I came here on a field trip with my job, a before and after school program that is in the middle of summer camp. My group participated in the mini golf with neon, and glow in the dark theme. The children had a blast. The kid golf clubs were filthy. I did make a comment to the young staff, it seemed as if they're not cleaned often. There are three bathroom stalls, not enough to accommodate the plethora of children coming. Plus, there was no soap and the second time I escorted the girls to the bathroom there were no paper towels. Are there bathroom checked to replenish these items? The play area was a hot mess two female staff was sitting and talking, later I did see them picking up balls from the ball pit. But no supervision or enforcing rules with the children. This place is smaller than I expected, but there were still plenty of activities to keep the kids busy and entertained. We visited on a Sunday, and it wasn't too crowded, which was nice because the kids had plenty of room to play. They also have party rooms available, and the rooms are a good size for birthday celebrations and group events. My only suggestion is that the food court service could be more attentive. Very disappointed in our visit. First of all, all of the social media posts we see about this place, shows adults going down the slides with their children. We were informed that adults are NOT allowed on the second story of the play structure and cannot accompany our child on the slides. Our 21 month old had to stay on the first floor the whole visit. She started getting upset that we wouldn't allow her to follow the other kids up to the slides. I asked an employee why we couldn't go down the slides with our daughter and she said per new ownership, they changed the rules. Except recent videos (as of today) on social media of people advertising this place show adults going down the slides. We also witnessed adults walking around the top floors with their kids and going down the slides. It seems that the rules aren't applicable to everyone. Tons of balls in the ball pit were deflated, the ball cannon shooters were not working and that's pretty much all there is to do if you stay on the ground floor. Older kids can play in the ball pit and it's simply way too small for that. My daughter was terrified of the older kids running and jumping into the pit around her. It was a rainy day outside and very crowded. I asked one of the floor workers if she could turn on the giant overhead fan to help move some air around since it was very muggy and warm and she said she had to ask the owner first. She even admitted she was getting hot as well. 20 minutes went by and it was never turned on. I guess it doesn't work? Not sure why you need to ask the owner for permission to turn on a fan. The layout could use a little rearranging. It's a cool concept, just not executed nearly as well as others with the same idea. For the price, $40-ish for two adults to accompany their toddler, it's absolutely not worth it. We won't be returning. Also keep in mind, if you order tickets and sign the waiver ahead of time, you'll still have to wait in line behind people who didn't. Just one person in front of us with one child took 15 minutes to buy their tickets and sign the waiver. Once we were checked in which took less than 5 minutes, the line was out the door. We attended my child's friend's birthday party at Lost Worlds over the summer, and the experience was fantastic. There were so many activities for the kids to enjoy, including bowling, laser tag, and a great playground area. Everyone had an amazing time. We later visited again as a family, and the experience was just as wonderful. The new owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the staff did an excellent job ensuring safety throughout our visit. Lost Worlds is a great place for small parties and family fun. My first review was flagged for being too short and yelp requested more details. Here it is. I do not recommend Lost Worlds for any child who is not completely verbal, who might have speech delay or needs, or who can't recite their families phone number. My 3 year old son went missing for 30 minutes. My husband checked each room frantically for him. I stayed with my other kids. We were told very bluntly that Lost Worlds staff would not help us. It is only our responsibility and it is too bad if he got lost. A single call over the loud speaker to go to the Cafe didn't and wouldn't help with a young child. They wouldn't check cameras they wouldn't have a single person direct us to areas he might be. They wouldn't verify if he had left the building or if they saw him. My son luckily appeared. We left. During this time, I also witnessed a young girl who was separated from her family. She was crying for her parents. The families around told her to stay in one area, and after 15 minutes the dad found her. Lost Worlds needs to have a Lost child procedure. Their procedure to call on the loud speaker only isn't appropriate. My husband called the assistant manager later to state his concerns. She reiterated that Lost Worlds is not responsible for the children on thr premises. No "I'm glad you found him" or any other comment. read more

12/17: UPDATED REVIEW AFTER " GM " called me! I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Lost World, not only during my child's birthday party but especially in how my concerns were handled afterward. After spending $1,200 on a party for a 4-year-old, I reached out with legitimate concerns about the service and food. The general manager did call me back, but the conversation was condescending, dismissive, and unprofessional from the start. She refused to issue any kind of refund -- not even for the food that was served cold. This is despite the fact that her own lead cook admitted that our pizza had been left out and that the nachos were written so small on the ticket that he initially missed them. Instead of taking accountability, I was told they "ran the cameras back," yet still offered no resolution. To make matters worse, the only "solution" offered was for us to come back and accept a voucher, which is completely unacceptable after such a poor experience -- especially since this was a one-time birthday event. I also explained that staff was aware this was a toddler party and that we should have been placed in the toddler area. Initially, that is not what we were told, but later the explanation changed to "due to the size," which directly contradicts what was said at the beginning. What bothered me most was the complete lack of professionalism. The manager repeatedly stated that she was the "highest in charge," yet it's very clear that this establishment needs leadership above her. There was no effort to resolve my complaints, no accountability, and no customer care. Ironically, my initial complaint was about how unprofessional and untrained the front staff appeared -- but after speaking with management, it's clear this behavior is learned from the top down. When leadership lacks professionalism, the employees will follow. I will never recommend Lost World for parties or events, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere. I will not bringing back my family after today. My daughter received money to bring a friend with her to lost worlds for Christmas from her gramps. Paying for 2 passes and a large pepperoni pizza costs $114. Only to find out when we arrived after checking in and kids about to play that my daughter who is 11 and her friend who is 11 as well could not play in the big play structure, this is the main attraction of this place. I did talk to Rose who seemed to be the manager, did state that there was a height restriction after the fact and after my child got denied. She stated that it should be on the site and I see replies from the manager on here in reviews have said the same thing. However, I have pictures showing that they do not state any height restrictions when buying the passes and at checkout. This is a false advertisement. The other activities they have here will not keep 11 yr old attention for more than an hour. The price ypu pay does not match up to the number of activities this place has to offer. We actually ended up leaving in frustration to go bowling. I will never return to this place again. It is sad as we use to frequent this place alot, and the last time was in October and my kid had no issues. He's a huge dinosaur fan, so as soon as I found it, I knew we had to have his birthday here. The place is super cool & HUGE! There's so much to do! We have to come back & spend a lil more time to get through everything. Our party host was Laila. We had a 2 hour party & she kept it flowing perfectly! Very disappointed in the services provided when throwing my twins birthday party here at the Lost Worlds. To start their check-in process is very poor along with the amount of pre-party planning time. They only give you 15-mins to setup your birthday party area before guest start to show up. That's really not enough time. All guest service does is put out plates and write your kids name on the whiteboard outside of the party room area. If you plan on bringing extra party stuff to put up, such as a banner, ballon décor, cupcake display, then bring extra help to help you set up, because guest services won't help with any of that. They really don't provide much for the 18% they charge you when it comes time to pay the bill. As for the check-in for guest of the party, we had people come in, given no socks, directions, or anything. I had to run over and leave our guest to get socks for the party goers. Are party host was never around. We never had anyone really check in on us. After the food was brought over and drinks were passed out they were no where to be found. I had to leave once again to get refills for the drinks. This stuff wouldn't really bother me, but they included the tip into the price. read more

I'm going to be generous and round my 3.5 star up to a 4. We went in a Monday and they have a summer special of $15 for an all day VIP wristband (kids and adults). Normally I think it's double the price and I would find that pretty pricey. But for $15, I'd say not bad. There's a big internal play structure with a big ball pit and what I'm going to call speed racing slides. There's laser tag which had a pretty decent 2 level arena, but the laser guns were a little weird to use (you HAVE to have 2 hands on it at the right locations and it was hard to see if you were hitting your target. They told us there were two teams but you couldn't tell once the game started and there was friendly fire. At the end there was no scoreboard. But for a laser tag arena that's embedded/included in the price of the whole place, it wasn't bad. There was a ninja warrior type course with a warped wall, though the wall was a little too warped (like it was sagging). Above the ninja warrior course was a sort of agility course where you wear a helmet and a harness and you have to walk across various suspended paths that required balance. There were also some rock climbing walls, glow in the dark mini-golf, a jumpy house, "mini bowling" (not included in VIP wristbands), and arcade games (not included in VIP wristbands). Overall for $15 per person all day, it was fun and plenty to do. I will say most things were in shabby conditions but it was fine for this price point. We also got a large cheese pizza that ended up being pretty good, much better than you would typically expect at a kids play place like this. If it wasn't so far from where we live, we'd come back on Mondays. read more

We just had a great birthday party with 25+ kids, and everyone had a blast. "Lost Worlds" is a slapdash mess should be as extinct as the characters it showcases. The slides are fun enough to have a good time for a while but the unethical and lazy staff, the half-baked that makes hot pockets look like a 5-stae gourmet, and shoddy facilities beyond the slides make this an experience that will make you protest for your money back The stake in the coffin for me to ever return here was the staff. Having worked at a children's museum previously, I have certain understandubg of what responsivilitiea the staff members and managers have. Suffice to say, this place did not follow those standards. This was most clearly confirmed in their treatment toward me when my son ran off. Was there.criticism to pour on me? Absolutely. But there is still a protocol a children's facility should follow when it comes to children's well being. For me, I was with my 3 year old son my 7 year old daughter. She was trying to show me something on the playground area while my was playing on a structure right behind me. While I was watching my girl, he ran off. Itvis a large playground, so I looked and looked until I asked a member of the place. She made a racio call in the mega phone, assured me that she hadn't seen him or anyobe exit the building, and left it alone. In my training as a children's museum educator, we had a very specific protocol for lost children. I'd a child is missing, you make an announcement to all educators on staff to look for the child. If the child is missing for five minutes, the museum is shut and no one can enter or exit until the child is do be. If the change is has been missing for 10 minutes, the museum calls the poilice. This was not how "Lost World" handled it. After the megaphone Ann and instructing my son to come the front, the woman making the Ann was content that sh had fulfilled her responsibility. I'm sorry, but making a megaphone announcement for a 3-year-old to hear respond to does not cut it for me. After 10 more minutes of frantically looking around to no avail, I saw that same staff member at the front simply doing her job as normal without any further actions. She did shut down the place. And she made no announcements to others staff to look for him. When I begged for a t further assistance, she shrewdly exclaimed, "Your kids are your responsibility.". I don't argue that that's true, but we were still paying customers, and the well-being of every patron is playing e's responsibility. I finally found my sond was of course relieved beyond words, but a further instance reaffirmed my rage. As my son and went back to my wife, daufh, and younger son; we saw a girl who.bo older than six crying in terror as she tried to find her parents. My wife came up to her to make sure she stayed in my be spot so her parents would eventually find her which r they did. As we continued in what we knew would be our only visit to this place, a staff member interjected to tell ya that we had to have the proper socks. So in essence, two children moaning the place with no parents y them is not a concern, but wearing the appropriate socks is. Rh next day, I called the museum to complain only to find that the woman blamed me was the assistant manager. Not only was I a very at rgat that that meant my opinions were not enough to change any opinions. But also, an assistant manager does not believe it is necessary to uphold a strong system of monitoring children's safety, well being, and adult coverage. Just left right now (6pm on 5/3/26) & won't come back. My kids were told they are "too short " for almost everything (7&10) but when you look at the aerial climb it really doesn't look that sturdy and I would be scared to have a larger child do the course. Both of my daughters have done the aerial courses at great wolf lodge so for sure going there in future. We showed up after 4:30 and left by 5:50 because this place sucks. While we were here someone pulled a fire alarm and all the workers just looked at each other and didn't try to evacuate anyone which was a crazy safety hazard because how do you know the difference of an accidental pull and a real emergency? Okay, what a hidden gem! Such a cute place seriously! My friend hosted her son's birthday here this past weekend, and all my kids had a blast. It's super kid friendly, but still enjoyable for adults. They seemed to renovate and fix the place up just in time for our visit and it sold us! I totally want to host my son's birthday there now lol. They have play structures, a strength and training gym/course, rock climbing, jumpy houses, laser tag, mini golf, and an arcade. While the place is spacious and offers plenty of activities for children, I hope the management takes action to address this issue and improve safety measures. Been here twice in less than a year. First time was for a booked birthday party and second time was for my little cousin because he wanted to go for his birthday but we didn't book any party rooms/packages in advance. The cleanliness in this establishment can be a lot better. There's trash in a few places here and there around the whole place and it looks like some have been sitting there for a while. It just seems like the owner of the place / managers have a very low standard to keep this place clean. I understand that this place is for kids and kids are naturally going to be messy, so shouldn't the staff / upper management be more attentive to the standard of cleanliness?? They have piles of garbage bags sitting on the side by the bathroom entrances, the tables all feel sticky / unclean, and the bathroom is just nasty. We've also asked staff members 3 times to clean the bathroom during our stay and nothing was still done about it. If they can't get these areas cleaned, that just raises question of "do they even clean their play areas?" "How often are things sanitized?" Again, cleanliness issue. I mean, I got mosquito bites in here... The staff was also a mix for me. Some were very nice and pleasant to work with, some seem like they didn't want to be here and weren't attentive to helping the guests. Some play areas are also damaged and haven't been fixed. This poses a danger to these kids and this place is just waiting for someone to get hurt. The mini golf area seems very neglected. There's visible damages to the course and it's hard to determine the order of the course because the numbers aren't clearly shown. Aside from that, the place is big and they have a lot of party rooms so it's nice for big parties. The layout for the arcade is a bit weird because there's like 3 or 4 in the other room while most of it is in the middle. The food is good, selection is good. A friend told me about this place months ago and I've been eager to bring my toddler ever since. I drove all the way from Manteca and picked up family from the San Jose airport so I decided today would be a great day to stop by Lost Worlds Adventures on our way through Livermore. Upon entry we were so excited--the hand painted murals, "lifelike" dinosaur sculptures, and realistic dinosaur sounds made my daughter giddy to go play! But I gotta tell ya...if you're going charge $20 a person, even adults, you need to keep your establishment in tip top shape. The bathroom alone wad disgusting; the seat protector dispenser was ripped off the wall and all of the contents pulled out and loose on the toilet tank. They clearly don't check it to clean often at all because someone actually urinated all over the floor in the big stall. Several features in the play structure area were broken and inoperable, rendering some of the spaces useless. Half of the arcade games were broken and the ones that weren't were obviously rigged to rip you off. There were also several loose and exposed electrical wires on some of the arcade games. The only well maintained area was the mini golf section and I will admit we had a very good time playing there. I also think they need to be more diligent about having staff monitor the activity and enforce the rules within the play structure. A whole group of rude little boys came in for a birthday party and while my toddler and I were positioned to go down the slides together, 6 of these boys were climbing up the slides, even stepping over us like we weren't even sitting there. They were all going up and down the slides, pushing each other around and it was getting dangerous really fast before my sister said something to them. Anyway, we may be back eventually because my daughter did enjoy it from her perspective, but there are several other play places that are better maintained for the same price or less and won't charge me $20 to keep my toddler from being trampled by 10 year olds. read more

I brought our own socks from another indoor play business (like many, we have lots of these). I was forced to purchase Lost World's socks because the kid at the counter said I had to. I argued, she insisted. It wasn't the money it was just annoying. I yielded and bought the socks at around $4 per. My 3 year old needs me to be able to enter the play structure with her. So of course I had to pay the adult accompanying fee at around $8. More annoyance. I'm not playing here, I'm keeping my kid alive. Next were prize games. Ok people, these games have adjustments to dial up or down how rigged it is against winning prizes. I've played a lot of claw games and can say the three we tried were dialed all the way up. The claw drops, sits on a prize, does not close at all, and just raises and returns to start. Daughter super disappointed. Yay. I also had several games take our credits and do nothing. At least three times. So I go to the front counter and speak with a manager type person. I explain. She asks which game (but doesn't leave the counter). I describe. She still isn't sure which game or how much credits they take but offers 20 credits. I myself walk back to the game to see how many credits and return to the desk. I say each play should have been 25 credits so roughly 75 credits taken. She seems confused but increases her "offer" to 50 credits (again, unwilling to walk herself to the game to investigate or even offer any interest in the situation. I express my frustration. She's un phased. I walk away, clearly irritated and again, this makes no impact. My fee included mini golf which neither daughter played so I think I payed around $70 for my daughters to play in a playground for a few hours. Could've gone to a McDonalds playground for free (plus some crappy food price). On to the food. Zero healthful options. Fried meats, pizzas, fries, slushies, sodas, some gatorades and cheap concentrated apple juices. Mini pizza is around $17 and larger is something like $25 or $30. Lastly, they run a lot of parties, apparently because about every ten minutes the loud speakers (set to highest volume seemingly) would blast an announcement and I swear, all conversations in the building stop as you can't hear anything else. It almost seemed like a bit because they were insanely long for just announcing the next party. Just awful. These places have gotten greedy or their operating costs are simply too high. Either way, I won't return and when I experience a place like this I'll be posting these reviews to call them out until they improve or looking for a better option. Poor customer service, poor value, annoying sock policies (ok to require but if we have similar socks, let us use them ffs), poor prize game experience, and poor food options. Only reason it's not one star is well, my daughters had fun but they can have fun with a can of rocks and a doll. read more
