned often. There are three bathroom stalls, not enough to accommodate the plethora of children coming. Plus, there was no soap and the second time I escorted the girls to the bathroom there were no paper towels. Are there bathroom checked to replenish these items? The play area was a hot mess two female staff was sitting and talking, later I did see them picking up balls from the ball pit. But no supervision or enforcing rules with the children. Overall the children enjoyed themselves but the lack of staff supervision, dirty equipment, and no soap and paper towels in the female bathroom, I wouldn't recommend.

At $80 per child for the most basic package on a weekend I expected a higher level of service. Throughout the party, I had to ask for everything. I had to request water pitchers, ask for a candle and lighter, and no one offered to help cut the cake. The staff didn't offer much help coordinating the event. I've had parties at Pump It Up, where the staff was much more attentive and proactive. I also had an unpleasant interaction with an employee (Scott?). The employee's old white car was parked in front of the facility, with its windows completely down and a cracked windshield, and its alarm went off. The employee came outside, WALKED ON THE HOOD OF HIS CAR to turn off the alarm, and then accused me of hitting his car. My husband and the five children in my car all confirmed that I didn't. After confronting me in the parking lot, he walked back into K1 while I followed behind. I found it very inappropriate for an employee to yell at a customer, especially as they were entering the business. The kids enjoyed themselves, but the overall customer service was not up to my expectations. When I book a party I like to be stress free, otherwise I would just host a party at my own house.

There are so many rides designed just for younger children, and my son had a blast exploring everything. Our absolute favorite was the helicopter ride where you pedal to make your helicopter fly higher into the air. It was such a unique ride, and he couldn't stop talking about it! The outside play area was also much bigger than we expected and was adorable. It gave the kids plenty of space to climb, explore, and burn off energy. The petting zoo was another fun stop, and we loved the cute sand digging station next to the tortoise exhibit. While the animal exhibits aren't as large or extensive as some bigger zoos, the variety of rides and play areas more than makes up for it. Happy Hollow is really the perfect mix of a zoo and an amusement park for younger children. They also have a full café with plenty of options, including pizza, snacks, ice cream, and even healthier choices, so it's easy to spend the entire day without leaving the park. The only downside during our visit was that I wish more of the rides had been open. Even so, we had a wonderful time and are already planning another visit. Next time we'll arrive earlier so we can enjoy even more of what the park has to offer. Overall, it's a fantastic family destination, and we'll definitely be back!

Danny the Dragon and the rollercoaster ride were down for maintenance which sucked -- my oldest was most excited for these ones, we've never been before but in every video he's come across these are known as the "not to miss rides" He did however, enjoy/love all other rides which is the main reason for the 3 star review. Most animal enclosures/exhibits were covered. We saw no more than 10 animals here during our visit. My son was surprised this was called a "zoo" lol. It was super disappointing. The goat petting area was appreciated, it did keep my kids entertained for a bit. It was pretty busy for a Thursday but lines for the open rides moved quickly. The playground however, does get full quickly lol. It was a hit for my kids as well. Food: you're better off packing your own snack/lunch. It's self serve and quick which is appreciated but let's be honest, the quality was horrible. The cheeseburger was so hard to eat even my husband was disgusted. He had the grilled chicken sandwich and said it was "okay" My kids had macaroni and cheese, it was Kraft so couldn't mess up there lol. Pricing is also ridiculous but expected. We paid $60 for 2 burgers, 2 fries, 2 Mac and cheeses Overall, probably wouldn't return, it was an hour drive and just not worth it with all the closed down things, wish they mentioned this on the website -- only the rides are referenced

I understand that staff members have to enforce safety rules, especially when the facility is busy, but the communication could have been more welcoming. The kids still had some fun, but the crowds, closures, limited seating, and service made the visit less enjoyable than it could have been. This place has potential for a family outing, but I would recommend checking what is open before visiting and going during a less crowded time.
