Wine tasting on the patio with a view of the vineyard
    Jessica P.

Very enjoyable wine tasting experience. We sat at a patio table with a beautiful view of the vineyards and listened to the wind and sounds of hawks in the distance. So peaceful! Great spacing - actually we were at the only table on the small front patio (there was another group on the other side of the building). It was a fun and intimate setting and felt almost like visiting good friends or family. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. They also brought out a booklet for each of us to read about the different wines as we tasted them, and we had a little bowl of hazelnuts to enjoy in between glasses. I was surprised to be greeted by dogs, but they were well-behaved and mostly just followed the staff around or relaxed in the sunshine on the patio so they turned out to be part of the great atmosphere. The wine is good too! All we tasted were good and I'd happily have a glass or bottle of any of them.

Had an excellent time wine tasting here on Saturday after the smoke from the fires cleared up. We had a group of 6 and they were able to get us a reservation within 30 minutes of when we called. Everyone was carefully observing COVID guidelines and we felt very safe out in the open air. The winemakers were knowledgeable and even gave us some samples of grapes! We will absolutely be back and highly recommend if you want a more casual and informative wine tasting experience. The tasting was $15 and we got to try 5 fabulous wines.

A hidden gem of a vineyard. Beautiful views. Great wine (both the Pinots and the Bubbly). Beth, Kevin, and Sara are gracious hosts.

We had a great experience with our Shiba Inu, tasting the delicious wines, and having the opportunity to meet and talk with Beth.

Cedric (the owner) is the literally the best! When I reached out about his company, he called me…read moreand we had a fantastic chat. He was very attentive and wanted to get a vibe for what the group (6 women) wanted and enjoys in life - all so HE could plan 2 amazing days at wineries in the greater Portland area. After the chat, we netted out on two full days (8 hrs each day. We survived by the way.) in June. He picked us up right at our Airbnb (Pearl) in a comfortable van with lots of room and already had the jams playing (his 90s/00s playlist is ON POINT). For the first day, we went out to the Mt. Hood area which was beyond beautiful (don't think I've ever seen a winery with a majestic mountain as a back drop). I highly recommend this route as it has more of a mom & pop feeling than other major wine areas I've visited (especially if you can do multiple days in this region). You also get a wider range of varietals vs. Willamette (not knocking W.V. AT ALL as I'm a Pinot Noir gal). Cedric completely planned the entire day and we hit up 4 different wineries and none disappointed. He also grabbed us lunch which was fantastic. The drive is beautiful along the Colombia River. Dropped off at our place in the Pearl. Day 2 (the following day) we hit up the famous Willamette Valley. We had a couple last minute requests (in terms of must-have wineries) that Cedric completely accommodated and he re-routed our day to ensure we hit the best of the best. He worked his magic and we were able to visit FIVE (!), including the last stop where we chatted with the owner/winemaker while playing bocce ball (Utopia wines). It was a fantastic day. We visited some big players like Domaine Serene (YES) and Stoller (great for a picnic lunch), but also some smaller but beautiful wineries like Colene Clemens (top of hill overlooking valley) and Vista Hills (think tree house vibes). Cedric promised a magical day and he delivered. This was by far my favorite wine tour experience and I've done a lot of them across the country/world. Cedric was the difference maker. He's a fantastic and hilarious host and truly makes the experience one to remember. His company has other drivers as well and I imagine they are of the same breed as Mr. Cedric, so no matter who you get, you won't be disappointed!!

Roger and his entire team never fail to impress. This was our second tour of Oregon wine country,…read moreand it won't be our last. Roger takes the time to call you in advance of the tour, talk about what you might like in terms of wine style, types of grapes, feel of the tasting rooms and your desired pace of the day. We found that planning for there wineries in a day is really the perfect leisurely pace to set - four leaves you tired, and five will put you down for the count! What makes Tesla Custom tours exceptional is Roger's live of wine, and extensive experience in the area. He knows the vintners personally, understands the pros and cons of each one well, and is a "club member" of several the vineyards he likes himself. It's a treat to have a tour guide who really enjoys the craft aspect of winemaking and is able to share his local knowledge and experience as part of the day's adventures. Rodgers also prepares an over the top lunch for guests that is served at one of the wineries along the way, pairing the food with the wine in a delightful ambience that creates great memories. A huge thank you to Roger for always taking great care of us and our friends!

My parents and younger sister (who are not avid good wine drinkers) were visiting and LOVED the tour! We also had an 8 month and 7 year old children with us and Roger made sure everywhere we went was accommodating. We did the winery lunch option and it was totally worth it. Roger even surprised my mother with a birthday cake (her birthday was the next day). Roger's knowledge of the area and overall sharing of his life experience really made the trip memorable and fun. Highly recommended.

Their common areas include a dining room, a living room, a small library (with books and games) and TV room, as well as front and back porches. We originally booked the Oregon Trail room, but Kristin offered to upgrade us to the Oregon Coast room at a discounted rate. We chose the Oregon Coast room for the private balcony and stunning views over the valley. The room was lovely and comfortable. Toiletries, robes, and slippers are all provided for the guests. Our room also had an electric fireplace, which was nice. There was no TV, but that wasn't an issue for us. This is their handicapped accessible room, so there were extra shower and toilet seat handle bars. We stayed two nights and enjoyed two amazing breakfasts prepared by Ayelet. Over the two days, we were treated to blueberry French Toast, a poached pear, homemade bread, scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, blueberry scones, and a baked apple. Plus a selection of their homemade jelly/jam. A lot of the ingredients were sourced right from the property. While we ate, Ayelet asked us about our plans for the day, and she offered super helpful suggestions on what to do, where to go, what to eat. She even gave us printed maps! Some other noteworthy items: you get one free T-shirt with your stay; you have a choice of breakfast at 8 or 9 am; there are coolers, sunscreen, and sunglasses you can borrow; they ask your breakfast beverage of choice and usually have it out in the dining room an hour before your breakfast time; there are always homemade cookies, water, and glasses by the mini fridge; you can buy their homemade jam/jelly as well as T-shirts, mugs, coasters, etc. We loved our stay here. The view was gorgeous, the food was delicious, our room was comfortable, and Ayelet was amazing!

Overwhelmed by all the wineries? They can help navigate with excellent suggestions. Breakfast is offered at 8 or 9 am - my only suggestion would be having coffee available at 7am to hold me over (coming from east coast, even 8am was late for me). Even the jams at breakfast are for sale, and reasonably priced for the unique combinations. An outstanding base for a few days in Oregon's beautiful wine country.
