This review is long overdue…read more As someone who's petite, I've struggled for many years to find clothes that fit me just right. More times than I can count, I've had to return pieces I absolutely loved because they simply weren't made for my frame. Finding Hector has truly been such a blessing. He has tailored countless pieces for me, and every single one has fit perfectly. Instead of settling for clothes that "kind of" fit, I now get to wear pieces that make me feel confident, comfortable, and like the best version of myself. It's amazing how much a perfectly tailored outfit can completely change the way you feel. Beyond his incredible assistance, Hector is one of the kindest, most genuine, and professional people you'll meet. He is patient, detail-oriented, reliable, and truly takes pride in his work. He always takes the time to make sure everything fits exactly how you envision it, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and the quality of every piece he works on. I've trusted Hector with countless alterations over the years, and I'll continue to support him and recommend him to anyone looking for exceptional tailoring. It's rare to find someone who is not only incredibly talented but also so warm, humble, and dedicated to their craft. The photos I've attached are just a few of the many pieces he's tailored for me over the years, and I'm so grateful for every one of them.

I dropped it off on 03/13 and picked it up today--overall a quick and smooth turnaround. Hector assisted me throughout the process and made everything easy from start to finish. I had the body length of the jacket cropped by about two inches, which also required adjusting the zipper. The stitching came out incredibly clean and looks professional--you honestly can't even tell it was altered. On top of that, the price for the service was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the work. I left completely satisfied and will definitely be coming back for future alterations. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality tailoring. Cheers!

I will likely try a business shop vs home shop next time. I called multiple times and arranged for a fitting to alter two jackets. First Don said he was available the next day and to call back. I did and arranged to stop by, kept asking for the address, and finally he gave it to me, but called back later and ask I stop by later that day. When I tried again in the afternoon, he gave me an address and said his sister is helping him and will meet with me. Went to the home and the man introduced himself as Don so I was so confused. He said a business partner is sending him leadals, maybe that is Don? The woman (Loan) was very sweet who did my alterations. Anyway, whoever I ended up being sent to was ok but it wasnt Don and cant find her listing to leave a review there. Leaving this here so others are aware they may be sent elsewhere instead of Don. The alterations for 2 jackets were ok. One jacket was perfect but the other was looser and not quite as tailored. Price was cheaper than standard so I was not too upset, you get what you pay for.

ATTENTION ALL NAVY PERSONNEL…read more If you're looking for another embroidery, alteration, and dry cleaning spot this is the place to go. It is relatively a little cheaper than doing at the uniform shop and definitely save you some time. I've been going here throughout my naval career to get my uniform stitched and dry clean whatever I need. They will also starch your neckerchief and tie it for you. The owner of the shop is a retired senior chief. Him and his wife are very friendly and will help you with any questions.

DO NOT BRING YOUR NAVY UNIFORMS TO THIS SHOP!!!! I would give zero stars if available. I'm very…read moresurprised at how badly they messed up sewing two NWU uniforms when the owner prides himself that they've been taking care of military since the eighties. They sewed my rank devices in two very obviously different sizes, as well as sewing both my pockets shut, not to mention the name tape and my Surface Warfare tape were sewn very sloppily. Oh, and I forgot to mention the sewn in extra piece of material on the inside. The shop is out of my way, and when I tried picking my uniforms up the first time, I obviously had to leave them to be fixed. The woman who works the counter tried giving me the phone number of the employee that sewed my uniforms. I said I don't want to talk with your employee, I want my uniforms fixed. It took another two days and more of my time and gas money to get my uniforms done right. No mention of a discount or even a refund. Bad customer service and terrible business sense. Very disappointed. Lost me as a customer forever, and I hope you think twice about having this chop shop sew any military uniforms of yours either.
