I love this place. The tomato sauce is really fresh crushed tomatoes…read more If you prefer a more marinara like sauce, this might not be your jam. BUT , and I like big buts, if you like fresh tomatoes, fresh ingredients, and brick oven pizza then my friend this IS your jam! The cheese is fantastic, the shop is small, all they do is make great pizza. Crust and dough is on point. Plus if you go to the Windermere Brewery you can order the pizza at the bar and they will deliver it, with paper plates and napkins. Awesome local business, amazing pizza, make sure to give this a try!

The staff was friendly and helpful, both on the phone to order and in person. The little building is beautifully situated and a very pleasant space. Great spot to sit outside and enjoy your pizza. For my first visit I ordered simple as I always do on a first visit to a new-to-me pizza restaurant. And Pizza 14 does ONLY pizza. I had plain cheese on half, pepperoni on a quarter and sausage/peppers on a quarter. The box was sturdy, not going to leak through. The pizza was gorgeous and I was so excited. But it had no taste. I didn't taste the sauce. I didn't taste any seasoning. Very bland. I hope this was an outlier. It wasn't bad. It simply wasn't good. Certainly not great as I expected. I'll try them again, though.

Everything from the cheese, the thickness of the crust, the cook of the crust, to the oily drips on my plate. I'm tired of "NY style" pizza in FL. It's great to have found a true NY slice here! That said, I left with 4 or five slices and forgot to get pics of them all because I was being greedy. I got a pepperoni, plain cheese, vodka, the vodka w the penne on it, a BBQ chicken slice and another one that was mostly sauce with two drops of like ricotta or something. They were all good! The BBQ sauce might've been a little on the sweeter side for my taste, but otherwise great pizza!

If you could transport a traditional pizza parlor out of Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens and drop it in Orlando, this would be the spot. I can't be sure, but it felt family-owned by multiple generations of guys working behind the counter, taking pride and care in the pies they were making. It almost was like a pizza ice cream parlor in this fact that their slices were on display behind a glass counter and were impossible to choose. The dining area was larger than it looked in this strip mall setting, and the bathrooms were clean, as were all the tables, making it feel more like a restaurant than a quick slice shop. The sliced portions were generous, and the selection ranged from traditional slices, such as meat lovers, veggie, to more exotic Neapolitan and a vodka sauce-inspired slice that they were proud to have me try. We also ordered a Caesar salad that had a great taste and crisp lettuce, which is a must! At the end of the day, Sal's Pizza Bar was a great find. I appreciated the pride and love put into these pies and the service that we received.

If being a wing guy was a personality trait, it would absolutely be mine…read more I grew up making regular pilgrimages to Buffalo Wild Wings and every solid local joint that knew how to toss a proper wing. Even after moving to Florida, I've had some great ones... but I'm always chasing that next "ohhh yeah" bite. That chase led us to Josie's Pizza and Wings -- and let me tell you, this was not a casual wing experience. This was a commitment to flavor. I went with the Citrus Chipotle. My wife stayed loyal to her signature BBQ (she doesn't mess around when she finds her flavor). The wings came out glistening like they knew they were about to be talked about on Yelp. First surprise? The onion rings. Dare I say... elite. Crispy, golden, not greasy, actual crunch in every bite. And the spicy dipping sauce they paired with them? Game changer. I would order those alone and be completely satisfied. Now the wings. Top. Tier. That crunch when you bite in? Immediate validation. The Citrus Chipotle brought the sweet heat balance perfectly -- not overpowering, just enough kick to keep you going back for "one more." The BBQ was bold, classic, exactly what a BBQ wing should be without tasting bottled and basic. You can taste when a kitchen cares about texture and execution. These weren't soggy, over-sauced, or phoned in. These were dialed in. Safe to say we'll absolutely be back. We left already talking about what flavors we're trying next. Josie's -- you've officially entered the wing rotation. Let's sauce up and dive in.

We started with jalapeño poppers, which were delicious and crispy. We had hot honey wings, which the wings were not soggy. They had a nice crispness to them, but was not dry and was very meaty. Then we had probably the best garlic cheesy bread that I have ever had. It is extra cheesy though. We had no more room to try anything else, but we will definitely be back. They also offer delivery, which is nice.
