She has a booming business so don't think you can just come in one day and receive everything that same week. She needs at least 2 weeks for most items it seems. I don't get clothes altered much so I've had to ask for her opinion on how much to adjust things and she gives her professional feedback and I just trust it. Both times it's turned out amazing. Absolutely 5 stars! I have only been here twice and the visits were like a decade apart and nothing has changed which is the best part of businesses like these. Susie is so friendly and professional, you will be hooked from the first visit. Prices are among the lowest around and she has plenty of business, you just tell her when you need you need it done. She always will accommodate you for your deadline, just make sure you give her at least 1-2'weeks. I remember my mother showing me the basics of sewing, and then forgot how a month later. At least I can sew a button now and do a simple hand stitch thanks to YouTube also! That's about it though.. So, I came recently to get some suit pants hemmed just an inch and a half or so. It was a special type of double hemline so it had to be nice and straight. Used her fitting room and changed,then stepped up on a short platform/stage so she could get the measurements. It was quick, easy, and you know, painless. A week later, I went to pickup and didn't even check them till I arrived home. I knew. Of course they fit perfect..! Susie Thai Alterations is the absolute BEST! I have been coming to her for years. I often buy tops a size up and have them taken in for a proper fit, she always does a fantastic job. My husband can never find pants in his length so goes a size longer and gets them altered. Suits, dresses, wedding dresses are all done beautifully at a great price and on time. Ahhhh... my favorite little tailor. She's close to home, she does great work, and she's sweet as can be. I recently had a few "projects" for her and she really worked her magic and gave me a great finished product on both jobs. The first was sewing a patch and some tags on a jacket for me. I won't go into detail on this one as it's one of those sneaky little things that I like to pull off and she was happy to be my partner in crime. To be clear, the project wasn't criminal, just kind of fun and as I said, sneaky. The second was a bit more involved when I bought a pair of grey jeans that were billed as my typical Levi's 511's. The color was great but the legs were vastly different than my typical 511's. So, I took in my favorite pair of 511's and had her mimic the leg width and length. The result was absolutely perfect and I now think I have my new favorite pair of pants. This is the kind of place you only really go when you need to, but I'm glad she's there in my personal times of need. read more

I don't know what's going on in the clothing Industry but every pair of jeans I buy is way to long by about 6 inches. (And I'm tall) I took a pair of jeans in to Susie Thai to get hemming done. I dropped them off Monday at 4pm & they were ready by Friday at noon. It was $14 which seems like the going rate these days. I will definitely return to get future hemming done. read more

I showed up on Saturday (08/12) morning only to find that my items where nowhere to be found. She finally found them, in a fitting room and they were not done.
